King of Hollywood

Chapter 221: Sniffing

“Damn, that's mine, Alan." Mark? Ruffalo looked at his companion angrily, skinny, with a two-handed beard, Alan? Luther, just a few seconds ago, he reached out and grabbed the fries he hadn't moved in front of himself, and he wasn't even happy to eat them, and he laughed at him hey twice.

“I know it's yours, but you haven't moved. I thought you didn't need it, so just do yourself a favor.” Alan shrugged his shoulders and quickly stuffed the fries in his mouth as if Mark would snatch them back.

“You think?” Mark turned a white eye, "I'm really curious, Alan, why do you eat so much hot food that you're still not fat? Or should I order you some more burgers? ”

“That would be great if you wanted to.” Alan Haha laughed.

Mark turned a white eye again, shook his head and looked out the dining room window, and started nagging: “God knows why they let you partner with me and do it for months... which idiot says there are so many stars on the street? I * * have been walking back and forth here for almost a night and I haven't seen a single person. Obviously, today's camera is fine again... Oh, why am I always so unlucky that I can't even get a little gossip on the news...”

Is this Mark? Rufflow, about 25 years old, wears a baseball cap in reverse, a few laps of metal chains around his neck, and a big metal ring on his thumb, like a man playing rock and roll, is a reporter for a tabloid. Of course, the name paparazzi might be more precise, but Mark prefers to live by himself as a journalist.

Without those faceless features, a qualified puppy must have at least a keen sense of observation to distinguish celebrities from the crowd. Unfortunately, Mark lacks such skills, and it's perfectly normal not to hear from him for ten and a half days, which means the paparazzi's doorbell is low, otherwise he would have been swept out long ago.

Even so, he is now under pressure from the editor-in-chief, whose sales are slowly declining, who has clearly told him that if he can't get any more gossip news, he will roll up and leave.

So Mark deliberately found a well-informed friend to inquire about, came to the street to watch the rabbit, unfortunately stayed an afternoon and a half, and didn't get a picture. As for his partner Alan, this guy has nothing but eating, drinking and drinking. Like him, he is a loser in the paparazzi. The only reason Mark tolerates him is that only he listens to his nagging and rarely disproves or shows impatience.

“Ah, what a lovely evening. Looks like we're going to die.” Out of the dining room Mark is still nagging, and he feels that today's hopes are slim and that he may be fired tomorrow.

“Perhaps we will soon discover the big news.” Alan was a rare comfort to him, but he didn't take it personally: “I don't know how many times I've said this to myself, but it doesn't help to improve the current situation, maybe I should go back to being another reporter, such as reporting on police checks on illegal vehicles... etc.”

Mark suddenly screamed, his eyes blinking and staring across the street, a silver-white masalati parked on the side of the road and a policeman questioned him in front of the window. From their direction, you can see the woman sitting in the co-pilot.

“What happened?” He startled Alan when he asked.

“Wait, wait, wait." Mark took the camera around his neck and adjusted the focal length to the car across the street. Soon, his hand began to tremble.

“Alan, take a look." Mark took a deep breath and shoved the camera into Alan's arms. "Look at the woman in the co-pilot. Isn't that Julia? Roberts? Isn't it?"

“I'm watching, take it easy.” Alan lifted the camera for a few seconds and looked closely, "well, I thought, should, yes. ”

“Awesome, come here," Mark pulled Alan so excitedly into a nearby alley, and then focused on the car, he started pushing the shutter frantically.

“See, Alan, he's kissing her. The man's kissing Julia? Roberts, that's great. We caught the big news this time." Mark's tone was full of excitement, he never stopped. "Oh, yeah, you know that guy? He seemed a little familiar. ”

“Let me see, let me think.” Alan also pulled the binoculars out of his backpack and looked at the street car from a different angle, "It seemed like... it seemed like... the miracle director.”

