King of Hollywood

Chapter 221: Some Things Are Simple

The dusk sun, already at sea level, is settling at a rate that the naked eye can't see, and the orange light covers villas the size and size of the coastline, giving a sense of impending extinction. The distant sea level is sparkling, reflecting the light of the sunset, and the frequency of the bushes on the hillside with the breeze fluctuations is surprisingly consistent and feels unusually harmonious.

“I used to encounter something unhappy, and I didn't want to tell my family that I would drive here, sometimes with my best friend, Crowe, but more often alone. When you look at these beautiful images, things that are uncomfortable are inadvertently thrown behind your head.” Adrian sat on the hood of the car with a bottle of soda water, leaning against the windshield, looking softly at the view at the foot of the mountain.

Silver-white Masalati stops off the road on a hillside facing the sea and looks out to see the beauty.

Julia also sat on the hood with a windshield, sipping soda water without talking, even though she was a little shorter than Adrian and was cuffed to her shoulder. She wears simple t-shirts and jeans, large * waves over her shoulders and complements the view in front of her.

“Why don't you tell me how you feel.” Adrian stopped for a few seconds and looked at Julia.

“Well... it's beautiful indeed.” Julia shrugged her shoulders with hesitation and added immediately: “Very beautiful. ”

“Come on, Julie, that's not sincere.” Adrian sighed as if he was feeling sorry for himself.

“What do you think I should say?” Julia held the bottle's hand on her bowed knee and asked Adrian if she could see it.

“At least say one or two words, 'Wow, that's nice’ or ‘Yes, Ed, I like that'.” Adrian deliberately pointed at her voice and said, "Don't do this again, Ed. ”

Looking at Adrian's puzzled eyes, Julia sat up and took a deep breath: “Don't make me laugh like this anymore. Don't say that to me again, Ed. This will only make me...”

“Let you what?” Adrian's gaze suddenly became aggressive, reaching for her waist and limbs and carrying them into her arms.

Julia drummed up and glared at him: "Are you listening to me or not? ”

“Of course, so...” Adrian shrugged her shoulders and lowered her head to kiss her lips.

Whimpering a few more times, she slipped her legs again, and Julia eventually softened down and swapped the liquid with Adrian.

“It's very memorable.” She left the woman's lips with silver silk, but then leaned over and sucked, before Adrian sighed in an arguing tone.

“I knew... Ed... you bastard, I would actually believe you.” Julia, don't get over the redness of her face and hate, she's obviously blaming herself for getting in his car again.

“I didn't say I couldn't kiss you.” Adrian laughed and sniffed her face with her nose and suddenly asked, "Remember the first time we met, Julie? ”

Julia closed her eyes and didn't look back or speak.

“You wore a black dress with a v-neck and I had a crush on it, and I remembered that the perfume you were wearing was Lancôme's precious collection, and then, at my suggestion, Chanel was used until now.” Adrian didn't think he was laughing, “You know, when I first saw you, I had a vague idea, and that thought became clearer with you after last year's Oscar Awards ceremony. ”

And Adrian settled in here, brewing to be more persuasive, and went on to say, "I told myself I was going to make her unique in Hollywood."

“You... what did you say?” Julia opened her eyes and couldn't believe it.

I said, "Adrian stared into her eyes," I'm gonna make you unique in Hollywood, Julie. "

“The existence of uniqueness?” Julia's mouth twitched, seemed to want to laugh, but Adrian didn't laugh in earnest. “How... can it be the first of its kind? ”

“Take, for example, 20 million films; be a representative of an independent Hollywood woman; get, for example, the best Oscar actress.” Adrian whispered gently in her ear.

Julia trembled slightly, and then she couldn't believe it. Adrian said, "Take 20 million pieces? Representation of independent women? Oscar's best actress? You... are joking, Ed. ”

“Do you think I'm joking, Julie?” Adrian suddenly raised her chin up and looked down at Julia, and her strong appearance made her barely speak.

“Remember what I told you when I invited you to" Four Weddings, One Funeral "?” Adrian goes on to say, "This character was initially a light-hearted woman, but I thought of your Vivian, and I thought of my idea of your image, so I finally changed the script. My decision has proven to be correct, and although the film has not yet been completed, I am sure it will be very popular. ”

“But... but...” Julia struggled to say.

