Episode 146: The Living Frontline of the Brave I

Family restaurant a short distance from college.

It's a little more expensive than where I work part-time, but the space at the table is also large for that matter, and it's a relatively calm atmosphere.

Naturally, there aren't many college guys I go to who are overflowing with financial patients, even if it's convenient to be close to the station, and I've only come enough with one hand since I enrolled.

How much exactly?

Hmm, can you imagine a little over a thousand yen a pasta with meat sauce?

As a family for that matter, it tastes pretty good.

Oh, there are five kinds of parfaits. Shall I bring the Leirias next time?

There are four men and one woman in front of and beside me looking at the menu, that is, at the same table.

"Uh, well, Omar shrimp and Aussie beef sirloin grilled plates and seafood dolia, eggplant and ground beef bolognese all in large plates, then a warm vegetable salad and dessert with a parfait of berries and mango, oh, and coffee,"

I received a thankful word to ask for whatever I wanted, so I will order without any hesitation. Wow! It totalled nearly 8,000 yen.

The waitress with the ordering terminal said, 'Is that all? Seriously?' for a moment, but let's not have a boy college student lick. I can afford this much.

The man in front of him is a little drawn, but next to him is a flat look.

"Is that all you need? What about soup?"

"Oh, is that good? Then add the beef tongue stew"

Sweet all over your words.

Yeah, would it be the eighth minute of your stomach if you ate this much?

"Sorry about the other day!

When everyone's order was over and Mr. Weightless walked away, Kanzaki seniors, a man who, in large part, sat diagonally in front of him to the right, bowed his head.

"Apologize from me, too. I apologize for making you feel uncomfortable because our members were on track to stir it up. Look! And the zodiac."

"Ah, Kashiwaki, hon. Sman! The event was so exciting that it was a little too much to stir up, and the truth came out. Ouch! That hurts."

In turn, Senior Kanzaki, chairman of Media Studies (third grade), who was in charge of MC at Miss & Mister Con at the Academic Festival, and a guy named Zodiac, who was stirring up in the MC (also three years in Koitsu).

"No, we didn't expect that either. Kashiwaki was very popular in the pre-ballot, and he said it would be exciting because his name was known, so I just cooperated. Oh, really!

"Eh, I certainly wasn't expecting that far. I knew you were being hit, so I thought you'd have some booming, but I let you out that you'd be out of gas somewhat."

Then Senior Takao and Senior Okazaki.

I mean, the Zodiac guy is for real! And if Senior Okazaki was expecting you, tell me!

Sodo has his head poked as little as he can by the chairman, and Senior Okazaki is also staring at Senior Kanzaki and clapping his neck.

As you can see from the flow so far, today is more than two weeks after the school festival has already ended, but since my mother's discharge and preparation for the acceptance of the newborn twins, the twins are too cute to lecture softly and I can knock them down, I have been busy loving the twins, and since the calm of what Senior Kanzaki had contacted me.

Um, I heard that the apology meant I could get a treat for my eyes today, and I didn't hesitate to order it.

Me personally, the incitement and booing at that event sure isn't funny, but I don't care enough to make a blink.

As I said to Sy, if I had a monopoly on as many as four beautiful girls as I wasted, I'd have been woven to the point of oblivion and jealousy.

If they sell the fight directly, I'll handle it quite a bit, but I think it's acceptable and I have to do a little booing and harassment. Well, I'm not at all willing to forgive you if you exceed your limits or do something around me.

"Whatever it takes, it's on us who forced us to show up. I don't expect to apologize to you for your meal, but tell me if you need anything else."

Senior Kanzaki bows his head again. but as far as I'm concerned, I hope it means chara at dinner today. Because you flew for me, didn't you, Furoyoshi?

"This will do. It was originally predictable, and I don't care."

"Whoa! Sasa but Harlem King. I knew it wasn't! Ryugo, I'm kidding, my face sucks and my face sucks!

Senior Okazaki, who is in good shape, is grabbed by Senior Kanzaki in the face. Please, do more.

Yeah, well, they just told me my share of the tally results of the vote. It seems to be non-public, except for first and second place, which means it would be somewhat comforting if I cared.

Because they actually placed fourth in the results. Apparently not so many people voted negative for all that booing. It's an unexpected big fight.

I guess that means I was just making noise at the festival nori after all.

In fact, there has been no major harassment, except that people will laugh at me before and after the festival and spread weird rumors.

For this reason, it was Kido who shined in the crown of Mr. Campus.

... handsome.

I ask you to take a full apology and make it normal for me later.

It's hard to eat rice even if it's made too weird. Oh, Omar shrimp is delicious.

Can't you take a souvenir or something?

I've never seen Omar shrimp for sale.

The food is carried one after the other, and the air is loose as you start eating.

The chairman of Medicine Research and Zodiac were almost close to meeting each other for the first time, but that's the same college student of the same sex there. If you start to crack it down, it will be early.

Zodiac also said earlier what the real deal is, but jealous of hot men is what every man goes through.

Though some nagging half of the words mix a little, they basically seem social and bright enough to slap each other lightly right away.

And if the men and women of three or four years of college get together, the topic will still be about employment, except for sex.

"Speaking of which, what happened to Senior Kanzaki and Senior Okazaki getting a job? I heard that Senior Zhaoxiong is a law student."

"Oh, I've decided to be a foreign-owned financial institution. Mahogany is a general position in electrical equipment manufacturers."

"We were both set for spring, weren't we? Oh, so I got an acceptance notice for law school in Tokyo."

