Tabernacle ② - Dinner at Fa's House

The 17th of the Green Moon. I haven't had dinner at Fa's house in half a month.

Yesterday and yesterday we were invited to the council of chiefs of the Luu family, so that the work of the "Tail Pavilion of Kimmus" would also be left to Raina-Lu and Sheila-Lu, and it had to be today - at a time when Milan-Math was to return fully.

Three days before that, it was Milan-Math trying to kick the Dougs out of the inn, so in that sense, it was the thought of getting my hair pulled back, even for me.

but Milan-Math had agreed to keep the soldiers of the King's Capital for some time now as a result of discussions with the nobles of the castle town through the Chamber of Commerce President Tapas. The nobles of Genos also stated that they were not going to let the soldiers stay unconditionally like this, and the story was that Milan-Math had decided to believe the word for the first time.

He also said there were several other lodgings complaining about keeping the soldiers, and a similar word was delivered there. After all, touching Morga's contraindications was an event that could never be seen by the people of Genos.

Lema-Gate and others in Alou's Stuff Pavilion kicked the soldiers out without question, but fortunately, they were not guilty.

However, as a punishment, I am told that the prizes and rents that had been paid in advance were confiscated. I guess I couldn't have given you no punishment in front of the other inns with strong patience. Still, I suppose I should say that I was fortunate enough to have been fined because I had failed to comply with a request from the nobles.

Either way, disturbing air is spreading through the Inn Town.

Besides, Dora's father told me that Dalaim was so disgusted with the people of the King's capital that he couldn't beat it.

"What a silly addition or subtraction to touching Morga's contraindications when a soldier was just trying to hunt Giva! My grandmother and grandmother were already too smart to fall down!

Dora's father, too, was puffy and angry.

The people who disturbed my mind in this one case were either angry or scared, but my father was the former.

Also, Grandma Missil and others, the same Dalaim vegetable seller, had just abandoned themselves as "stupid people" with the same grumpy face.

After all, Genos is inhabited by people of different qualities, so even listening to the same story seemed to have a poor reaction.

The people who have emigrated in recent years and so on look like they are eating without even understanding what the people around them are fussing about. Yumi's father, Samus, and others, were their epitomes.

After all, people who have long lived in the land and who were carefully told of Morga's heritage by their parents, grandparents, etc. would be greatly disturbed. Milan-Math and Lema-Gate, descendants of liberal pioneers, are the hallmarks.

So far, there has not been a great deal of noise between the people of Genos and the soldiers. But if you left it without hitting any hand like this, you wouldn't know what would happen to it, either. If someone even threw a stone at a soldier, the danger that would trigger it and develop into a riot had filled the Inn Town in the past few days.

So after all, Gazran-Rutim, who insisted that we should deal with this as soon as possible, was right.

Over two days, yesterday and one yesterday, the Forestside Chiefs decided to explore the way forward. Me and Ai-Fa and Camua-Josh were also invited on the spot to exchange a great deal of fierce arguments. So he finally communicated his conclusions to Castle Town and took them from Malstein.

So the day of the showdown is tomorrow.

Before the day of such a showdown, it was the first time in half a month that I-Fa and I had the opportunity to surround dinner at our own house.

"It was a much rarer experience to have dinner outside for a whole half month. Since I was taking care of you at the Lew house with Cycleus."

While working on the last finish of dinner at my mother's shop, I let her say it that way.

"I used to take care of you in the settlement of Sauti and take trips to Doug, but that was a few days at best and which story... well anyway, Milan-Mouth is better and more than anything else"

At the doorstep, Ey-Fa nods "Uhm" as Brave watches his meat chunks abound. Those eyes have probably looked at me with resentment.

"By the way, it's Asta. I can't wait to starve."

"Sorry! It's the first decent dinner I've had in half a month, so I'm in the mood. Well, I'm going to try to be creative so I can make Ai-Fa happy, so just wait a little longer."

"You don't have to be creative to complain about Asta's cooking.... Anyway, I'm hungry."

