Instant Death

Two stories. Almost. I was wondering if I should tell you.

Over the course of a few days through Garra Canyon, Tannourachi Chika and Takafari Night Mist reached the Meld Plains.

They came all the way here in an armored car.

And he stopped in the narrow between the canyon and the plain, staring at the plain he was about to head to.

"It's not what I thought..."

Looking around the plain from the driver's seat, Chichika blurred.

Chika thought of a scenic plain with green carpets.

Indeed, the Meld Plains are beautiful. But it was an unusual beauty.

Everything here is like a crystal.

Grassy things growing on the ground, trees growing by the way, lizard-like creatures crawling on the ground, buildings in some sort of settlement. Everything was sharp, shaped like crystals.

Looking up at the sky, they also had something like a net made of crystals there, and the sun's light had been scattered.

And the outlook was bad. It's supposed to be a plain, but I'm not sure how far away it is. It was because of the reflection of light in the crystals and because of the thinness and the appearance of light.

"Also known as the Crystal Plains, they say"

I guess the night fog isn't as surprising as Chika is because she knew what was going on in the land.

"I guess I should say the alias first! What, Takahiro knows that?

"I think I also got that explanation when I got a map from a concierge person"

I also say it without the appearance of bad fog at night. I reckoned that Chika was not that big of a deal either.

"Does having something village-like mean people live there?

"If you could live there, you wouldn't be a normal person."

Everything is sharp. It would be very impossible for a living human being to live.

"Okay. Maybe it's people like crystalline humans who live there. Look, there's something doggy walking around, but so is that."

I see something moving around the settlement. It's a quadrupedal animal shaped by crystals. From form and motion, he looked like a dog.

"You don't even feel like you're going to attack me. If I were a dog, I'd be glad I didn't want to kill you."

The dog-like creature seems to be aware of the armored car that came all of a sudden and the Chichikas inside, but that seems just out of curiosity.

"You like dogs?

"I keep it. I'm already a grandfather, so I'm a little worried."

"We have dogs, too. Your sister loves animals, so she's got a lot more than just dogs."

"Um. I have Akita dogs in the Tannoura family for generations. Tannoura Liu also has the art of fighting dogs!

And this one was revealed between the two of them, and said:

"... the trick of biting and circling on that neck muscle, your sister didn't plant it..."

After all, Chika thought it was just something my sister taught her such moves from insanity, but apparently she was doing it at home.

"So. Nothing has come to talk about dogs. There's a pretty nasty vibe going on here, so be careful!

"I'm too fluffy to be careful?

'Right. Or is it a curse? Don't fill the area. Well, it's a level I can handle.'

"Takahi-kun. Also, didn't you kill something on your own?

Night fog has previously accidentally killed its source in response to anger. Chichika was anxious to see if it would be a similar case this time.

"I've been careful ever since. And the curse? I'm not sure where it came from. It feels blurry, and I don't think it's dangerous right now."

Then Chichika convinced me that it would be okay.

"Whatever! I just have to move on, I wonder if I can drive through this."

"It's an armored car. Aren't you strong for punk?

"I wonder if it's possible to proceed while killing obstacles in the direction of progress. Well, I suppose it's enough to crush something grassy."

Night fog is not so short as killing anything that gets in the way. I'm worried about it. However, some of its common sense differed slightly from Chika Chichi's.

"If this is really grass, do you feel like it won't grow again afterwards?

"If it's grass, I think it'll grow again if the seeds take root. Only grass kills."

"Um, it feels like the plains aren't even that big when I see them on the map, and I guess I should go all at once. It's not like they're in a canyon."

The railway line through the canyon also runs longitudinally on this plain as it is. We should have been able to reach Wang Du if we had found the tracks and walked side by side.

If we were to avoid the plains, it would be quite a long way around.

'But. I don't feel like I can barely make it through something like this, do I?

"Well, if this is the game, it means the next stage in the canyon, right here"

"I guess if we go from here to the right, the tracks. Looks like some of it's like a station."

Night fog glances at the map of Chichika and says: The plains are vast to the east and west, but not as large as the north and south. If I drove for an hour, I would have been able to soak up the street.

"Then why don't you go"

The engine of the armored car starts and starts running smoothly. Chichika's driving had become really familiar.

The grass that is crystallizing is lightly crushed and scattered whether it is because the night fog is dealing with it. You don't seem to have to worry about punk.

As I ran relying on the map, I could see the tracks right away.

Exactly. They haven't crystallized around the tracks. Station-like buildings also exhibit some signs of crystallization, but the prototype is retained.

"Should I stop by the station? It feels special around here, and I'd love to if I could ask what's going on... is it treating you like we're asking?

Seems to be targeted by the wise, but Lyota, the sage's squire, did not attempt to capture the Chichikas. We're not sure how we're being treated in this world.

"I couldn't help but be there for you. We're going to King's Capital, but you're still running away and hiding there?

The night fog didn't seem to care much that we might be being chased.

Then Chichika and Chichichika also decided to be prepared.

Pull the armored car over to the station and stop.

The station building was a small building. This is the place. I guess very few people get on and off the train here.

They got out of the car.

"Cold! What's happening all of a sudden?"

Chichika, who felt a sudden change in temperature, raised her voice unexpectedly.

