They were the ones who had made the mess, but somehow, her other husbands were the ones who had to clean up after them.
"I can clean this room myself after eating," Roxanna spoke in a low voice. "You don’t have to do it."
Cyrus only chuckled as he carried her out of the room. "Why are you worrying about something like that?" he asked. "It’s not a big deal."
He gently lowered Roxanna onto the animal pelts that had already been spread across the communal space.
"After you finish eating, Zeir will help you clean yourself," Cyrus said. He placed the basket of food in front of her again. "And after that, you can finally rest properly."
Roxanna knew that her husbands would insist on doing that for her, so she finally nodded. "Okay..."
After Cyrus went back into the room, Roxanna quietly continued eating.
She had thought her hunger would disappear after eating half of the roasted meat, but the moment she took another bite, her stomach seemed to wake up again.
Before she knew it, the remaining meat was gone.
"There’s still some roasted meat in the kitchen if you want more," Cyrus called from inside the room, making it clear that he had been paying attention to her the whole time. "I can get it for you. Just wait—"
"It’s fine! I can move on my own!" Roxanna quickly cut him off.
She immediately pushed herself to her feet. However, before she could take more than a few steps, Zeir had already returned to the hut after leaving Luan with Calen.
"Stay there," he ordered without even looking at her.
Zeir walked straight to the kitchen, grabbed a few pieces of roasted meat, and brought them back to her.
"You’ve been through a lot these past few days," he said as he gently guided Roxanna back to where she had been sitting. "So just rest and let us do everything for you."
Roxanna could only stare at him. [Honestly... they’re being a little too much,] she sighed inwardly. [But then again, who doesn’t like being pampered like this?]
In the end, she decided not to argue. Roxanna happily continued eating the roasted meat until there was nothing left.
Just as she finished, Calen finally brought Luan back into the hut.

Luan continued glaring sharply at Calen before suddenly shaking his head rapidly in his direction, sending water splashing all over him.
"Hey!" Calen immediately jumped back, raising his arms to protect himself from the water.
"You shitty cat!" he shouted. "I swear, I’ll take you to the river and let Azul’s crocodile friends eat you if you keep acting like a bad cat!"