Both Kanzaki and Okazaki seniors are reserved for well-known companies like anyone has ever heard of.

I'm jealous, no, I'm jealous.

Until a few years ago, non-science college students had a pretty hard time getting a job, but now they have a seller market going on.

Nevertheless, in this day and age, it seems that the popularity of excellent companies in many respects is concentrated in the fact that it is an internal atmosphere or the reality of working conditions that makes it easy to gather information online, so the competition is quite intense when we aspire to such companies, which means that we both stunningly got through that difficulty.

Senior Kanzaki is convinced, but Senior Okazaki only thinks the recruiter's eyes are rotten.

I seriously think that anyone who owns shares in that company should sell them all out by the time Senior Okazaki works.

Anyway, I've been attending college-sponsored job support seminars and gathering information on companies in various occupations since around the summer, too, but they're 'slow to get moving' to listen to my friends.

Few of the guys in the department actually have already been interviewed to get insiders.

I am in a bit of a hurry inside.

I'm sure many of you have heard of the news and something like, 'The EESC made the time for the lifting of the ban on interviews the fourth spring,' but this EESC, officially the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations, does have a lot of influence. In fact, however, about 1400 companies are members.

The number of companies in Japan as a whole is 3.8 million, of which there are about 11000 large companies alone, so only a small number of companies are members.

Moreover, this time of employment ban is only the guiding principle sought by the EMU from member companies, with no coercion, no penalties.

So naturally many companies that want to secure outstanding students are enclosing students from an earlier stage just because it doesn't matter.

Plus, there are internships.

This is a system whereby 80% of college students actually have a work experience in a company while they are in school and experience the atmosphere, work flow, and knowledge required for their work within the company.

It doesn't mean they'll be in immediate favor of getting a job, but some of them seem to be half-compulsory for students wishing to get a job.

Although the system is often criticized for making people work unpaid.

The internship has been for three summers to winter, but I haven't done it yet.

The reason why I was so thrilled that it was my mother's birth relationship is that considering it's November already, I'm thinking about what I'm going to do after the limit is full.

"I've got three media affiliates and a programming company, and I'm waiting for the results."

"I'm four companies. The media system is highly competitive, so I also sign up for a part-time job with the broadcaster. It seems to be advantageous to have a little experience."

When Zodiac says his current progress, the chairman of Medicine Research also nods and responds.

Looks like the two guys from the same school year have already made concrete moves.

If you ask me, you think I have a few internships?

... Seriously?

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.

"What about Kashiwaki getting a job? You haven't done anything with that look yet, have you? You mean, Omae, you make a lot of money selling accessories online, don't you? You don't need a job, do you?

"No, no, no, I'll live, too! Because online sales are only a side business."

Object to Senior Okazaki's words.

I do have quite a few acce sales so far, or quite a few. That's what makes a general salarier earn above average in net income, but there's no guarantee this will go on forever, and I'm not going to get out to college and pull it home in the first place without making use of it.

Not to mention trying to get as many as four daughters. You can't do that.

"Kashiwagi, what is your desired job title? He's doing pretty well, so unless he's one of the most popular companies in the world, isn't he gonna be okay? Our college employment rate is high."

"Preferred Job Title… Uh-huh…"

"Kashiwagi, are you sure you haven't decided on that, too?

It hurts what Senior Kanzaki said like a shudder.

I was thinking about it for once. I mean, honestly, the more I think about what kind of job I want to get, the less I know.

When I first got into college, I was vague but wanted to get a job in finance, and for that I aspired to an economics department.

That shouldn't have changed with college lectures, but two years later, I was forced to live in a different world. As you know, the experience there forced me to change my values intensely.

Without the Internet in the other world, the financial system is barely functioning.

Compared to modern Japan, the convenience and complexity of the system differ as much from that of a newborn baby as an adult, although the chamber of commerce guild created by the merchants had a very preliminary bank-like role such as lending and settlement.

So much so that if we go to the border, we can still even exchange in barter.

So in the other world, people who create things, who distribute them, who protect them, were desperately in charge of their work every day.

When I came back to Japan and looked at my financial work, it seemed like a funny thing to swing to an empty, unrealistic substitute.

Of course, the current financial system and business transactions have emerged and developed from a variety of histories, numerous failures and lessons, as well as sources of contemporary richness. So I'm not going to deny that at all. In the first place, we all live with that benefit, so I'm not complaining either.

I just don't feel like I get the job and feel like I'm worth living anymore.

Nevertheless, even if they asked me what other work I wanted to do, I didn't really know what I was doing as I was choosing an undergraduate to lecture around financial relations.

If this is the case, I don't think it would have been a good idea to keep it in another department of science or engineering, but that is now.

Therefore, it can be true that we are now looking for job descriptions that will attract interest while gathering information around major companies and advanced mid-sized companies in various occupations.

Senior Kanzaki's place of employment seems to be financially related, so I will explain the area with a blur. But blurring makes me look like an asshole student who hasn't thought about the future, so my gaze hurts.

"... well, good luck"

"Well, we'll figure it out, won't we?

"Zamaa."

"Yes, I'm fine. Kashiwagi, maybe."

"3,000 yen for those who fail to get a job"

Remember Sodo and Senior Okazaki later.

"If that's what you're gonna say anyway, shouldn't you do a further internship?

"Right. Wouldn't it be a little more visible if you actually went through the workplace?

Opinion of Senior Kanzaki and Senior Takao.

That's true.

I can't afford much at times, and I'll try to pick up some companies when I get home.
