Claudia and I, talking about not having any other love in our hands and ruining our spare time, the knight Elgnard came to invite us for dinner.

By that time the fog and rain had diminished and the sunshine was visible beyond the walls outside the window. In Cardiac territory, the sun falls early due to the blockage of the Black Mountains (Amon Nour), but the Great Plains extend to the east of this Yugfena Castle Fort, so even at dinner it still seems bright enough outside.

"Are you unhappy with the room, Viscount Cardia?"

"I won't sit down. Thank you."

"Right. The Cardians seem to like the room they gave us. You're a lot of soldiers that I don't think are mainland leaders. When I used to call in troops from other territories, they started making noise the first day."

You're paying attention, and Elgnard is talking to me about something as he walks down the hall in an unfamiliar way.

While hammering and moderately pinching the conversation, I noticed Claudia following me behind me staring at the man lightly in a superior mood. I have no particular admiration or thoughtfulness for a knight, but I'll mimic her and somehow observe the knight's man softly from below.

Around the age, above the Mordon Border Uncle, is it about the same age as Gunter or a little younger? With a rugged face through his nostrils, he does have the face of King Einschvark Lieutenant, whom he saw in the House of Lords. My tall, disappointingly muscular body looks up like a pillar or something like this.

I'm wearing a knight outfit that's not a courtesy today, and it's black overall. The colors given by the king to the Knights of Fort Yugfena were black and silver, and Elgnard was the only one to see the Knights crest embroidered in silver thread on his cape.

"... the black costume looks tight"

"Hmm? Oh. That's true. I feel tight every morning when I put my sleeves through my uniform."

To the solitary groaning I let go, Elgnard answered that with a serious look on his cloak. Then he laughs nigga, "You'll look good," he says in a voice somewhere good at it.

The impression I had on this man was that he was a tea man.

That's how the dining room for you was, the room that was passed through was decorated from a painting in the hallway, reminiscent of the house of Count Teresia in the King's capital.

Carpets are laid on the floor, wallpapers are hung on the walls, and chandeliers are lit for proof. The windows were hung with curtains made of plenty of cloth that looked tall to see the velvet, covering and hiding the inner windows of the boneless iron plaid.

Amongst the dining halls, they are so ornamentally decorated that you will likely forget that this is the Castle Fort of Black Iron. My eyes are going to tickle. I don't like putting chandeliers in my sight, I lay my eyes down whenever I can.

Several people are already seated at the long table placed in the center of the large dining room, and the lowest seat is a Gunter hardened by a kachikochi. Sitting in the upper seat are Uncle King Einschvark, his son and two thoughtful men. The idea that they were all black knights costumes that resembled Elgnard's stuff, it was like a funeral, etc., passed a corner of my head.

The actual Arxia funeral will be dressed in white, not black, so wearing black is a funeral in a previous life.

Oh, well done, Viscount Cardia.

The deepest king Einschvark, Uncle Tsuruga, stood up and spread his arms. The face of the first decently relative grand knight of magnificence was marked by a soft smile very similar to that of Elgnard, rather than by a harsh expression as seen in the House of Lords.

"As a thank you to Cardia's fifty brave soldiers, and as a welcome to them, I was allowed to prepare a meal that was rude but small. I hope you enjoy it."

"I know it would be an honor for you to have dinner seats like this."

Uncle King Einschvark glances softly at him as if he were a well-made grandson.

Elgnard led me to a seat next to his left, and also pulled a chair to Claudia, where he himself reached the end of the opposite seat and began a gradual pre-meal begging for forgiveness.

"I beg for our forgiveness for all the lives that have become meals so that we may live longer. May the balance of Kusha carry the heart of atonement of sin and equivalence."

This is, well, kind of a tough "take it" kind of thing.

In neighboring countries that face the other side right across the walls, they say, "Thank you very much for God's meal." That spirit unfortunately has been incomprehensible from previous lives, so I think about it every time I complain about this prayer that I'm glad I wasn't born into a neighboring country.

"I'm sorry after I've begged for forgiveness, but may I introduce you to those present before you eat?"

"Absolutely."

As I snorted, Uncle King Einschvark pointed his hand at the man sitting right next to him. The color of the hair is similar to that of Elgnard but slightly gray mixed, a more akin middle-aged man with a face to King Einschvark than Elgnard. He glanced softly at me.

"It's Volmarf. He is the first son and head of the Knights of Fort Yugfena. Then,"

The man sitting in the next seat was somewhat of a beautiful looking man, smiling just like Uncle King Einschvark. Only he is somewhat more luxurious with either body and seems poor compared to the other three.

"This is my second son's wee graph. I have a seat in the Knights, but I'm not very good at martial arts, so I treat him as a staff officer. You don't have a very tough look like my wife, so why don't you be so afraid?

I noticed the muscles on my cheeks unconsciously solidifying at a laugh that shook easily. I remember how Elgnard looked when I walked down the aisle, being a parent and child who cared for me in detail but was unwilling to hide, and my cheeks just loosen a little.

"That's Elgnard over there. You exchanged words with Viscount Cardia before me, you sloppy son."

"Chi, Father..."

"It's a joke. I heard it was a child raised by the Earl of Teresia, so it's true that I'm looking forward to it."

That's what Uncle Einschvark said. Ha-ha-ha! and laughed with pleasure.

At the same time, his eldest son Volmarf, who was pulling his mouth together into a single letter, squirts. Weegraf and Elgnard laughed couscous at it.

My cheeks loosened completely this time to that appearance. Gunter, who was solidified by Claudia and tension, also laughs at some point out of touch.

The Einschvark family, who somehow thought they were all sturdy, is quite a soothing family. I was certainly relieved that I did not have to be scorned with the daughter of the spiteful Cardiac while I had to be concerned about the invasion of my neighbour.
