New Encounters ② - Forestside Settlements

It wasn't until about a moment later that we had a place to talk to the three of us - Rico, Belton and Van Deiro.

Apparently this was quite an intrusive story, so I decided to have them wait for the stall business to end.

"Well, then let me ask you something. First of all, what the hell is puppet use like?

When I asked her that way, the girl Rico said, "Eh!" I glanced at that little body, as I was heartily surprised.

"Puppeteers are puppeteers. Don't you know the puppeteer, Asta?

"Yeah. Unfortunately, you don't know. Maybe no one knows by the woods."

This was in front of the warehouse of Kimmus's Tail Pavilion, and Kamadoku by the woods was all in his face. When I look around, some of the women nod to show their consent.

Then Levi, who was looking at the occasion, raised his voice.

"Puppeteers are people who use threaded puppets to show their art. I haven't seen him much lately, but I remember seeing him on Easter a few times when he was a hungry ghost."

"Oh, I see. I mean, does that mean a puppet show?

"Yes, yes. So you're gonna use your little doll to show you a fairy tale and a mythical play. I think it's a pretty delightful spectacle, huh?

Thanks to Levi, I was finally able to capture the image.

but the ladies still have a question mark over their heads. In it, "Um" and Yun-Sudra raised their voices to Hikame.

"So what does wanting to make Asta's story mean? Asta's a living person, so it's not gonna be a fairy tale or a myth, is it?

"Yes! I want to make Asta's strange raw as a story! To that end, I have even done it to this Genos!

Rico freshly stated so, lighting his cheeks with enthusiasm.

Then Vina Ruu-Lilyn said, "Huh...?" I raise my voice.

"I mean... is it like 'Misha the White Sage'...? It wasn't a fairy tale or a myth, it was a living human story, too...?

"'White Sage Misha' is a story I love too!

After responding that way, Rico tilts her little neck adorably.

"But yeah, that's also a story from hundreds of years ago, so I guess half of it's like a fairy tale...... I think this one is a story that gets swept up in a biography. I want to create a biography of Asta that will be told to future generations!

"Hey, wait a minute. Oh, my God, I'm not that kind of person. I can't believe I'm making a biography and making a puppet show out of it."

"What do you say! Asta's raw is a gorgeous story in itself! My God, I just wanted to tell you that story, because it caught my heart so much!

Rico accidentally closed his eyelids when he combined his hands in front of his chest.

"I inherited many stories from my mother, but Asta's stories were so gorgeous and heartwarming that they were unbeatable. So I began to sincerely wish that I could tailor it to the puppet's story with this hand. I've never wanted to work on a story so much myself before in my life!

"No, but..."

"Besides, I heard that Asta and the people by the woods may have difficulty with the truth and the different flavors flowing. If so, shouldn't we make the truth as it is widely known to the world as a puppet story?

I don't think so, I'm stuck with words.

And there, I find myself uncomfortable without small. They had just come to Genos, and it seemed a lot more familiar.

"I was wondering if you could give me a minute. Where and how did you hear about me and the people by the woods in the first place? Maybe it's the story you've heard that has no roots or leaves?

"No, I wanted to speak to Asta directly from someone who was being made to be sincere. So I'm sure there's no mistake in what I've heard."

"Who does that mean that you're being kind to me?

"Yes, it's a man named Pinot from Gamray's Seat."

Again, I lost my word.

Then Sheila-Lou, who was silently watching over this place, whispers to me.

"Pinot is about that beautiful faceted toddler with long black hair, isn't it? Was Asta being made to behave with that girl?

"Yeah, well, of all those groups, I think we had the most opportunities to exchange words... but you don't remember talking in that much detail about your qualities"

Then Rico reacted more to the word than Sheila-Lou.

"Pinot was at Easter last year, and you were staying in Genos, weren't you? At that time, he said he wanted to talk a lot about Asta in Genos and around the forest."

"Oh, I see... so, what does that have to do with Pinot?

