It's all one flower.

393. To a new mandate

"I wonder where he really went."

At the dining room of the air defense ship, after breakfast later than usual, Rubel, the demon soldier, was alone. My partner's back gets far away when he goes to the counter to get me some tea.

For once, it's confidential, so I can't say "what" wherever I am.

Sentinels of the Nemoralis Army, including the demon soldier Rubel, were on assignment at two locations off the coast of the provisionally restored port of North Zakart on Nenia Island and the city of Rachka on Nemoralis Island.

The city of North Zakart, on the border with the Kingdom of Lacrimaris, was devastated by a unilateral air raid that stopped at the Artel Lanista coalition. Immediately thereafter, only the national highway close to the shore of the lake was removed because relief supplies from the Kingdom of Lacrimalis were acceptable. The provisional restoration of the harbour then proceeded, and the debris around the harbour was coarsely cleared. Regular troops are stationed and are on alert for Artel's movements.

Sentinels were also placed just in case off the south coast of Nemoralis Island.

The Kingdom of Lacrimalis is located halfway between the Republic of Nemoralis and the Republic of Artel. Due to the lake blockade in Lacrimalis, Artel Air Force flight routes were limited off the western coast of the island of Nenia.

The Artel of the Nation of Scientific Civilization does not possess a single Magic Machine ship navigable through Lake Lacus, inhabited by demons and warcraft. The only way to attack the island nation's Nemoralis was by air force forces or by missiles that sank their defenses.

The island of Lanterna, which is occupied by Artel, and the island of Nainia, where Nemoralis occupies the northern half, are connected by the North and South Vietofi Bridge, but to enter Army forces, they must pass through Lacrimaris territory, which occupies the southern half of Nainia.

Lacrimaris currently defended his neutrality and did not allow the two armies to cross the North Vieetfi Bridge.

The evacuation of residents has been completed from the front-line city of North Zakart, and only the Nemoralis government forces will officially remain in the city.

The return of evacued residents is forbidden, but fire scene thieves, militant guerrillas and warcraft hunters were entering a ruined city.

... Even if you don't die in that attack, aren't you already dead eaten by a lake demon or a warcraft?

Redhead demon soldier Rubel thought as he followed with his eyes the movement of his partner who would come back with the mug.

Ten shifts, three holidays, a sentry west of Negna Island, a sentry south off Nemoralis Island, that search turn. I don't know about the search mission I've been on, but it leaks a sigh of relief.

My dark-haired partner sits in the seat across the street and leans over the cup. When I thanked him and received it, my partner sipped the coffee and listened.

"What, you got a dark face?

"Was it that dark?

"Well then... even if we dated for ten days at a time, I'd be watching you all the time and protecting only you. I'm worried."

"Mullark... don't say it in an uncomfortable way"

Obviously it's a joke, so give it back at ease. Mulak, his partner, returned to his true face as he moaned the silver eagle (eagle) raised from his neck.

"If you have any problems, I'll talk to you."

"Trouble, I was just thinking about my assignment from today."

"What, such a cot? I thought you were upset and depressed by a woman during the holidays."

"You..."

They called for a new assignment "such a cot," and Rubel, the demon soldier, laughed bitterly. Mulak, his partner, pulls in a niyanya laugh and drops his voice.

"No matter what you encounter, you don't engage, and you leave with a [leap]. Once you discover the goal, mark it and report it.... Isn't that easy?"

"But the place..."

To Mulak, controlled by sharp eyes resembling eagles, Rubel swallowed the continuation.

[The plunging eagle (eagle)] Mulak, the school's magic warrior, is dressed in ordinary clothing, as is commonly seen in the city around it. Coarsely woven cotton jacket and trousers. Both are magical armor embroidered with spells of various defenses in a special yarn of the same leaf colour as the fabric.

Rubel also wears the same type of armor in loess. He had his badge (today) [Flying Horned Eagle (bee bear)] in his clothes.

Mulak pushed the [plummeting eagle] from his collar into his clothes as he was twisting around in his hand.

Normally, there are few users of Rubel's [Flying Horned Eagle (Beech Bear)] or Mullark's [Surging Eagle] School of Art. There are guards and demon exterminators, but there are a few of them.

Rubel, the demon soldier, said in silence, "What, are you angry?" He has a face that tends to be asked, and his physique is quite successful. My partner Mulak, whose physique is close to Rubel, did not intimidate those who see it in a nostalgic atmosphere.

In case, I'm supposed to pretend to be a demon exterminator.

Mullark urged, waiting for Rubel to drink up tea with deep barley.

"Time to go"

Rubel set her belly and raised her heavy hips to a sigh mix.

Do a final inspection of the portable items and leave. The two others were busy working in the care of the air defense vessels, as well as in the vigilance of the Artel army and the removal of debris.

As they descended into the harbor, they headed south on the National Highway.

First aid for penetration work, there is not a single car running on the national highway that just filled the hole in the air raid.

Twice in the morning and evening, a truck will just pass carrying relief supplies from the Kingdom of Lacrimalis. Midsummer sunshine shines back into the asphalt, and the flames rise.

The great chorus of cicadas echoed like tinnitus from the forest of Lesalub, which leads from the Kublum Mountains.

With the technique of [heat resistance] embroidered in armor, the two walk down the national highway without a single sweat. He climbed the slopes of the burning national highway and entered the Zakart tunnel, which he wore on the western edge of the Kublum Mountains.

The sun does not shine inside the tunnel, but there is not a single miscellaneous demon.

The magical [light] is constantly lit, illuminating the path without a passer. Spells such as [exorcism] engraved on walls and floors do not send cluttered demons or demons.

The cicada's voice turned away and only the two footsteps echoed. On the way, the midsummer light, much brighter than [the light], appears smaller, gradually louder with the voice of the cicada.

He converted the power of the ground vein into magic to always pass through a safe tunnel and narrowed his eyes to outside sunlight.
