"That. And your father, by the way?

"Your father is an exorcist."

"Dragon!?"

Dragons are the most powerful species of all monsters.

Even if I'm not an adventurer, I know that the dragon is strong.

Famous enough to be used in synonyms for 'strong' and 'big' things.

But Laura has never seen a dragon yet.

"Yes. I hear a dragon has settled in the woods near the next town. Your father's on a business trip because he asked me to take him down."

"Neighboring town...... can I see the dragon if I hurry!?"

Laura twitches.

The Gildrea Adventurers School has a school rule: 'While in school, you must not fight monsters above the C-rank designation'.

Dragons are the highest A-rank.

So I can't fight, but I still want to see it at first sight.

Charlotte and Anna seemed to feel the same way and began to twitch together.

But.

"Your father left yesterday, so I think it's about time you knocked him out and came home."

"Hey."

To her mother's answer, Laura drops her disappointing shoulder.

"Ugh. If you're a dragon, you're sitting on Laura's head. It feels bigger than home."

"I guess that's similar..."

Laura unloaded the hack from overhead and tried to hold it with both hands.

"Pi?

Haku moves his hands and feet with jitter.

Lovely.

"Hmmm... not compelling..."

"Is the real dragon such a cute face, too?

"This hack is not compelling, but my parent hack felt like a dragon"

"Oh, if you ask me! So when Haku grows up, he becomes powerful."

"Pi!"

Haku spread his wings basically. Maybe he's going to be making a force.

"Hey, we're home."

And I heard Laura's father Bruno there.

"Welcome back, Father"

"I'm interrupting. Wow."

"Master, welcome back. Thanks again for your help."

"Whoa, you guys, you were here. Just fine. I brought you some meat from the tail of a dragon."

"" "Dragon-tailed meat!?" "

Hearing a rare word, Laura and the three of them shout aloud.

Such an interesting reaction from Laura and the others, Bruno laughed nibbly and took the paper wrap out of the bag and put it on the table.

It's bigger than a person's head.

When I opened the wrap, there was a lump of meat there.

It has a urchin around it and a bone remains in the middle of the cross section.

That's exactly what it feels like to have a dragon tail cut into rings.

"Wow! This is just bigger than Huck!

"Pi."

"Oh. It's been a long time since I've had dragon meat. Could it have been the first time since Laura was born?

Dora, who finished making omelettes, has stared uncommonly.

"I've never eaten dragon meat before, so I'm sure it's the first time."

"I've never eaten a dragon, either. I've never seen them sold in the first place."

"I've never eaten either. Or can you eat dragon meat?

They've never had Charlotte and Anna as well as Laura.

I guess the fact that even rich Charlotte hasn't experienced it is a ruthlessly valuable ingredient.

"The number of individuals in the dragon is low. Even if someone does, they are rarely on the market because they are too huge to carry. I just got a piece of my tail, too. They're going to spend the rest in the next town."

"Uh, the whole dragon? Aren't you greedy?

Laura speaks simple questions.

I don't know how big the dragon Bruno knocked down is, but assuming it's about the same size as Huck's parents, you shouldn't be able to eat it or not.

"Whoa. You're not eating alone or for two. Eat the whole town. Besides, it's winter now, so it won't rot. It'll be gone before spring."

"Oh well. If they say so, maybe so."

No matter how big the dragon, if I ate every day with a thousand people or something, I'd feel like I'd be gone in no time.

"I already made omelettes for lunch, but it's a dragon steak at night. I can't eat it once, so I can eat it tomorrow."

Dragon steak.

That's a hell of a word.

It's the strongest steak in the world.

I'm sincerely flattered to think that the folks in the neighboring town can eat that stuff every day.

"Laura, there's a yodel in here."

"Wow."

Dora points me out, and Laura rushes to wipe with a handkerchief.

"Do you want that much dragon meat? Better than your mother's omelet?

Your mother's omelet!

Before that word, even the dragon steak gets sumptuous.

No matter how rare dragon meat is, it's still the most powerful omelet in the world for Laura.

"Nothing tastes better than your mother's omelet!

"Ugh. Laura's always happy to say that. Take out your father's plate. I'll have lunch."

We split the extra-large omelet between five and one, and we all ate it.

No matter how many times you eat it, whenever you eat it, it tastes great.

My cheeks are going down.

but that was also Laura looking forward to the dragon steak.