"What kind of relationship, not so much. We happened to run into each other on our journey… so we helped where the outlaws were attacking us"

Then Belton, the boy who was silent with a grumpy face, raised his voice, "Heh."

"There was me and Van Deiro over here, so nothing was at stake. They've just got their hands on it from the side."

"But we had ten opponents, didn't we? Of course, if it was Van Deiro, we wouldn't have lost... but the guys at One of the Gamleys helped us out, that's a true story."

I sneaked around to see if this old swordsman was the kind of man who could pay back as many as ten outlaws.

Sure, well, he looks stubborn in his old age. Height etc. was likely to be nearly 180 cm, the spine was firm, and the weak spot can't even see this look. It looks like words like "old and thriving" would fit perfectly.

(Still, having Mr.... I'm sure he's the blood of a freelance folk)

Due to the characteristics of hair that looks grey and grey-brown with strong brown eyes of light, and yellow-brown skin, it is unlikely to be the eastern bloodmuscle. It is a carved, rather tannic face for the people of the west, but of course it would not be the northern bloodstream. The moustache with the same shade of hair also suited me well, and I was wondering if it would have been so beautiful and sturdy in my youth.

Besides, he was also someone who had a bit of a strange vibe.

It's a very quiet sign that the presence, like some kind of - like some big rock, is so natural, so powerful that it doesn't oppress people. It is a deposition reminiscent of Gazran-Rutim or Dari-Sauti, and those who have these signs in a town human have never seen them before.

"Anyway, I want to make up the story of Asta! This may be inconvenient, thank you!

And, cut up your argument with Belton, Rico comes head down.

I thought, "Hmm."

"To be honest, I don't feel comfortable at all. In the first place, please, what can I ask you to do?

"I want to hear more from Asta. The stories I've heard from Pinot are fragmentary, and I'm sure there are a lot of back situations and stuff that only Asta knows about, right? I want to spin those stories together to complete Asta's story!

Rico's green eyes were filled with light that was not serious.

Around the same age as Tour-Din, he is quite impatient, even though his face is very unusual. If you refuse, say no, and I had to give you a good reason, it wasn't going to convince me very well.

"Oh well. But I can't accept it at this stage. That's what I feel, and I'm a forest folk, so I can't imitate without the pardon of my parents or my chief."

"So can I talk to those of you?

I looked back at Lara-Lew.

Vina Luu-Lilin had become Lillin's person, so she was the only family in the Luu main family on this occasion.

Lara-Lew put his hands around his hips and looked at Rico's serious face as he distracted his chest all the way.

"If you swear you won't be evil by the woods, you can give me a guide to the chief. But when you stay in a forest settlement, you'll have to keep your sword."

Then the old swordsman Van-Deiro looked back at Rico with a lot of eyebrow roots.

"Deposit your swords, and you may lose sight of protecting them. Still don't mind?

"Yes! Pinot said of the people by the woods, very clean and right-hearted people. If we do not do evil, nothing should be in danger."

"That's what's so far-fetched about it. Pinot, you're the one who just looked at me once, right? Don't believe such a flamboyant one."

When Belton complained, Rico put his tongue out there.

"It wasn't just Pinot, we were all good people. How can Belton not believe these good people?

"Because you're a good person, you don't always have eyes to see people - do you? What would you do if his eyes were a pit saver?

"You think that pinot is such a far-fetched person? At least you have more definite eyes than me or Belton."

Hi, this girl Rico, her tongue seemed skilful for her age. Instead of standing theoretically and having no gaps, they turn back their words with powerful arguments. Belton was tongue-in-cheek when he tilted his hat as deep as a hunting.

"Now, please guide us. Shall we follow in the luggage car, too?

"Right. But you're not gonna do anything wrong, are you?

That's how we finally got back to the woods.

Since there are more trainees, as many as five luggage vehicles are used today. It's an account of two in Fa's house, two in Lew's house, and one in Din's house. After Din's house also talked about more trainees, it finally came to a situation where he could buy his own Totos and luggage.

