Kuro no Maou

Episode 111: Firewall

Twenty-four assault units have fought on the banks of the river with all their martial arts, magic and shelter.

But the number of enemies coming across the river is not a hundred or two, even though it is impossible, numerically or topographically, for assault troops fighting with a thousand momentum not to let one of them pass behind them.

Diving through the arrows and magic rain, cutting through the blades of the assault unit, the infantry finally reaches the Alsace barrier.

But the soldiers could not yet cross the barrier, which was not very strong, by combining this low embankment with a wooden fence.

"What is this iron wire?"

The soldiers step without hesitation into the barbed wire bushes, which were surprisingly laid in front of the wall.

And you regret it when you step in, this spineless iron wire intertwines with the kind of pain that pierces your feet, and it terribly inhibits your movement.

"Ugh! Go home to your country, mortals!!

Soldiers who can barely move in front of the fence are only good adventurers who intercept inside the fence.

Consisting of an average rank of 2 and inferior in strength to the Assault Squad, they have nevertheless lived a dangerous adventurer's life for years, reaching the realm of skilled soldiers if you consider them soldiers.

The spear thrust out of the fence was actually into the hall, precisely taking the lives of crusader soldiers imprisoned by barbed wire.

But on the other hand, the Crusaders still push in that overwhelming number, and the number of soldiers fighting gradually increases before the barrier.

"Sister, isn't this about to suck!?

Hannah, a member of The Three Hounds Princess, who fights bravely like the legendary Battle Maiden (Valkyrie) in front of the Wall, speaks up unexpectedly.

"Calm down, it's still okay, the elves don't panic at any time.

Laura, are you ready?

"Yes, sister"

Hannah has already repeated the attack about five minutes ago of switching gear to a spear, not a bow, and piercing a soldier trying to get over the fence in a little while.

Meanwhile, firstborn Irina and second daughter Laura had wind thunder bows (silflights) in their hands, watching for lightning arrows that were bigger than normal.

In this situation, where a group of enemies is currently pushing over and meditating and shooting at the earliest possible moment will hit the enemy, there is no appearance of enemy soldiers ahead of Irina and Laura's target.

"Guys, stay away from the fence!

To Irina's voice, the adventurers swinging their spears in front of the Wall below Hannah take an immediate step back.

With a slight gap that stops, the soldiers stick to the fence at once and try to get over it.

"" 'Thunderbolt Emission (Line Blast)' "Huh!

It's the low-range attack magic of lightning that releases more than a bow at the same time, and you can't capture all the enemies pushing in front of the fence just because you fired two shots into that range of attack.

But barbed wire spreads at their feet, and it's wrapped tightly around the fence.

The thunder released from the wind thunder bow (silflite) is first sucked into the barbed wire surrounding the fence, which goes straight through an iron wire with a good electrical street and instantly energizes all the networks of barbed wire deployed.

At this moment, just barbed wire turned into current barbed wire.

Soldiers who stuck to the fence fell in the same motion as those who stopped at the reticle were pesticidated, and those who even stepped into the barbed wire bush lost the power to shock and fight.

"Look, you'll still be fine"

"Oh yeah......"

To Irina on the face who did it, Hannah felt the temperature difference between her sister and herself in tension.

"Everybody, stand up. The next one's coming!

The soldiers who arrived before the fence were almost swept away, but soon a subsequent enemy appeared.

We don't have time to rejoice in overwhelming numbers of enemies, and the adventurers once again turn to them in temper.

"Sister, it could be a little awkward next time"

Laura's calm voice hits Irina.

"What could it be? Though the fence hasn't broken anywhere yet."

"Not so, too many bodies"

On the other side of the fence Laura points her finger, where she lays down on the ground as a crossroads with no one who is dead or seriously injured and unable to move.

Naturally, it's not on the ground that's falling, it's on the barbed wire.

"No way, put the body on the scaffold..."

At the same time Irina noticed, it happened in reality.

The crusaders, who have pushed again, approach the body of their lying companion, or those who are still breathing, their bodies flat on their feet, to the barrier without being trapped by barbed wire.

"Temehe and others, it's sane to kick your people!

Someone from the adventurer screamed.

For adventurers who value teamwork, rather than the corpses of their companions, they did not even try to help those who were still alive, and the acts of crusader soldiers who use them as scaffolding as if they were objects were unforgivable.

But as a soldier, it can be considered a natural course of action, and in fact, on Earth, one way to break through the barbed wire is to push one's body into the scaffold.

No adventurer knows that more than Chrono, and crusader soldiers are just using it because they have a convenient scaffold in front of them.

"Sure, this could be awkward, this. Then we'll make another current attack, and we'll barely get electric shock"

From here on out, we just have to push our enemies back with force.

So ready, Irina and Laura pulled a bow, facing an enemy that gained more momentum than earlier, when

"Resurrected!

I heard an unforgettable demon explosion for a crusader soldier, along with the ringing.

