It's all one flower.

452. Singing Girls

"Oh, I'm glad you're not scared like that. Non is not a wizard."

Senator Laqueus holds the harp and smiles softly at the beautiful girls lined up in front of the door. The four beautiful girls moved their necks vertically with a stiff expression.

There is no one else in the room painted with pure white lacquer but Senator Laqueus and the girls except on the wooden floor.

If you look closely, the walls and ceilings were engraved with various spells and curses. The dust is not filled with any dust. Every day, I realized that my family here cleans with [water manipulation], only recently.

There are four sets of musical scores on a table of ten people placed in the center.

When Senator Laqueus urged him to take his seat, the girls looked at each other and talked to him about something with their eyes and lowered their hips across from the old man.

"In a magical country, you can't name your real name. Have you been taught this?

"Yes."

The four of them aligned their voices and snorted firmly.

It's not a flashy stage costume I saw in the video, it's a plain and discreet outfit, with no single outfit and no hair set. Doing this, the four people who were introduced to being national idols of the Artel Republic looked like ordinary girls just adorable.

"The name of Non is Lacueus. When I was younger, I was part of an orchestra, and it was called Halpator. Either way, you can call me whatever you want."

"Uh... well, can I call you Mr. Halpator?

A seemingly winning girl looked at the old man from the front and heard him pay off the glossy dark hair hanging on his shoulders on his back.

"Oh, I don't mind. What can I call you?

"If it's not your real name, is it even your stage name?

"Even you, if you will."

The girls meet each other in the face and start consulting.

Last night, one person at a time was brought to Amitostigma, and this morning I spent time in separate houses until I was brought to this room, the leader of the Asacor party told me earlier.

Eventually, the consultation comes together and the brunette girl names herself in a voice that often goes by.

"Make it a weird pseudonym, and when they call me, I'm in trouble if I don't know, and I'm going to live by my stage name."

"Oh, I see."

"I say Archione. Thank you very much."

"It's Asterope."

"It's Electra."

"It's Tygeta."

The blonde and brown-haired girls also named in turn.

"Mm-hmm. Nice to meet you. Quick, but did someone tell you what's going to happen?

"Yes. Um, a guy named Mr. Razornik said from now on, he could make me work as a singer singing not a psalm..."

A straw-haired girl named Tygeta said as she pressed her glasses up with her fingers. The other three snort.

"Right. Have you ever been taught that in a magical land, rewards are paid in goods, not in cash?

The girls looked at each other silently.

It's impossible to teach or remember anything from just one night.

Consolidating his belly teaching not only the song, but life in general, Senator Laqueus briefly explained the barter.

"It doesn't hang much money in a magical country. For example... this room would be cool without air conditioning"

In the words of Senator Laqueus, the girls looked around the room.

There's nothing else in this white room but chairs and tables. The art of the [nest hanging hanging] school built into the building and the magic of the inhabitants who activate it always keeps the room comfortable and protects it from cluttered demons and demons.

The girls' expressions froze.

Dark-haired Archione exhales slowly and nods to Senator Laqueus to show. The other three gave up, too, slightly loosened their expressions.

"Don't worry about the meal for the moment. I have a donation from a supporter."

"Who are your supporters?

A blonde Asterope rides herself out to the table. Rich breasts rode the top plate for my age. Senator Laqueus answers by coughing one up.

"It's a lot of people who want an end to the war and a peaceful life. People driven by vengeance say they become militant guerrillas and are roughing up the mainland of Artel, but our activities, other than force, are about ending the war."

"Is that the song?

Tygeta's eyes shine behind her glasses.

Congressman Laqueus let him snort with a smile.

"It's one of many things. You guys know about national health gymnastics?

The girls shook their heads sideways simultaneously.

I went on to hear the weather forecast's BGM "Find This Big Sky," but I also say I don't know this. Sure, it's an old song, but even during half a century of civil unrest, it was usually played in schools and on the radio. The parents of these daughters must know.

... The secular songs from the days of the Lacus Lacrimaris Republic, did you rule them all out?

There is no way to ascertain if the girls just don't know or if they were forbidden to pass it on.

Senator Laqueus showed a bunch of musical scores.

"This is the score. Originally for gymnastics, there were no lyrics, but recently a refugee girl wrote a poem wishing for peace and hit the Lord's Melody"

Another song, "Find This Big Sky," is a poem once sung by Niptra Neumae for radio weather forecasting and a bakery moving sale lyrics by the same refugee girl.

I keep a copy of the three scores in a clip. The girls looked through with seriousness.

Senator Laqueus claws the main melody of the weather forecast's BGM "Find This Big Sky" with a harp. For a moment, the girls raised their faces from the spectrum, but immediately followed the notes with their gaze.

This song was originally the [Flying Swallow] school's [Gentle Rainfall] curse. With the lyrics of powerful words, if the powerful people do not sing, they cannot call for rain. It also says that it takes powerful magic to manipulate the weather.

Senator Laqueus said nothing and played twice through the same melody. The clear tone of the harp echoes in a magically protected white room.

The girls did not speak and moved their mouths to the melody.
