Chapter 363: His Last Thread of Sanity
The moment the others left the room, Roxanna leaned closer to Luan.
She whispered, "Don’t bite."
Right after that, she gently pressed her lips against his. For a brief moment, the burning instinct inside him seemed to stop. His eyes widened as he stared at her, his racing thoughts falling silent beneath the warmth of her kiss.’’
Roxanna didn’t rush him. She simply held him there, one hand resting against his cheek while the other gently brushed through his dark hair.
"You don’t have to fight alone anymore," she whispered when their lips parted. "I’m here."
Luan shut his eyes tightly. His breathing was still rough, and every muscle in his body trembled from the heat raging beneath his skin, but hearing her voice only made the guilt in his heart grow stronger.
"Why... are you still smiling at me?" His voice cracked. "I’m like this... and all I can think about is hurting you."
Luan took a deep breath, murmuring, "I hate this."
Roxanna gently caressed his cheek with her thumb. "I don’t."
Luan clenched his fist and gripped the vines that encircled his wrists, trying desperately to hold himself together.
"I’m scared," he admitted.
"I know."
"I’m scared I’ll hurt you."
"I know." Roxanna nodded. "But it’s alright. It’s really alright. I can heal myself in the end."
Luan still looked unsure. He truly didn’t want to do anything that might hurt her later. But his body wouldn’t listen.
When Roxanna kissed him again and started taking off his clothes, the need he had fought so hard to hold back came rushing back stronger than before.
Right now, he wanted nothing more than to bite her, mark her, and fill her with his seed.
But Luan still tried to cling to the remnants of his sanity that were beginning to erode.
"Don’t be scared," Roxanna whispered between their kisses. "I will help you."
Since Luan’s legs and arms were still bound by the vines, he wasn’t able to do the deed. That was why Roxanna had to sit on his lap.
Moments later, Roxanna slowly settled onto his lap, her knees resting on either side of his hips. She could feel how hard he was beneath her and how the warmth of his body spread between them.
She leaned in and kissed him again, trying to prepare both her heart and her body. Unfortunately, Luan couldn’t help her in his current state, so she had to prepare herself on her own.
Taking a slow breath, she slipped out of her clothes and carefully set them beside them. Her fingers moved to her body first, gently caressing herself before slowly moving lower.
She was already wet, but it still wasn’t enough.
[I want him to touch me too,] Roxanna admitted to herself. [He looks so dangerous... so why does my body react even more whenever I imagine him being rough with me?]
She couldn’t understand what was happening to her. Maybe something really was wrong with her.
She kept touching herself, trying to open her body more for him. Her fingers slid deeper, spreading the wetness, but the ache inside her only grew stronger.
She looked at Luan. His eyes were dark, almost wild, fixed on every small movement of her hand.
His chest rose and fell hard. The vines around his wrists creaked as he pulled against them without thinking.
[I want his hands on me...] she thought again, biting her lower lip. [I want him to touch me the way he wants to... even if it hurts a little.]
The thought made her face burn. She had never felt this way before. Wanting someone so much that the danger only made her wetter felt wrong, and yet her body didn’t care.
Roxanna shifted closer, pressing her bare chest against his.
She kissed him deeper this time, letting her free hand wrap around his manhood. She stroked him slowly, feeling how thick and hot he was, how he twitched in her grip.
"Luan..." she whispered against his lips. "I need a little more time. Just... stay with me."
She guided the tip of him between her legs and rubbed it against herself, coating him with her wetness.
Every time the head pressed against her entrance, her hips moved on their own, wanting to lower her hips down.
But she held herself back because it still didn’t feel like she was wet enough.
One of her hands teased her own nipples, rolling them gently between her fingers one after the other, sometimes tugging at them until they grew hard. At the same time, her other hand kept rubbing her clitoris, trying to make herself even wetter.
Her eyelids were half-closed as she looked into Luan’s emerald eyes. Her gaze was filled with desire and tenderness, stirring something inside Luan that struggled to break free.
[Why do I want him to break free?] she wondered.
The thought alone made her heart race, and she wasn’t sure if she was more excited by the answer... or afraid of it.
Luan’s breathing grew heavier. His eyes locked on hers, filling with darkness. The vines around his wrists creaked as his arms tensed.
He pulled at his hands once, and the green ropes dug into his skin, but he didn’t stop.
He pulled again, this time even harder, and to everyone’s surprise, he managed to break free from the knotted bindings Zeir had made.
Roxanna’s eyes widened as she saw it. "Luan—"
Before she could finish, Luan covered her mouth with his hand. In one powerful motion, he ripped the remaining vines from his legs and sat upright, one arm wrapped firmly around her waist.
Within seconds, he lifted her effortlessly and dropped her onto the bed. She let out a soft wince, but she had no desire to struggle or pull away.
"Roxanna..." His voice was rough, almost trembling. "It hurts... I can’t hold back anymore."
He slowly lowered his hand from her lips before capturing them in a deep kiss. The kiss was full of hunger and desire, leaving Roxanna with little room to think about anything else.
