Glock’s power was surging, and his body seemed unable to withstand this strange force. Purple threads spread like a spider’s web beneath his skin; it was impossible to tell if they were bursting blood vessels or the corrosion of Chaos Power!

Every muscle in his body trembled, and each breath seemed to devour the air around him.

Henry watched with a cold gaze. Even if Glock managed to defeat him by some fluke, the backlash from this power would kill him swiftly after the battle. This was a power far beyond his control.

"This power does not belong to you," Glock said to Henry.

It was the power of Chaos, from... from... from his homeland?

Perhaps. Glock believed he came from Chaos, but he didn’t remember anything from his past.

"I will take your head as a blood sacrifice for the Blood God! You slaughtered the Inferior Horned Beasts and betrayed Chaos!"

Glock brandished his Riding Spear, intending to duel Henry one-on-one!

Henry frowned. ’What the hell is this thing blabbering about?’

Glock’s Riding Spear glinted coldly and his movements were swift, but Henry’s great axe was far heavier, leaving Glock’s arm numb.

Speed alone wasn’t enough; it was useless without sufficient force.

After a brief exchange, Henry clearly had the upper hand. Every one of his attacks forced Glock to retreat.

CRACK!

Glock’s Riding Spear clashed with Henry’s great axe again. The Riding Spear shattered under the heavy blow of the axe, sending fragments flying everywhere.

’That’s it?’ Henry raised an eyebrow. ’Looks like this Inferior Horned Beast was just too weak to begin with. Even with a special blessing from some mysterious power, there’s no way it could make a real breakthrough.’

He had originally planned to play it safe, to avoid getting killed by some dirty trick. Otherwise, all his hard work would have been for nothing.

Glock rolled on the ground, dodging Henry’s follow-up attack. He quickly picked up a battle-axe and shield from the ground and continued to fight Henry.

’Damn it, how is this big guy in black so damn strong?’

Henry’s warhammer came crashing down, easily shattering Glock’s shield. Wood splinters and iron shards flew everywhere, and Glock’s defense was utterly crushed.

He was powerless to resist!

Glock had gone berserk, losing his sense of self. All that remained was the instinct to fight.

Glock saw Henry’s warhammer whistling through the air as it came at him again. Gritting his teeth, he let out a roar. Instead of dodging or parrying, he swung viciously at Henry’s neck.

The one drawback: he was too short...

With his all-or-nothing attack, Glock managed to dent the chest of Henry’s black armor. The immense force of the impact sent Henry staggering back several steps.

The blow surprised Henry. He hadn’t expected Glock to be able to unleash such power in this state.

’And...’ Henry glanced at his chest. ’My armor is actually dented?’

’Incredible. Even powerful Lizardmen attacking with Obsidian Weapons could only leave white scratches on this miraculous armor. And it was actually damaged by this Inferior Horned Beast?’

At the same time, by committing to his attack, Glock left himself open to the returning warhammer.

Henry’s warhammer whistled through the air and crashed heavily into Glock’s head.

A huge hole was smashed into Glock’s head. Blood and brain matter steamed on the snow, giving off a white vapor.

Glock’s body collapsed. His fight was over.

Henry stood in place, looking at Glock’s corpse. He felt no joy of victory, only puzzlement.

’Fucking Chaos Power is starting to invade!’

’What the hell is going on?’ Henry racked his brain. ’This definitely isn’t my fault. It must be the Emperor’s inaction. Yeah, this is all the Emperor’s fault!’

Before Henry could think any further, his attention was captured by the scene before him.

Glock, who had been lying on the ground, was actually, slowly, climbing back up. Although his head was a mangled wreck, his body was still trembling, as if supported by an "unyielding" will.

’How is this possible?’ Henry muttered to himself, a flash of surprise in his eyes.

He was certain his warhammer blow had been fatal, yet Glock was rising again like an undead creature.

Henry was suddenly reminded of the Inferior Horned Beast he had seen when he first met the Prince. But that one hadn’t been this powerful, had it? How else could the Prince have captured it?

Or was the Prince hiding something?

At this moment, Glock’s body was barely recognizable. His head had been smashed almost beyond recognition by the warhammer, but even so, he was still standing there, swaying unsteadily.

The purple threads beneath his skin were even more distinct now, as if something inside his body was struggling to burst out.

The sight made Henry frown. ’This is getting pretty disgusting.’

Henry didn’t hesitate for a moment. He immediately brandished his great axe and warhammer and unleashed a furious barrage of attacks on Glock.

The great axe and warhammer fell in succession, and with each blow, Glock’s body became even more broken.

Under Henry’s assault, Glock’s body was torn to pieces, reduced to a mangled pulp.

Henry looked at the mincemeat on the ground and let out a breath. If not for the stamina he’d expended, Henry would have been willing to mince Glock completely to ensure he wouldn’t get up again.

The danger of Glock wasn’t his combat strength, but what he represented.

The power of the Four Gods had manifested in someone other than himself, and this lack of control frustrated Henry.

He didn’t know if Glock would suddenly mutate into some bizarre thing, so completely pulverizing his body was the safest option.