Rico's luggage is two heads off, so one is bigger than our luggage. It also seemed daunting with just three crew members, but I'm sure they also have a lot of supplies needed for the puppet play. On the side of the carrier, a huge, winged bird bone was depicted with a humorous touch, however a traveler-like decoration.

In addition to those Rico's share, six luggage cars follow the road to the woods. On that road, Yun-Sudra was twisting her neck tightly.

"I don't quite understand as much as I just did. Is a puppet or doll... like a toddler drawing an eye on a piece of wood or a stone and seeing it to a person?

"Yeah. I don't think I'm wrong with that understanding."

"So... is that girl going to draw her eyes on pieces of wood and stones and see it to Asta?

"I don't know about that either, but I guess it's a little more elaborate to make. Look, there's a wooden statue for sale in Inn Town, right? Just like that."

"Oh, I see... what kind of art would that be?

It seemed a little difficult in the first place to make a forest folk familiar with something called a doll understand the existence of a puppet show.

Before I can convince Yun-Sudra, the luggage truck will arrive in Luu's settlement. That's how a lot of people were really waiting for Vina Luu-Lilin's visit in front of Luu's main house.

"Hey, you look a lot different! You look pretty good."

When Mother Meer Ray first raised her voice, Vina Ruu-Lilin responded to it with a slightly embarrassing smile. In the morning, I was talking about my mother Mia Ray being busy and not being able to say hello.

At its feet, a little shadow approaches me a little bit. Realizing it, Vina Ruu-Lilin shrugged up that little body with her hands up.

"Looking good, Kota-Lu... Before this, I couldn't say hello properly..."

Kota-Lou remained an obscure face, cuddling Vina Luu-Lillin's neck all the time. In a two-year-old, it would be difficult to understand what the wedding meant either. In that little head, he may have wondered why Vina Lew-Lillin would call herself Mr.

And Sati Ray-Luu and Grandma Tito Min and Barsha also surround Vina Luu-Lilin with a smile. It goes without saying that every face was full of joy colors.

"Well, then Rayna and Limi are waiting with their necks longer. You should just show him your face. Ziva's in the middle of a nap, so call me before you leave."

"Yeah, I get it. Wow... then, don't ask me for later...?

The words were directed at Lara-Luu.

Lara-Luu has a slightly riddled face and nods "Yeah". If you do your job properly on behalf of your sister, you're willing to.

"Mother Meer Ray, I have a guest today. I'm keeping you waiting in that van over there, Donda, so before Dad gets back, will you listen to me first?

"Guests? People in town? I didn't realize there was a lot of luggage cars."

Vina Leu-Lilin and Sheila-Lou disappear into the cabin, and Lara-Leu leads her guests to the front of her mother's house. Instead of Mother Meer Ray, only Barsha remained.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Rico and this is Van-Deiro to Belton. Today, I came to ask for a favor from the people by the woods."

That's how the details were told from Rico's own mouth, but Mother Meer Ray couldn't answer as clearly as she usually does.

"I don't use puppets. I don't know, I've never even heard of it... but if it was Barsha, you know what I mean?

"Oh, sure. If it was a puppeteer with decent arms, I'd think it would be fun for adults and children alike."

After stating it that way, Barsha glanced at the old swordsman.

"But as far as I'm concerned, you're more concerned than a puppeteer, Mr. Swordsman. Maybe you're making the Guardian a living?

Van-Deiro looked back at Barsha about halfway between the Buddha's top and his faceless face.

"Indeed, Non used to work as a Guardian. But now he's nothing but a windmill wandering the continent."

"Well, what kind of relationship do you have with those kids? Doesn't mean those kids don't have a Mr., does it, grandson?

"Whatever. I just happen to be on edge and acting together"

When Van-Deiro said all that and stuck his mouth, Rico raised his voice instead.