It was a temperate climate until I got here, so I guess it's due to the environment in the area.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the climate, but this land full of crystals looked cold somewhere.

"It doesn't seem like it's made of ice. Let's just get inside."

Night fog opens the door to the station building.

As soon as I came in, it was in the waiting room. Heating equipment was kept in the centre, so that wooden benches surrounded it.

There is also a door across from the entrance, so I guess there are tickets and platforms on that side.

There's nobody here.

"Doesn't that mean a deserted station... It's heated."

"Well, let's take a look inside,"

That's what Chika thought, and the back door opened.

It was a young man in uniform who came in, and the condition was unusual.

He's holding his abdomen with a pale face, but he's bleeding to such an extent that he can't stop.

The foothold is unreliable and the gaze is not fixed as fluttering. Obviously, it's a serious injury.

"Huh? Is that okay!?"

Chichika rushed over, but the night fog grabbed her shoulder and stopped her.

Bread!

Dry bursting sound.

It's a gunshot. Chichika soon found out because I've heard it many times at my parents' house.

The young man fell and his blood flooded the floor. He must have been shot in the heart from behind. It was instant death.

"I thought you got away with it, huh? Sorry to hear that!

"Shit! You're my loser. Let's see. I wish I was full of shit!

"You know, a belly shot won't kill you any time soon."

"But you can do it alone. You were supposed to help me when I showed you to your buddies?

"If that's not the hope of living, you won't be desperate, and you won't be betting."

And five men dressed like military uniforms came into the waiting room slightly.

Everyone had a pistol in their hand. Is it a weapon developed in this world, a form of gun that Chichika doesn't know.

"Oh? I was just talking about being tight here. We're lucky, aren't we?

Immediately the men noticed the Chichikas.

The gaze of the men concentrates on Chichika. It's an evil gaze that has been directed many times since I came to this world.

"Die."

When the night fog said so, the men in military uniform fell instantly. I guess he died with his face on as if he didn't know what happened.

"Er, what can I do about this situation..."

I couldn't keep up with the sudden development, and Chichika blurred.

"The person who was shot is already dead, and there's nothing you can do. It doesn't look like we're the reason."

Though it was said that he had pushed it away for a long time, Chichika could not blame it. Because I have a similar feeling.

Seems cold, but my emotions didn't really move when a stranger came out of nowhere died.

"But this is kind of refreshing. Shouldn't you have checked to see what you meant?

"But these guys were going to shoot me instantly, so I didn't seem to be able to afford to listen."

Night fog can detect intent to kill or danger. There seems to be strength and weakness in the threat, but in the present case you must have decided it was imminent.

"Bye, like I did before, killing and threatening one person at a time...... something is getting so black, me! Without what we're talking about!

"Around not moving at all in this situation, as a successor to Tannoura, you're as reliable as you can be!

also this one wore arms and was nodding.

"Uh... I don't know if I should say it any more..."

Chichika has become impotent after being evaluated as if he were magnificent.

Night fog was looking into the fallen men, so I didn't seem to have heard Chichika speak.

"Let's get the gun. And Kokosan knows a lot about this, right?

'Uhm. The mechanism won't be so different from what I know, and it'll be similar in use'

"I feel like I saw it, I don't seem to have as much luggage as I did, so maybe there's something like a main unit. I don't think anyone lives around here."

"Don't you mean Mr. Wang Du's soldier?

When it became a place near here where soldiers seemed to be, it was the king's capital that immediately came to mind.

"I can't say anything because I don't really understand this country or the Wang Capital or anything like that. Whatever it is, we better get moving."

Night fog is about to leave the station with a quick cut.

Chichika didn't mind wondering if she had killed some annoying people.

By the time I was through the crystallized zone, I could see a huge wall of walls.

Its walls, high and long, continue everywhere as far as we can see. If that's the king's capital, it's a lot of space.

"I wonder if it's called a castle city. It seems like it's too dark and inconvenient when it's on the wall."

Night fog is doing that to relax in the passenger seat, but Chichika didn't feel that way.

"Sorry. I thought I was getting used to it, but this is a real pull..."

I was going to try not to see it, but I still wonder and look at the back mirror over and over again.

There, a pile of corpses was built.

"Whose word was it for a killer if you kill one, and a hero if you kill thousands? In accordance with that, does the kid mean he's a hero?

Not thousands of soldiers had fallen on the plains.

Chichika and the others who left the station drove armored cars along the tracks.

Then came the men in the same military uniform they had killed at the station, attacking the armoured car.

Naturally, I intercepted the fog at night, but no matter how much I kill, the soldiers are revealed next to next.

Because of the lack of clarity, he drove forcefully, and as a result, some army-like group was destroyed.

It was an anomaly such as attacking until it was completely destroyed, but the Chichikas did not know why.

"It's worse to attack me. Besides, it's not like I'm spending time here. The guys in my class may already be on King's Landing."

It seems that there was a disturbance in the flow of time around the tower that was sealing the demons, and it's taking a lot of time to get here.

The train seemed to have restored operation, and Chichikas had witnessed it pass several times. If he had been on it, his classmates might have already arrived in the King's Capital.

"I'm getting a little sleepy and I'm going to sleep"

That said, the night fog immediately began to take a nap.
