It's all one flower.

745. Dongle peeling

DJ Rafe drove an FM Cravel wagon car, and the boys and soldiers Morphs moved to a rest stop near the center of Ougali Old Road.

There was a rural area a little to the south, and more to the south there seems to be the capital of the Nemoralis Republic, but as usual, I didn't feel safe to go to the Pinas alone. The countryside only appears to be a small dot all the way down the gentle slopes, and we don't even know where the capital, Cravel, is.

Three days after that explosion, I was finally allowed to rendezvous with Captain Solniak, but he just told me to "wait," and the boy soldier Morph was completely bored.

The trees along Ougari Old Road have completely changed color in the last half moon or so, and every time the wind blows, the red and yellow leaves come down later. Trees that remain green shed brown fruit instead of leaves.

"It's a little tricky, but if you boil, shell, wash, and dry the dongles, they'll be sunny."

The old man at the funeral parlor said that, so while Captain Solniak and DJ Rafe were out, the juvenile soldier morphs became feathers picking up dongles.

... there's plenty to eat... no, it doesn't mean the pinas can get away with eating.

Morph pinches with stone and breaks the shell, peeling apart the contents of the dongle and the shell with his nails. The shell was also taught to fuel and stored in a different bag from the fruit.

Medvege, who does the same work next door, says without resting his hands.

"Boy, look at that. Nature's Monya, it's a waste of time. Dongles become preserved foods, shells become fuel, ashes become fertilizers and something"

"Hmmm......"

Respond carelessly and look at the bag under your feet.

... How many days is this for?

The funeral parlor Agoni had picked up the dongle and the radio old man Giorchi was caged in the truck carrier to organize the information.

Once every few days, DJ Rafe takes Captain Solgnac, but I'm still not convinced by the boy soldier Morph.

After the explosion, the day after we rendezvoused here, Captain Solgnac and Medvege, plus the old man on the radio, begged me.

"They have no knowledge of weapons or combat, even if they have land surveys. I can detect the damage to a certain extent."

"And you broadcast it in my voice. If the government forces and the police find you, they'll catch you."

The state-broadcast veteran announcer is a super celebrity with almost no Nemoralis people who don't know his voice. I even know Morph, who was born and raised in Barack Street in the autonomous community of Listwar. The people who could listen to the radio didn't have a wack they didn't know.

"Well... the old man on the radio is in danger"

When Juvenile Morph snorted convincingly in that regard, the adults were clearly (openly) horrified. Morph mumbled and pointed to the old man of the people of the lake.

"But the captain is not a wizard. The funeral parlor old man used to be in the army, didn't he? Old man, go."

"Boy, I'm not a soldier. I was just helping the Royal Army as a funeral parlor a long time ago, and I don't even know what a weapon Imadoki is."

"And boy, don't point fingers at other people like that."

Medvege grabs Morph's wrist and pulls him down forcefully.

Morph waved (about) the driver's hand and turned to Captain Solgnac. The captain's eyes are as calm as lake water. The "I don't want you to go," one word disappeared in the back of my throat.

As I chewed my lips and wept, DJ Rafe came in between me.

"I don't know how to fight either, but Mr. Agoni taught me [Invisible Shield] so I can prevent one shot"

"But..."

The technique was certainly taught by the spelldoctor Septentorio to the Fraxinus men at the base of the guerrilla on the island of Lanterna. I only saw a little practice, but the shield unfolded in time and everyone was getting wet with the [manicured water] of the spelldoctor.

"You just know the spell, you can't use it."

When Morph was reluctant, Medvege said with a gentle slap on his back.

"Even if you can't get in with the brothers and sisters in the bakery, you'll need someone to protect them if they come running over here. If I could see you over there, the captain would do something to pull me over.... Hey, captain?

"If I could see you, I would do everything I could, but I don't know where you are or the name of the company. Morph, no excessive expectations, but I need you to get me some food in case they get out of here."

"... Yes"

Juvenile soldier Morph couldn't say he wanted to go instead of the captain, and he had no choice but to take orders.

Every day, he picked up firewood and dongles, picked herbs that became vanilla tea and herbs that became wound pills, and then also picked insect cotton. Without the pharmacist Awellana, it would not be a magic drug, but when I went to the city, it would be an exchange.

The captains are going to the capital for the sixth or seventh time today.

I pay for vanilla tea for information, and every time, I write things down in my notebook and come back.

Only once, I brought back newspapers. Thinner than any newspaper I've ever seen.

That day, a dark voice leaked by the state-broadcast Jorch when he saw a perky newspaper stirred Morph's anxiety.

"You seem to have difficulty sourcing paper and ink. Put the pictures so small and pack the info..."

Under the article, where advertisements usually line up, company relocation announcements and lists of individual hospitals that continue to operate and practice were occupied. Funeral home Agoni peeps from the side and snorts.

"It's open to dentists, ophthalmologists and otolaryngologists... you're just a science doctor"

... There's no paper in the paper, but it's science medicine. You got it?

Like the pharmacist (dull) Awellana, it's not a wax you can make on the spot as long as you get the ingredients. So I guess the city of Kulbunika, which was near the Autonomous Region, was called the "Healthcare Industry City" etc.

Juvenile soldier Morph harvested food, fuel, and medicine materials as he prayed for the safety of the pinas.

... This is all I can do right now.

Chew down your remorse and keep quietly peeling off your dongle shell.

Now, the sun shoots into the lounge and it's quite warm, but the morning and evening winds are shivering cold enough. If the Pinas could leave the capital on foot, would they freeze on the way? Morph didn't mind.
