"Divine Dragon Might!"

Violette’s left eyes shone as it transformed into a pure golden eye of a dragon.

Her fingernails elongated into curved claws as her canine teeth extended into fangs.

She had activated her bloodline.

Her energy surged, her strength exploded upward, and the golden dragon coiling around her body doubled in size.

"ROOOOOOAR!"

Violette flashed suddenly vanished, reappearing behind Dexter and launched a devastating downward kick.

Dexter sidestepped effortlessly. The kick slammed into the ground.

"BOOM!"

The floor trembled violently but didn’t explode down the steel been made of special material.

Violette spun and released another kick, this time a horizontal sweep aimed at Dexter’s midsection.

"Bang!"

Dexter raised his arm and received the kick on his forearm.

"Bang!"

Dexter was actually forced to take a step backward. But it was actually just a single step!

But Dexter simply smiled.

"It’s quite impressive you manage to push me backward," he said calmly, "But in the same realm, I am invincible."

The instant the words left his mouth, his body flashed as he picked out with intense speed.

"Boom!"

The wind shrieked as his fist tore through the air as he punched directly at Violette’s chest.

In that instant, Violett’s face changed drastically and she quickly brought up her hand in x shape manner to block.

The phantom image of a dragon around her suddenly wrapped its wings around Violette to protect her.

"BOOM!" "CRACK—"

The golden barrier made of wings immediately shattered like it was made of glass as it slammed directly against Violett’s crossed arms.

"KA-BOOM!"

Her arms was forcefully pressed against her chest as her shirt exploded from the force revealing sport bra holding two massive breasts.

"Whoosh!"

Like a leaf in an hurricane, she was blasted backwards with an extreme force.

She slammed into the far steel wall with a deafening ’bang’ as she bounced back and landed on the ground.

Dexter slowly pulled his fist back, a small smile on his face. He looked across the arena at her crumpled form.

"Are you convinced?"

Violette looked up at him, panting heavily.

Her golden dragon eye still blazed. Her claws were still extended. Her chest rose up and down rapidly, and a thin line of blood traced from the corner of her lip.

Fury!

A deep surge of anger ripped through her like a hurricane.

Suddenly, a pressure wave of pressure spread out of her like head.

Her suppressed energy shattered its restraints, climbing from Third Stage Superhuman to Fourth... Fifth... Sixth... Ninth... Twelfth...

The barrier between realms cracked.

"Ultra Realm."

The moment her energy touched the Ultra Realm threshold, Dexter’s face changed.

’She’s really angry over a spar and willing to go all out?’

Dexter’s gaze hardened. He began channeling mana into his bloodline, preparing to activate Scorching Fury—

Then, just as suddenly as it had erupted, the pressure stopped.

Violette closed her eyes and ghe golden dragon pupil in her left eye retreated, the color fading back to violet. Her claws retracted, shrinking back into normal fingernails. Her fangs withdrew. The golden dragon coiling around her body dissolved into sparkling motes of light that scattered and faded.

She stood there, expressionless, staring at Dexter for a long, silent moment.

Then, without a single word, she turned, walked to the side of the arena, picked up her bag, and headed toward the restroom.

Dexter blinked.

He stared at the closed restroom door, stunned.

Then he shook his head and let out a quiet laugh.

"Like granddaughter, like grandfather," he muttered to himself.

It was exactly the same thing her grandfather had done.

When Dexter had won their bet, learning the Grand Cosmos Scripture in a single day, the old man had simply walked away without saying a word.

Now the granddaughter was doing the exact same thing. Beaten in a spar, her pride stinging, she had retreated to the washroom without uttering a single word.

Dexter shrugged. He would let her compose herself. Pride was a fragile thing, and he had just shattered hers rather thoroughly.

He looked down.

His right boot had exploded during the fight, most likely from the accumulated shockwaves of their fist exchanges.

The leather had torn apart, the sole had separated, and his sock was poking through a hole at the front of the boot.

Dexter face-palmed with his free hand.

"Seriously?"

He shook his head, kicked off the remnants of the destroyed boot, and limped slightly as he walked to the sideline to wait for Violette.

Luckily, a pair of disposable sandals sat neatly arranged on a shelf near the relaxation zone—courtesy of the training center, presumably for combatants whose footwear hadn’t survived their sparring sessions.

Dexter slipped them on. They were slightly tighter than his size, the thin rubber pressing uncomfortably against his toes, but they were infinitely better than walking barefoot through the city.

He limped back to the arena and waited.

Five minutes passed, ten. No sign of Violette.

’What’s she doing in there?’

Dexter frowned and crossed his arms, staring at the closed restroom door with impatience. He had won the spar and he wanted the money she owned him.

He had no intention of standing around all afternoon waiting for a sore loser to finish sulking in the bathroom.

He frowned and was prepared to go knock.

The restroom door clicked open.

Violette stepped out.

She had changed into a fresh outfit, a simple white blouse and dark slacks, her violet hair now loose and falling past her shoulders.

Her expression was carefully composed, the mask of cold indifference firmly back in place.

She looked at Dexter. She seemed to want to speak, but hesitated, her tongue darting out to wet her lips. Then, finally, she spoke.

"How about lunch?"

Dexter shook his head immediately. "No. I just want to get home."

Violette hissed softly through her teeth. "If you want your money, I’d suggest you come with me."

Dexter frowned, his eyes narrowing. "You’re holding the bet hostage over dinner?"

Violette shrugged, a hint of smugness returning. "You won already. The money is yours. The least you could do is fulfill one of my wishes before I hand it over."