"Copy that! Then I'm sorry, but could you bring me the iron pot from Kamado's cabin? This one, too, will finish soon."

"An iron pot? Okay."

"It's on Kamado, the little iron pot. Be careful not to burn it because it's kept warm on the charcoal that put out the fire."

"Uhm, I know"

Ai-Fa left the front door in a refreshing foothold.

In the meantime, I throw fruit liquor in an iron pan and cover it. Now if the excess heat is passed, the main dish is also complete.

Before I-Fa came back, I lined up the dishes and the side dishes.

The glass of vitreous I received from Schmiral is poured with a cup of chilled chatch tea, and the large plate of vitreous I received from Radajid is served with a salad of raw vegetables.

Dishes were also much more abundant in Fa's house, such as chopsticks processed with thick wooden skewers, and dishes from a fork taken from Castle Town.

"You kept me waiting," Ai-Fa said back.

It is a small iron pan that can be easily transported by one person. It also has a properly dedicated lid, and this little pot was treasured a lot at the dinner for both of us.

"Thank you. Put it on top of this pot laying"

"Uhm," Ai-Fa lowers the pan.

I just opened the lid and poured minestrone-style tarapa soup into a wooden dish.

Ey-fa, who is in his seat, stares at me with a majestic glance.

"... so you're not finished yet?

"It's almost done. Sounds like you can't wait."

"... waiting for my first dinner in half a month, is something wrong?

"No, there is no annihilation either! I've been waiting for this day, too."

I removed the lid from the large pot and checked the baking on the wooden skewer.

No problem, the fire is through. This dish was a new menu that I started at noon today, so I was pretty careful with the fireworks.

"All right, it's done. I'll serve it. Just wait a minute."

Transfer the contents of the iron pan into a wood dish and rub the sauce with the remaining gravy, which is now complete.

"Hmm," Ai-Fa nodded heavily, looking down at the wooden dish placed in front of him.

"Again, Hanba-goo"

"Yeah. I haven't had a chance to make hamburgers in the last half of the month. But today's is very tailored."

When I got to my seat, I-Fa closed his eyelids and crushed the pre-meal wording.

Even when we have dinner at Kimmus's Tail Pavilion, even though I was allowed to pair up with Ai-Fa, it still makes a lot of sense to eat in our own homes without family water. I could feel so warm as I recited the pre-meal wording.

Having thus concluded the important ritual, Ai-Fa just took the plate of hamburgers in his hand.

Two corny mound-shaped patties are arranged, accompanied by a chacci, a sautéed Nennon and Bunasimedimodoki.

The sauce is a simple gravy sauce, based on gravy, fruit liquor and minced aria.

"Hmm... you don't seem to know what's so special about tailoring"

"Yeah. First thing I'm saying, there's not even cheese in there."

Hamburg with Gamma's cheese was my favorite, so I decided to give him advance notice so he wouldn't let me be disappointed.

"Well," he nodded, while Ai-Fa took up the fork.

So splitting one patty didn't change the look on Ai-Fa's face.

Apparently, his eyes caught the blind eye. If there was a difference there, it should have been about not using Aria minced.

Ai-Fa leans his little neck, while carrying the cut patties to his mouth.

Rubbing minestrone-style tarapa soup, when I was sneaking up on that look - eventually, Ey-Fa's eyes opened to surprise.

Chewing the hamburger patties carefully, they stare at me as I devour them, shouting my chest at 80% anticipation and 20% anxiety, while I waited for Ai-Fa to swallow it.

"Asta, what is this Hanba-gu... what is it?

Eventually, after eating one mouthful of patties, Ai-Fa asks just now.

In those eyes was a very serious light.

"That's Gibba's Tan - a hamburger with Gibba's tongue."

"Giva's tongue? Using Giva's tongue, can you do this kind of soldering?

"Yeah. That's a unique texture, isn't it? I hope it fits Ey-Fa's mouth..."

Perhaps when I asked, I could get you the phrase, "It's set on delicious".

