Ever since Vivienne took over Octaveo Pharmaceutical, she had become known as the company’s beautiful yet untouchable ice queen.

Surrounded by countless achievements, she carried an aura that made people hesitate even to speak to her, let alone ask her out.

In the eyes of the younger generation, she had long since reached the same level as their fathers.

Yet this very woman had openly announced her relationship in front of everyone today.

It was completely unexpected.

Many people even looked at Luca Hale with sympathy.

Yes, sympathy.

No one believed Luca could possibly handle someone as formidable as Vivienne.

Even Austin Silva and the others felt their friend was being far too bold. With Vivienne’s strong personality, how could Luca possibly have an easy time dating her?

On top of that, they all knew there was another breathtaking beauty hidden away in Luca’s private life. Naomi Monroe, the famous livestreamer, was every bit as stunning as Vivienne.

Thinking about it made them genuinely worry for him.

’Luca... do you really have to live this dangerously?’

’You’re walking several tightropes at once. Aren’t you afraid they’ll all snap beneath you?’

Luca noticed the strange looks but couldn’t figure out what everyone was thinking. Since no one said anything, he simply ignored them.

After greeting Austin and the others, he allowed Vivienne to take his hand and lead him toward the apartment building nearby.

...

The building was primarily white, elegant without being extravagant. It stood only about ten stories tall, but its footprint covered a surprisingly large area.

The moment they stepped inside, a tall, lean middle-aged man in a neatly tailored suit walked over with quick, confident strides.

"Vivienne," he greeted warmly. "Everything has already been prepared."

Vivienne smiled.

"Thank you for your hard work, Uncle Oscar."

Oscar waved his hand dismissively.

"It wasn’t any trouble. We’re all working for you anyway. If you ever need anything, just let me know."

As he spoke, his eyes drifted to the hands Luca and Vivienne were holding.

His smile widened with obvious satisfaction before he turned to Luca.

"So this is Luca Hale."

He nodded several times.

"Very handsome indeed."

Luca smiled politely.

"You’re too kind, Uncle Oscar."

Since Vivienne addressed him that way, Luca naturally followed suit.

"Good. Very good."

Oscar clapped his hands together, his eyes filled with nostalgia.

"If your father were still here..."

"He’d definitely be happy for you."

Vivienne fell silent.

Oscar had once been her father’s personal driver.

Long before Vivienne was born, he had already been part of the family.

He had watched her take her very first steps, driven her to and from school, and witnessed her grow from a lively little girl into the capable chairwoman she was today.

To him, Vivienne was almost like his own daughter.

Over the years, however, he had never seen her show any interest in a man.

That had always been one of his greatest regrets.

Now, seeing her standing hand in hand with Luca, he could tell at a glance how much she cared about him.

Hearing Oscar mention her father, Vivienne quietly lowered her head.

"He definitely would..."

Her voice was soft.

Almost fragile.

Luca immediately understood what she was thinking.

Without saying a word, he tightened his grip around her hand.

His warmth silently flowed into hers.

Vivienne looked up at him.

A faint smile appeared on her lips.

At that moment, she wasn’t the cold and commanding chairwoman.

She wasn’t the teasing enchantress either.

She was simply a daughter who still missed her father.

Oscar checked his watch before smiling helplessly.

"Enough chatting."

"The race starts in half an hour."

"You’d better get changed."

Vivienne nodded obediently.

"Alright."

"See you later, Uncle Oscar."

Luca also smiled.

"We’ll head upstairs first."

The two entered the elevator hand in hand.

As it slowly rose, Vivienne quietly shared the story behind the racetrack.

The East Mountain Pass Racetrack had been her father’s twenty-fifth birthday present to her.

Just one year later...

He was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

A few months later he lost his life to it.

Because Vivienne loved driving herself and never needed a chauffeur, Oscar had volunteered to manage the racetrack after her father’s passing.

Only then did Luca truly understand.

No wonder Vivienne treated Oscar with such respect.

In the company she was the decisive chairwoman.

Here, she was simply a grateful young woman honoring someone who had watched over her since childhood.

...

The top floor housed Vivienne’s private suite.

She unlocked the door and led Luca inside.

The room was spacious and elegantly decorated.

Sunlight poured through the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, filling every corner with warm light.

Beyond the glass, the mountains stretched into the distance, while the observation tower on the opposite peak stood proudly against the blue sky.

The view was breathtaking.

Luca couldn’t help smiling.

"The scenery here is incredible."

Vivienne’s eyes curved into a smile.

"Do you like it?"

"If you do, I’ll ask Uncle Oscar to reserve a room here just for you."

Luca shook his head with a grin.

"That’s not necessary."

He looked straight into her beautiful eyes before slipping an arm around her slender waist.

"We can simply share yours."

With a gentle tug, he pulled her into his embrace until their bodies fit snugly together.

Vivienne laughed softly and wrapped both arms around his neck.

"Luca..."

"We came here to race."

"If you keep this up, we’ll waste time."

Luca smiled mischievously.

"I’m already practicing."

"Practicing?" Vivienne tilted her head, amusement dancing in her eyes.

"What exactly are you practicing?"

"The racing line."

He chuckled.

"Learning every curve before the real race."

Vivienne burst into laughter.

"Oh?"

"So you’re saying you’re quite the driver?"

She slowly licked her lips, a playful sparkle flashing through her beautiful eyes.

Luca raised an eyebrow.

"Haven’t you experienced my driving skills already?"

The distance between them disappeared as they leaned closer.

Their lips met in a brief, affectionate kiss.

...

A few minutes later, Vivienne emerged from the bedroom after changing clothes.

Her long crimson hair had been tied into a neat ponytail, making her look energetic and capable.

She wore a fitted racing suit that hugged her figure while giving her an unmistakably professional appearance.

Although the outfit concealed many of her graceful curves, Luca still found himself staring.

He couldn’t help smiling to himself.

’She’s unbelievable.’

’Whether she’s dressed in an elegant evening gown, a business suit, or racing gear...’

’She looks stunning in absolutely everything.’
