It's all one flower.
728. Determination at the airport
"We'll take a taxi to Decea Airport."
Roark pushed the suitcase to follow the president of the warehouse company. Exit onto the national highway through the port of Decea, where trucks and trailers hiccup.
I accidentally stunned my face at the intensity of the exhaust gas.
There is no crack in the black asphalt, and a group of large vehicles filling the eight lanes flows at a constant speed, as connected by invisible threads. The white line separating the lanes hurts my eyes as I light up the autumn sun.
The cab waiting on the shoulder looked terribly out of place.
The president tells me he's a booker out loud and unbeatable by the sound of the construction. A driver waiting in front of the car loaded the trunk with Roark's luggage.
While boarding the back seat following the president, Rourke saw the completed building as chilling. More than ten floors of disappointing buildings can be dignified beneath October's Little Haruhi.
When the door closed, the noise was a little farther away. The driver rides the flow of the car with a skillful handle.
"Customer, I'm sorry for the noise"
"No, it's okay"
"We're still in the process of rebuilding this neighborhood, it's full of construction sites, but we'll all be done next year or so."
"That's a very steep pitch,"
... I wonder what the cost of reconstruction is, even though we've been at war for a long time.
Differences in building methods, or buildings in the Nemoralis republic, even if they are expensive, stop on the fifth or sixth floor at most. I can't imagine how much it would cost Roark to build a building higher than that without magic.
"The Church headquarters, the World Bank, and the Barbatum Federation are helping us rebuild with donations and special loans."
The driver pulls a proud gaze over the back mirror.
"Mr. Roark, Nemoralis can be rebuilt as soon as we win, too. Now, the Autonomous Community has become so beautiful that it can't be seen differently. Take a good look at the city of Rufus we're going to."
"Yes."
Roark answered briefly when he saw the tall building and construction site flowing through the windows.
... burned down by fire or air raid, so once the Miscellaneous Demon is gone, the demons are diminished, and it's safe without magic? No, no, Captain, he said there were mischievous demons and demons in the Autonomous Community, too.
Roark tried to remember if there were any miscellaneous demons at Aquillo base, but he was pushed away by the attack of the Artel soldiers and the memory of the Warcraft summoned by the Orioles.
The airport is surrounded by lots of vacant land, material storage and construction sites, but all of the completed buildings are much more splendid than those seen in Nemoralis.
They also rebuilt the airport with a dirty design from Ichi. Either way, the shiny equipment greeted the unfamiliar traveller with a cold laugh.
"Decea, contrary to Nemoralis, created an autonomous community of Fraxinus to end the civil war."
"Will the wizards make you an adult in the Autonomous Community? Sure, you can magically travel, right?
"Naturally, I take care of that. Besides, Decea split up about a hundred years ago, and most of the powerful people moved to new countries in the southwest."
"There weren't many wizards, so the Kirkurs could have won."
The president nodded at Roark's answer, letting his voice contain a grin.
"The neighborhood wasn't all about civil war or anything, and the Fluxinus didn't help their fellow Dyceans."
Rourke thought for a moment and returned the answer that the President - Star Mark (Shiba) Lyabina Branch Manager wanted.
"Fraxinus is thin for you, isn't it? Aren't there people who migrated next door or relatives and friends left in Decare?
"It's that way, and the Kirkurs are up, so it's pretty tough, and I can't get around to other countries. The civil war is still going on."
Roark looked out reflexively. I don't know which direction the glazed windows are pointing. At least, I didn't see any smoke or bomber formation in the sky as far as I could see.
"I can't see it from here. The flight route was turned inland after the lake blockade in Lacrimaris, so I never ate anything."
"Oh... is that right? Relieved."
Roark talked to the president about his mistake.
... Has this also been the purpose of hastening the restoration of the airport of Topoli?
Opposition...... Hidden Kirkurs nestled in the branch party of Qin Pi (Tonerico) probably want to bond with the Kirkurus-nationalized Republic of Dicare.
Private contractors have started commerce before the establishment of formal national traffic, but the bureau is not in a tight spot. In a country that does not have an embassy or anything else, the risk should be high, but does this president have full trust in those with the same faith or did he already build a warehouse?
... Was the travel restrictions lifted?
Perhaps it is a business development that combines support for the reconstruction of Dycare with the spread of conflict risk within Nemoralis.
Receive tickets and complete the boarding process.
"That's it for me, Mr. Rourke, but the next seat is the clerk of the Order. If you have any problems on board, you should ask for help."
"From what to... thank you"
… from what, with surveillance.
Roark was delighted by the wind he felt.
I've never been on a plane before, but there's no exhilaration, and I'm more worried about my disgust with “them” and how to get across to Lanterna Island than about my anxiety to fly.
He was dropped off by the president of the Lyabina branch of the star sign (Shimabe) and queued at the boarding gate. Passengers caught sight of messing with tablet terminals in their spare time.
... Farkill, should I look it up on the internet like you do?
It makes me feel a little easier and think ahead.
For some time to come, we will be totally lonely struggling.
... do as well as you can to get around and pull out Artel's info... but we have to be careful not to find out what we're doing.
I don't know what information will be useful later. "I want to learn about Artel's advanced society in order to build a new society when I return home," but it won't be suspicious.
Deciding to record with interest in anything, Roark boarded a plane to the enemy land.