While I breathe in relief, Ai-Fa carries Giba Tan's hamburger into his mouth again. It was something that looked like a young child.

"If it fits Ey-Fa's mouth too, good for you. I was just a little worried if it would suit my taste in hamburgers."

In my words, I shake my head sideways. I guess it's a gesture of not having to worry about anything. With a rush to spare his mouth, Ai-Fa had a hamburger on his cheek.

I also carry my hamburger into my mouth as I get another rare sense of happiness from that appearance.

Gibba's tan is a fairly chewy area. It's what I use coarsely grinding it, so this patty was pretty chewy, too.

However, it is not hard on the groan. Somehow, it's a texture that's so elastic that it's stuck all the time. It had a very powerful taste, more meaty than regular meat.

It also has plenty of gravy, but it has no fat and a refreshing taste. It was such a delicacy and ease of eating, like fine red meat.

"So, the other patty's got some work to do again. I think it's more unique that way, what do you think?

Ai-Fa, who seemed to hassle one patty at once, makes the fork change its destination in those words.

Ey-fa, who cut the new patties apart, frowned in disgust.

"Looks like there's some ingredients added here."

"Yeah. When I say ingredients, it's 100 percent giva meat, though."

"Pa-san?" While twisting his neck, Ai-Fa also included the paté in his mouth.

I just bit him once or twice, and his eyes open wide again. This was supposed to be such a changing ball finish.

"Your patties are mixed with regular giva meat ground beef with a larger cut giva tongue."

Even if it is larger, it is about one centimetre square at most. This was the kind of patty that worked out the dusty square tan in plenty of coarsely ground meat.

To the normal patty texture is added the firm texture of the tan. At first I tried coarsely grinding and blending both tan and regular meat, but it wasn't very effective, so I came up with this kind of special tailoring.

I am proud that this has resulted in such an interesting finish. But to Ai-Fa, who has twice as much thoughtfulness for Hamburg, how it feels - the word "delicious" was delivered as I waited thrilled again.

"Both delicious. Not less than the solder I usually eat, it's delicious."

"Oh well. That would have been nice. So, which of those two types suited Ey-Fa's taste?

Once Ai-Fa closed his open mouth, he even dazzled the two types of patties with a serious look in his own eyes.

At the end of the day, now I'm gonna lower my eyebrows a little and stare at me.

"Asta... why do you bring such a difficult question to me?

"Oh, I'm sorry. If you liked both of them, I'd love that."

"So that's what I'm saying from the start"

Ai-Fa let her lips slightly tuck away before finally taking the baked poiton in her hand, as she remembered the existence of other dishes.

After that, the dishes will be taunted one after the other with tremendous rotation. Even though both of Ey-Fa's hamburgers were lumped with 250 grams of discernment, they looked very unfortunate when eating the last mouth.

So the tarapa soup, the raw vegetable salad and the baked potato are all still dropped into the stomach of the two, and the first supper in half a month is quickly over.

Layer the empty plates and throw them in the iron pan, pour the water from the water bottle, then you two sit in line and on the wall. Ai-Fa has had one satisfying exhale before turning to me.

"Asta, it was delicious."

"Yeah. If you're satisfied, I'm happy."

"There's no way I'm not satisfied. It was more dinner than I expected."

After stating so, Ai-Fa frowned at the cleavage for some reason.

"... Asta, I think it's a shameful act as a forest folk to flinch the words you utter once..."

"Yeah? What are you talking about?

Ai-Fa did not answer and gently shrugged up the tip of my right hand, which had been thrown out on the floor.

And wrap it in flutter with your own hands. That sudden behavior and the warmth of Ey-Fa's fingertips made me a lot more dodgy.

"I'm the one who said I shouldn't touch you as much as possible, but it's hard to keep your feelings down. At least keep it just at the tip of your hand, so forgive me."

"No, no, no forgiveness, no flattery."

Even on my birthday, I've plucked Ey-Fa's tears, teased her pinkies for finger-cutting. If it weren't for extreme skinship, you wouldn't have to wear anything.