“Which miracle director?” Mark just asked and slapped himself in the head, "Yes, Adrian? Kowell, the guy who won the Best Adapted Screenplay Award in March and won the Oscar Best Director nomination for two consecutive sessions, is also the youngest best director nomination record holder. ”

“And a series of titles like workaholic, ghost director, genius director, he used two films in this year's Oscar to make Al? Pacino and Emma? Thompson received the best male and female lead and six nominations in his personal capacity. I also heard that he was supposed to have three best director nominations.” Alan, as several Janes have said.

Mark finally found that his partner had a little bit of merit, but this is not the time to talk about it.

“Well, then the title does now, don't you think?" Julia? How about Roberts and the miracle director? Or "Moonbeauty makes out with miracle director in the car”? Oh, my God, I'm so excited, I almost saw the bonus check from the editor-in-chief, and I think it must have something to do with my prayers in church yesterday, maybe every week I should teach... damn they're leaving. ”Mark, who began to nag without realizing it, suddenly shouted and followed Alan to his car. Unfortunately, when they opened the door, the silver-white Masalati disappeared.

“Oh, shit," Mark yelled angrily, "how much would it cost to get that guy into Julia's house, if I could get that...”

“Well, Mark, I've taken enough pictures today.” Alan was relieved to say that he was open to it.

“Enough? How is that possible?” Mark was still unwilling to scream, "If I could get a picture like that, I'd bet the number on the bonus check would at least double."

“But the problem is that we can't catch up now,” Alan's hands flashing, his moustache trembling, "so instead of complaining here, why don't we just go back and flush the photo out and pick out the most valuable one. ”

Mark glared at his partner half a mile and waved to the car: "That's right, we'll be right back."

When "The Moon Beauty” Julia and “The Miracle Director” Adrian traveled on a date, got questioned by the police and went on to make out in the car "was published in the Matteville Weekly News, the distribution of this small claim, worth thousands of dollars, immediately doubled.

“… it was clear from the photographs that Adrian and Julia were having a great laugh in the car, and when the police arrived, Julia deliberately lowered her head and didn't seem to want to be recognized, but a few minutes later she talked to the police again. That's why we don't know, but what we can confirm is that the star famous for" The Moon Fancy "is indeed dating a miracle director with a lot of titles like workaholic, and I'm sure they'll have a great night. After being questioned by the police, they made out again and drove away in a hurry. I guess I don't want to bring the police here anymore...”

The story, like most tabloids, exaggerates randomly, falsifies facts, falsifies the truth, fools readers, creates events, such as the one mentioned above, and is very obvious in suggesting how the two men led the police here.

But if it's just a text story, it usually only attracts people who have a strong curiosity about gossip, even if it's just something they've seen and forgotten, sales may go up, but they may continue to decline.

But this time around, there are several clearer pictures in the paper, and although they can't be compared to those in the high magnitude lens, they're pretty good compared to some of the photos that were taken secretly.

There were five photographs, the first with Julia lowering her head and Adrian talking to the police; the second with Julia and the police talking; the third with the police leaving and Adrian and Julia smiling what to say; the fourth, and most importantly, the shooter deliberately missed an angle so that Adrian clearly kissed Julia's cheek, but the photograph looked like a hot kiss; and the fifth, naturally, left with a smile after a kiss.

A picture is much more persuasive than the text, especially in this era where there is no ps, so as soon as it comes out, it attracts a lot of attention, and the mainstream media reproduces it and starts to follow the scandal.

After all, Adrian, while laying low for some time after the Oscars, has not broken news such as new films in New York about killers or minor injuries to the crew. And Julia's title of "Box Office Poison” is no longer mentioned, but it hasn't been long, and the image of "Vivian” has always been a favorite of many people. So they're all very newsworthy people, and how can entertainment media let that go?

So they quickly moved in, called two brokers, spyed on the news to well-informed people, analyzed the news in the paper to attract attention, and sent journalists outside the house. When the entertainment media industry as a whole begins to wave for this message, it can be much more efficient to get it than a single tabloid. It's just, unfortunately, they're not meant to get what they want.