"Van-Deiro is kind enough to protect us. Without Van-Deiro, I don't know if I would have returned my soul every time Belton and I went."

"Oh, he's so kind."

Mother Mia Ray asked strangely to Barsha shrugging her thick shoulders.

"Barsha, is this someone famous?

"Oh. When it comes to Van Deiro in" The Lion Killer, "he's a swordsman who made a name for himself all over the kingdom. If you were an outlaw, you'd run away just because you heard the name."

"Yeah. That's a big deal."

After stating it that way, Mother Meer Ray turned to Rico.

"Well, you guys don't look like bad people either, so I just want you to talk to the chief... but even the chief doesn't know what to do, even if he says he's a puppeteer or something. I think you're gonna have a hard time judging me, huh?

"The folks at the woods aren't familiar with the art of puppet use, are they? If so, what kind of art is it, shall we see it on this occasion?

"Oh, is it that easy to make it look like that?

"It's not easy, but it's not hard either. I'll just be ready as usual."

"Right. Well, then, please. The chief should be back by sundown. Until then, relax as a guest."

Then Rico set himself out with his eyes shining.

"So can you forgive me for staying by Asta's side until then?

"With Asta? But Asta had a study group at Fa's house, right?

"Yes, but I'm sure Ai-Fa won't be able to answer anything at the moment either. Together with Donda-Lou, I think we should take a look at something called the art of puppets."

"Right," Mother Meer Ray nodded.

"Then, by sundown, shall I ask you to come back with I-Fa? If that's okay with you, you can have dinner at my place."

"That's a thankful offer...... but isn't it annoying?

"If it's annoying, I won't ask you out. My family is alone again, so I'd appreciate it if you kept me busy."

Dalm-Lu and Vina Luu-Lilin left the house, and the family of the Luu main house became eleven. Still, it would still be a large family category, but my mother Meer Ray's cheerful voice felt slightly engulfed with inner sarcasm.

"Okay. I can't get a formal reply without parental approval, but I'm sure there's nothing I'd say no to either"

"Yeah, thank you. I'll get ready for dinner. Tell them that if they don't come, Rudd's stomach could burst."

Only joking and saying, Mother Meer Ray looked back at Barsha.

"Well, just in case, can Barsha follow Asta?

"Just me. Then you're not going to do anything. At least let Lyada-Lu be with you."

"Oh, then I'll let Lyada-Lu go get it too.... Oh, before that, you're people from the extra town, aren't you?

To Mother Meer Ray's inquiry, Rico blinked her eyes.

"Yes, neither I nor Belton nor Van-Deiro are Genos people. What's wrong with that?

"Genos humans can't get too close to Fa's house in the diverse. They keep the sanctuary people there."

"People of the sanctuary?," Van-Deiro reacted.

"Why do the people of the sanctuary dwell in such a place? What if this mountain of Morga..."

"Oh, apparently it's like a place called the Sanctuary. Do you have a good story to tell about it?

"Uhm. The people of the sanctuary and the people of the kingdom divided a long time ago. Instead of being enemies, we are not allowed to be friends. It will be the law of the kingdom that the people of the sanctuary, who have left the sanctuary, should not be treated as beasts of the field"

"If you figure that out. Oh, that's no problem. Are you all right?

"Yes," Rico nodded, shaking his little body.

"But it's a surprising story that the people of the sanctuary live in. Didn't the man abandon the sanctuary?

"Oh. I had a little situation, and I was supposed to keep my figure by the woods. You're going to have to go back to Morga Mountain eventually."

"Really... and I can't believe that's the house of Asta's living fa... I guess Asta was born to be the protagonist of the story as much as possible"

"Hey," Van-Deiro said as Rico was thrilled and trembling.

"I know you do, but if you treat the people of the sanctuary or something like that in a puppet play, you don't even know what the nobles will say to you?

"Yes, I understand. Besides, I only want to spin Asta's story. So if you weave it up to the people of the sanctuary, you won't be able to clean it up."