Nevertheless, with my hand held like this, I was only allowed to smile softly at Ai-Fa and I was set to beat faster without any more.

"... Nevertheless, I had no idea that Hanba-gu would ever be surprised. You've often come up with such a way of making it."

"Yeah. Actually, that triggered Donda-Lou,"

"Donda-Lou? How did Donda-Lou inspire you to come up with a new Hanba-gu?

After saying it strangely, Ai-Fa narrowed her eyes with pleasure.

"I see. Donda-Lou hates the softness of Hanba-gu, so you thought you could chew on Hanba-gu at all."

"Yeah, because when I was invited to the Lew family like yesterday or yesterday, I was going to help make dinner too, but I didn't really feel like making a hamburger that Donda-Lew didn't like."

Donda-Lou also doesn't look sticky if they serve hamburgers with regular roasted meat or as soup hamburgers. But still, I couldn't move the fact that I didn't like hamburgers for Donda-Lou, so I managed to get it broken.

"Now if Donda-Lou likes Gibba Tan's hamburger, even on the day you're invited to the Lou family, you can probably make one I think, right? Especially since I haven't been able to get a hamburger out to Ai-Fa lately because I was helping Kimmus's Tail Pavilion, so yesterday and yesterday was kind of painful."

"Then shouldn't I have made it yesterday or one yesterday? After business, would you have had time to devise a way to make it?

"Yeah, that's true...... but after all, the new hamburger was because I wanted Ai-Fa to eat first. I remembered to wait for the day I could make dinner at Fa's house."

There was a lot of power at the fingertips of Ey-Fa holding my hand.

He stares at my face, shining like Ey-Fa's eyes moistened.

"... Asta, I think it's a shameful act as a forest folk to flinch the words you utter once..."

"Huh? Hey, Ai-Fa?

Out of my hand, the warmth of Ai-Fa went away.

but in the next moment, further warmth envelops me. Ai-fa was the hunter's agility, and he just kept holding my body in his arms wondering if it was still this.

"No, Ai-Fa, you don't have to be so impressed with anything..."

"It's weird. The majority of the blame is on you."

Whispering in a blurred voice, Ai-Fa has slipped her own cheek on my cheek.

I'm sure they use gibberish fruit in traps and such. The sweet scent creeps into my nostrils with a tremendous sense of intoxication.

My heart was beating my chest like an early bell.

And through thin clothes, even the heartbeat of Ai-Fa was passing on to my chest.

The warmth of Ai-Fa permeates me from every place. It should have been since the rainy season - when I developed The Breath of Ameshorn - when I was finally able to move decently and I was cuddled while being declared this was the last time by I-Fa.

"... I swore I wouldn't touch you in the future just because I'm loving you, and I broke the ban myself"

With my arm around my back, Ai-Fa is whispering again.

"But I think I love Asta more than I did back then. I guess that's why I was so ready to shatter and scatter back then"

"Ugh, yeah, really..."

"Mm-hmm. That's why you're responsible for making me feel that way, too."

Then let me assume that much responsibility.

Because I am so happy, it would have been my hope if Ai-Fa had been at ease.

Thinking blurry like that, I also let Ai-Fa's supple body softly cuddle.

Ai-Fa has slipped his cheek on my cheek again, breathing in comfort.

"... Tomorrow will finally show the nobles of the King's Capital our way forward"

and has stated so in the voice of Ai-Fa pushing and hissing on the fuselage.

"So I don't know if this noise will converge... but if only you could stay on my side, I'll let you cut me open no matter how difficult the road is"

"Yeah. I feel the same way, Ai-Fa"

Ai-Fa has been hugging my body with ever stronger force.

Although my breathing became painful without saying goodbye, I couldn't tell whether that was because I was being tightened up by the power of I-Fa, or whether I was simply dawning and stuck breathing.

The only thing I know is that I am happier than anyone else in the world.

For the first time in half a month, Fa's house was relaxed without anyone interrupting her.
