It's all one flower.

0103. Allied invasion

Tonight's watch order was set.

It's Leno and Medvege, Roark and Morph, Captain Solgnac and Pina.

Cruillo draws a circle around the slide and the small sandbox at the landing point. The canned lid was bi-fold and engraved deep into the ground so that it would not disappear easily.

Cruillo and Awellana cast a spell at the same time, successfully completing the [simplified junction].

Someone exhaled in a ho and the tension in the field eased.

There was still a little time until sundown.

Roark looks at the watch and gets the radio out of the backpack.

Everyone sits back on the insulated sheet laid under the slide and listens to the broadcast.

"The Allied Forces of the Republic of Artel Lanista have deployed to the island of Lanterna, closing the Vietofi Bridge connecting the islands of Negna and Lanterna"

"Allied forces?

Captain Solniak did not listen to and escape the words read out by the announcer of the national broadcast as a matter of course.

The Viet Phi Bridge in the north and south was dropped during half a century of civil unrest.

Immediately after the end of the war, it was rebuilt as a testament (testimony) to the peace between the people of the lake and the people of the land, but when the Kingdom of Lacrimalis launched its policy of magical civilization bias, there was no longer any movement between it and the Republic of Artel.

For more than twenty years, closures continue to be the same.

"In contrast, the Royal Lacrimalis Army has closed the lake and the southern realm of Nenia continues to be unnavigable, including by civilian vessels"

The announcer's monotonous voice reads out the manuscript.

Amateur Leno also tilted her neck to this.

Artel and Lanista are both Kirkulus countries… pure scientific civilizations.

Lake Lacus is home to countless demons, including royal demons.

Apart from long-distance navigation (as well as fishing in coastal areas), all ships called ships are equipped with magical tools with such effects as [exorcism] and [junction].

If you don't rely on magic, you can't protect yourself from demons.

The two countries, with Kirkrus as their national religion, do not own ships in the first place.

There are demons on the sky, but there are fewer than lakes, and most of them don't chase after aircraft speed. There are bird strikes and similar accidents, but crashes rarely occur.

"Why, that doesn't make any sense...?

Cruillo also tilts his neck.

Closing the lake would paralyse trade and traffic between Artel and coastal countries other than Lanista. Not only the Kingdom of Lacrimalis, but also the Republic of Nemoralis, may be involved, causing a scarcity of supplies.

There are some routes that bypass the Funalis archipelago to the east in large measure, but the magic to maintain fuel and [exorcism] is spoiled. In that case, prices would soar dramatically.

The only thing you can carry at the usual fare will be luggage from Amitostigma, but in the Nemoralis Republic, where supplies are scarce due to air raids, that's going to soar too.

"The government told both Artel and Lanista, 'A clear act of aggression, a serious violation of international law. We have issued a strong condemnation statement that we are prepared to use any means to defend the sovereignty of our country."

... Originally it was one country, but invasion... how did you end up like this?

Leno listens to the radio with complicated thoughts.

Everyone else stared at the radio with a hard look. A weak sunset illuminates its side.

"… We also continue to discuss responses with countries as a critical issue in the security of the Hunan region. This is followed by shelter information from all over."

First, the information on the island of Nemoralis, with its capital, Cravel, can be read out.

Not much different from yesterday.

Next, information was read on the island of Nenia, where Leno and the others were located.