After all that interaction, we were headed to Fa's house.

So Barsha calls out to me.

"Can me and Lyada-Lou get in the same van as Asta? I need to talk to you about this before I get to Fa's house."

"I understand. This way please."

There are eleven people in the stall, and yet Yamil-Ray is saying goodbye here, so there is plenty of room in the cargo bay. Barsha just started talking when I left Gilr's mantra with Yun-Sudra to get on the carrier.

"Asta, that Van Deiro was not only famous as a swordsman with great arms, but also as a tremendous solid. No matter how many silver coins they packed, they had a reputation for never taking requests from nobles who didn't care.... Can you tell him exactly when I get back?

"Yes. Is that a necessary measure?

"Oh, you need it. If I didn't, I'd be scolded by Ai-fa for keeping such a powerful person away from Asta."

To Barsha's words, Lyada-Lu nodded, "Right."

"To be honest, I still find it hard to beat that old man down. Even the likes of Doug and Iphius before will be beyond comparison. I felt so much power in the people of the town... probably since Camua-Josh"

"Is that man such a swordsman? It's amazing how old you are."

"Oh, I think it would be like a monster. Both Van Deiro and Camua-Josh.... and Van-Deiro, because you've been the kind of person whose name comes from when I was such a little girl to a despicable place like Masala. That's what it feels like to run into a fairy tale dweller."

Stated that way, Barsha scratched her horned mandible in a puffy manner.

"So... I'll advise Donda-Lou later, but I think it's up to the nobles to decide if they want to accept their offer."

"When it comes to nobility, are you the Marquis of Genos?

"Oh, yeah. 'Cause that girl's trying to tailor Asta's previous life to a puppet play, isn't she? That means even the story of Count Turan's house should be included there. If they spread stories all over the place that would tarnish noble names, those daughters would be in danger."

That being said, Barsha laughed as if it wasn't even funny.

"This guy was a long time ago... when me and Gollum were wandering around the end of the place lodging town between jobs, the puppeteer was showing his art. That was also the story of the Red Beard Party."

"Oh, that's an amazing story!

"Oh. It was a hilarious play, with a big man like Gollum poking at heaven, a woman hunter like me, and a human who knew nothing about the Red Beard Party. But we used to swallow wealth from the nobles and distribute it to the poor, didn't we? The drama was also like tailoring the Red Beard Party to a righteous bandit and making the nobility false. One of these days, the guards arrived and the puppeteer got picked up."

"I see... placing the Count Turan family on the wrong side of the enemy could make her look the same."

"Oh. If Count Turan's house has been destroyed, we're in the middle of a new lord trying so hard to rebuild the house. I'm being kind to that princess, Asta. 'Cause that's just annoying, isn't it?

"Of course," I gave him a big nod.

"It won't do anyone any good to turn around the evil deeds of Count Turan's house. Should I have said no clearly before I heard the opinions of Ai-Fa or Donda-Lou, after all?

"All in all, I can't say that. I thought you said she should let the world know the truth. Isn't that what you do for the people of the forest?

It is also one logic. We heard from Dels that the disturbances in Genos were spreading in the wrong way.

"So if the people of the woods and the nobility of Genos were to be convinced, it wouldn't be a bad story to have him spread as a puppet play."

"Really?... but I still don't feel comfortable being the hero of the story."

"I know how that feels, and I know it hurts. Anyway, you've seen it before.... It's just that where Asta and the others said no, that little girl could rub the play on her own. Then it would be better to tell them what's right and get them to rub what they're comfortable with, wouldn't it?

I got a lot on my mind.

but I could only worry about it at this stage. This place still seemed like the only way to get Ai-Fa and Donda-Lou to share the same misery.

(Still, I can't believe I'm the protagonist of the puppet show... I can't even think of a thump, at all)

I let myself sigh as I put myself in a rocking luggage truck.

Barsha looked a little happy looking at me like that.