“I know what you're thinking, Julie,” Adrian smiled softly, some fingering up a woman's chin, "but I was wondering, who else could do something like this at my age? ”

Juliette was silent, and many of the filmmakers and producers were better than Adrian, but how many were able to do so at the age of 25? How many are better than Adrian at running a media company, but how many can achieve this at the age of 25? Although Adrian had not spontaneously told anyone, Julia knew through some contacts that he was chairman of AC Media.

And how many do you do both at 25? Think of his title, Miracle Director. What does that mean?

Julia kept telling herself to calm down, but what if she calmed down? Wouldn't she be upset about what Adrian said when she calmed down?

“Look at this beautiful view, Julie.” Adrian then looked at the vast ocean beneath the mountains and, unknowingly, the orange sun had set, leaving only a burning cloud, burning the grey sky red.

“Beautiful, isn't it? Impressive, but it will eventually disappear.” Adrian sighed, “Though you can still see it this time tomorrow, there is something different. Not everything repeats itself, so everyone wants to leave their own, unique mark, right? ”

He looked at Julia, snuggled in her arms, and she looked at the still fluctuating white coastline and that gorgeous independent villa, and half a mile later muttered: “I... I...”

She wanted to show her toughness, but Adrian didn't give her a chance to pinch her chin and lean over again to kiss her red lips. Although Julia still struggled, as before, she couldn't help but soften herself after two strokes.

The sea breeze blew slightly, the swinging bushes sounded sandy, dim with a little bit of sky, a man and a woman hugging and kissing on the hood of a car parked on a hillside, like a beautiful picture.

There are things that are really simple, that are just tempting, especially women who are in contradiction. There may be a kind of saint in the world who is not for himself, but it is definitely not in the entertainment world.

Adrian and Julia kissed for a long time on the hillside and said many things that made her feel much better until it was completely dark before she left. And then we went to a restaurant, we had dinner, we went shopping, and Adrian sent Julia home -- unfortunately, because she's been through so much today, she's not going to go to Dennis's party again.

Adrian wasn't planning on spending the night at Julia's either, so don't worry about it until she digests it. Of course, after all the effort, a little bit of welfare should still be needed, but sometimes it's easy to be happy and sad.

The siren rang, then the lights flashed twice in the back. Adrian, who was sucking the cool air in the excitement, awoke when he settled in, and slowed down quickly, whispering, "There's a cop.”

Julia sat up in a panic, pulled her clothes slightly red, fixed her hair, sprayed some minty oral cleanser into her mouth, looked behind her and asked nervously: "They... they didn't see? ”

“I don't think so, don't worry.” Adrian comforted himself by pulling up the zipper and parking the car on the street.

“Sir, would you show me your driver's license, please?” A white policeman, almost thirty years old, stepped out of a police car and knocked on the window next to Adrian's car, saying.

“Okay," Adrian put down the window and handed over his driver's license, "is there a problem? ”

“Your car is a little skewed on the road.” The police looked over at the driver's license and said, "Can I get out of the car? ”

He was very polite, obviously knowing that the people in the car had identities.

“Forget it, if you can,” Adrian said with a smile, "I can assure you that neither I nor my girlfriend smoked * * before, because something fell on the floor, and that's why that happened. ”

The police looked at him and apparently didn't approve of the statement. Adrian sighed, waved to the police and whispered in his ear, "Look, man, even if you don't know me, should you know someone around me, Julia? Miss Roberts. ”

The policeman's eyes suddenly lit up and he looked at Julia, who was sitting in the co-pilot's proper look, and he confirmed, and he gave an apologetic expression: "I'm so sorry for the delay in your date, Miss Julia, A… Mr. Adrian. ”

He quickly returned Adrian's driver's license, said a few more words and asked for a signature before leaving, and naturally threw things as far away as getting out of the car was concerned.

“I thought you could handle him by yourself.” Julia sighed with her eyes rolled.

“Well, don't be angry.” Adrian said with a smile.

“Never again will I make it for you...” Julia bites her lips angrily.

“Well, it's all right now.” Adrian Haha smiled and kissed her in the face, "I'll take you home right away. ”

The car started again, but neither of them noticed that flashes had just come on in the alley across the street from time to time.
