Chapter 109 | Draconic Might!
She opened her violet eyes. "Done. Are you ready?"
Dexter blinked in surprise.
She was actually able to precisely control her energy, suppressing her cultivation from Ultra-rank all the way down to a third level of the Superhuman Realm.
Dexter nodded. "All right. I’m ready."
The girl’s expression turned serious as she said with indifference.
"I would advise you to take this seriously, because I will. This will determine whether you have the strength to keep the key."
Dexter frowned. "I thought we talked about this. I’m not giving you the key."
The girl smiled coldy.
"When did the weak have the rights to give orders?"
A chuckle rang out from her mouth. "If you were the same strength as I am, I would have left it with you willingly. But you’re simply too weak for your opinion to matter."
She paused, letting the words sink in.
"Taking the key from you is as easy as snatching lollipop from a baby. Instead, I decided to amuse my self with this duel. Let’s see whether you have the strength to keep it."
Dexter’s expression hardened.
He had been treating this spar as a friendly exchange, a chance to test his abilities against a stronger opponent.
But she was actually threatening to snatch the key by force if he couldn’t stop her.
His gaze turned cold.
"Since you’ve reduced your strength," he said, his voice turned flat and dangerous, "I hope you don’t hold back. Because I won’t either."
The girl’s lips curled upward. "Good."
"Can I know the name of the person I’m going to defeat?" Dexter asked.
The girl’s smile widened.
"My name is Violette."
The instant the last syllable left her lips, she blurred.
"BOOM!"
The air around the place she had been staying previously suddenly exploded by the sheer amount of speed.
One moment she was standing twenty meters away. The next, she was directly in front of Dexter as her fist shrieked through the air, punching directly at Dexter’s chest with all the strength of a level 3 Superhuman expert!
Her fist moved with the speed of a bullet train as it slammed into him Like a sledge hammer.
"BOOM!"
A massive explosion erupted from the point of impact as shockwaves blasted outward in every direction, the force of her movement catching up with her in a devastating secondary detonation.
The steel walls trembled slightly as the shockwave from the punch slammed into it.
However, despite all of these impressive feat, Dexter didn’t move a single muscle.
He stood exactly where he had been, hands in his pockets as Violett’s fist collided against with chest.
His body had absorbed the full force of the blow and transferred it straight down through his legs into the ground beneath him.
Violette’s eyes widened in shock as she stared at Dexter.
It felt as though she had punched a punched a mountain instead of a human being!
The impact had traveled back up her own arm, vibrating through her bones, making her uncomfortable.
Dexter indifferently looked down at the fist still pressed against his chest, then he raised his gaze to Violette’s face.
"Is that it?" he asked indifferently.
Violette’s face changed drastically. She flashed backward in an instant, putting five meters of distance between them in a snap.
Violett’s expression turned extremely serious as she started at Dexter as though she was seeing him for the first time.
Her brow furrowed deeply.
*What the hell was that?*
What kind of Third Stage Superhuman had a body this dense?
She couldn’t believe Dexter’s body was that ridiculous.
Dexter smirked.
The Eternal Buddha Endurance Scripture, Demon Tempering Body and the Chaos Flame Demon Bloodline had forged his physique into something terrifying.
Dexter tilted his head, a faint, dismissive sound escaping his lips. "Do you want to try again?"
Violette’s eyes turned cold.
"You truly wish to die."
Her pride wouldn’t allow her to accept what had just happened.
"Bang!"
She vanished again, reappearing behind Dexter in a blur that would have been invisible to anyone without enhanced senses.
Her waist twisted as she unleashed a vicious kick directly at the back of his neck.
"Bang!"
The kick connected. Dexter’s neck tilted an inch but he remained standing and unmoved like a mountain!
Even at this point, he still hadn’t taken his hands out of his pockets!
It was truly insane!
Dexter slowly turned his head, the motion itself pushing Violette’s foot back, forcing her to retract the kick
He looked at her over his shoulder, his expression completely unbothered.
"I didn’t think Ultra-rank expert would be this weak."
"You—!"
Her face twisted anger and her violet eyes blazed with fury as she retreated backward, her fists clenching at her sides.
She had bragged two seconds ago she would defeat him in three moves.
Right now, she had struck twice and yet her opponent had barely moved!
As an ultra rank expert, her body should naturally be stronger than a Superhuman rank brat. Even if she surpressed her strength, there’s no way to surpress durability.
But yet, her body was actually weaker than a Third Stage Superhuman.
Someone she had told that he was too weak.
The humiliation burned through her veins like magma.
"Draconic Body!"
She growled as she activated her talent.
"ROOOOOOOOAAAR!"
Instantly, a phantom image of a golden dragon erupted from her body as it roared like a true ancient beast.
"Down!"
Violette stomped her feet as she burst forward with speed. The golden dragon behind her surged ahead of her, its massive maw opening wide as it descended upon Dexter along with Violett’s fist.
Dexter raised an eyebrow. The pressure emanating from the dragon was intense.
He couldn’t tell if it was a bloodline technique or an innate talent, because the energy waves it radiated blended seamlessly with Violette’s own mana signature.
But even after seeing this, he simply let out an indifferent snort.
"Reckless struggle."
He only took out one of his hands out of his pockets and punched out with the second fist.
"KA-BOOM!"
The explosion was deafening as a massive shockwave erupted like a thunderclap detonating inside a sealed chamber.
The steel walls groaned as they absorbed the brunt of the force as the wind trembled viciously.
Violette’s eyes widened when she saw she didn’t even manage to push Dexter an inch backward!
"Die!"
She roared in fury and punched again.
"Bang!"
Dexter matched it.
She immediately released a barrage of punches.
"Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"
Their fists became blurs.
Each collision sent another thunderous shockwave rippling through the arena.
The steel walls rang with each impact as the ground beneath their feet groaned and trembled.
Every punch Violette threw was equally matched by Dexter.
She struck faster even faster, her fist looking like a machine gun shooting out rapid bullets of fists.
But Dexter was no different, he matched her punches and also matched her speed!
His expression didn’t change a single bit and he didn’t move a single inch.
What does it meant to be invincible in the same realm!?
Violette suddenly flipped backwards as ash roared.
"Divine Dragon Might!"
Violette’s left eyes shone as it transformed into a pure golden eye of a dragon.
Her fingernails elongated into curved claws as her canine teeth extended into fangs.
She had activated her bloodline.
Her energy surged, her strength exploded upward, and the golden dragon coiling around her body doubled in size.
"ROOOOOOAR!"
