Chapter 448: Mr. Quincy, Please Control Yourself
Thankfully, the plane was delayed by two hours, or Claire Sinclair would have missed her 9:00 AM flight.
The aftermath of giving The Great Demon King Quincy the go-ahead was always the same: a sore waist, an aching back, and legs so weak she could barely stand.
Thinking back on every little detail from last night, Claire Sinclair had the distinct impression that a brief separation was more passionate than any honeymoon. ’That guy...’
’Never mind. It’s too embarrassing to even think about.’
The next morning, Adrian Quincy drove her to the airport himself.
Just before she left, Adrian Quincy couldn’t bear his reluctance to part with his wife. Under the watchful eyes of the public, he fiercely captured her lips, kissing her until she was dizzy and light-headed.
Passersby stopped to watch, and some even tried to take out their phones to snap pictures, but they were stopped by Aiden Howkins and his men.
Watching the passionately-in-love couple’s high-profile display of affection, the onlookers couldn’t help but comment:
"I’ve never been so jealous of a woman in my life. Claire Sinclair is so happy."
"They seem so deeply in love..."
"Sigh, I’m dying of envy."
The crowd of onlookers grew, and so did the noise.
As her senses slowly returned, Claire Sinclair hurriedly raised her hands and pushed him away. "That’s enough, I have to go in!"
Adrian Quincy pressed his thumb against her slightly swollen lips, his voice dry and hoarse. "Claire, call me the moment you land. I need to hear your voice."
"I don’t want to."
"Why not?"
Claire Sinclair whispered, "Because I’m afraid I’ll miss you even more."
The words had barely left her lips when he lost all control, pulling her head toward him and capturing her lips once more.
"Mmph..." Claire Sinclair tilted her head back, struggling to keep up with his rhythm when an announcement suddenly echoed through the airport. Her flight was boarding!
Claire Sinclair had no choice but to push him away forcefully. "Mr. Quincy, please, control yourself!"
A smug smile, like a cat that got the cream, played on Adrian Quincy’s lips. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered, his voice for her ears only, "I really want you."
Claire Sinclair’s face flushed, and she subconsciously took a step back.
Just then, Adrian Quincy suddenly pulled out his phone. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her into his embrace.
Claire Sinclair was about to ask what he was doing when she saw him open his phone’s camera app. She was instantly overjoyed.
"Are we taking a picture?"
"It won’t be easy to video call you, so I can look at our pictures instead," Adrian Quincy explained.
Claire Sinclair stole a glance at him and muttered under her breath, "And here I thought you’d go your whole life without ever taking a selfie..."
Before she could finish, he suddenly leaned down and pecked her on the lips, pressing the shutter at the same instant.
Claire Sinclair blushed and didn’t dare to say another word.
He then pulled her into several different poses, snapping one picture after another.
Deciding they weren’t good enough, he then shoved his phone at Aiden Howkins to take the pictures for them...
Claire Sinclair glanced at the time and saw she was about to be late. Steeling herself, she said, "I really have to go now! Goodbye, Mr. Quincy!" With that, she turned and bolted.
Adrian Quincy watched her go through the security checkpoint, his gaze lingering until she was completely out of sight.
The few subordinates beside him also stared until the girl’s figure had vanished completely before shifting their gazes back to their master.
Aiden Howkins asked, "Young Master Quincy, shall we head back now?"
"Let’s go." Adrian Quincy turned and left the airport.
After a two-and-a-half-hour flight, Claire Sinclair landed safely in Scylla City.
She remembered that The Great Demon King Quincy had told her to call him as soon as she got off the plane.
Claire Sinclair turned on her phone, ready to call him and let him know she’d arrived safely. But the moment it powered on, she received several photos from him on WeChat.
They were the photos of them at the airport—some of them kissing, others of them hugging and cuddling.
Her face burned as she looked at them, and she quickly sent him a reply: You can’t post these photos anywhere!
Adrian Quincy: Already posted them on Weibo.
Huh???