Threatening bullets piercing every armor are shot out with a black muzzle flash, sounding gallery and mechanical.

"You kept me waiting, guys, machine gun resurrection!!

A storm of bullets with the power of a single hit special for humans strikes the Crusaders again.

Mozurn grabs the grip of a machine gun and shoots it all over at the soldiers who arrive on the fence with full dark magic.

"Phew, you're back in good time."

Irina, who showed some relief, looked back to give instructions.

"Well, I'll pick you up Mr. Chrono and the others."

Standing there is Fiona, a black witch in a different way than Chrono.

"Well, then, please."

"Yes, I've been entrusted"

Fiona took a huge whistle out of the Tongari hat, arguably a witch's trademark.

Pull your little lips over to the horn and breathe in gently,

Vuououoon

A loud tone echoed all the rage of the soldiers, the shooting noise of the machine guns, and the scratching off of the sound of the battle.

The sound was certainly enough to reach the ears of the struggling assault unit, the Chronos, beyond the barrier.

"It's a signal for the horn! Everybody out!!

When I hear a distinctive horn tone in my ear, I give an immediate retreat order.

Even so, I've already informed all of the retreat and assault units with the signal of the horn, so they should retreat without having to hear my words.

"Ugh! Call me. Hey, whoa!!

Some of the bloody warriors apparently forgot the horn signal and immersed themselves in the battle.

It's about you, Vulcan.

"Demon Bullets (Barrett Arts)"

Bullets against Vulcan's side head, with the same soft warheads that we had when we duelled before.

"Ouch! Oh, my God, Chrono, you're not interrupting me!

About two soldiers flew away caught in the blow of a great sword wielded with anger.

"It's retreat, didn't you hear the whistle?

"Oh, no, there was also such a signal"

You, if I hadn't told you, how long were you gonna keep fighting here, until you died?

"Black Smoke (Smoke)"

In the meantime, the battle in my head takes a cup of brain muscle werewolves and rolls out a smokescreen to retreat promptly to the village.

I could see a soldier behaving warily, if poisonously, in the appearance of black smoke that stood up on a wide scale, but unfortunately none of this smoke has any offense, really just blinded me.

It's the first memorable black magic I used to escape from Sariel, and I think it's a pretty bad situation because no one is going to attack me exactly from across the smokescreen like then.

"A boulder is a skilled adventurer, and he's bright enough to leave."

They are starting to retreat by cutting through the siege immediately, having been surrounded by soldiers and playing a turmoil until earlier.

However, nothing stops the enemy's feet in this near-flat riverbed, falling back on us. Soldiers chase through the smokescreen.

"The Demons are retreating!

"Follow him! Follow him!

With this one showing a clear retreat, the Crusaders gain momentum.

If we just keep going straight down to the gate, we'll come in an avalanche at the same time as we enter the open gate.

Somewhere we have to stop our enemies to buy us a little time back to the village.

But that's not my job.

"Out of the way, Ola. Ah!

The face of the assault unit begins to clean up the enemy soldiers who were swarming the fence avoiding the assault unit, with Vulcan in the lead.

Soldiers in the form of temporary sandwiches are gently driven out of front of the gate where the assault unit waves the blade.

Yeah, that's fine if we don't put our enemies in front of the gate for now.

Twenty-four assault units gather in front of the barbed wire laid right after we left.

All you have to do is wait for me to pick you up later.

"Welcome back, Mr. Chrono"

Fiona's words reached my ear at the same time as she opened the door.

"Oh, I'm home"

An adventurer emerges from the open gate with his usual sleepy expression but with a grand standing Fiona, a long patterned tweezer from both sides of it, rather than an apparatus fitted with a nipper.

Their high-branched scissor-like stuff isn't a weapon, it's for cutting open and removing barbed wire.

Thanks to several exercises, or quick motion, I quickly cut off the barbed wire laid in front of the gate and make my way.

In the meantime, however, we saw an avalanche of enemy soldiers approaching before we could miss our chance to retreat and the gate opened.

"Then I asked for it"

"Yes -"

We walk back inside the gates, listening to Fiona's flowing chants, especially without worrying about our backs.

"Invalid"

I don't know what that chant means to me, but I do know what kind of magic you're about to activate.

That's the same lineage of defensive magic that saved me in the village of Iles.

The first time I saw it, I showed it with a huge flame wall that I thought was advanced, but the magic I'm going to use to stop the enemy's legs alone is now real advanced defensive magic.

"-" Firewall (Ignis Lampertdefan) ""

That erupts correctly.

Fire shields, flaming walls, and mountains of red flames that were filled with enormous amounts of heat, not enough in such an expression, were bursting out there.

Just as hundreds of soldiers could not stop it no matter how many humans jumped into the erupting crater, its' Firewall (Ignis Lampertdefan) 'had completely stopped them.

"... wow"

"Thank you"

Not only am I the one who thinks that, but my fellow adventurers, as well as even crusader soldiers who were watching for an opportunity to attack in front of the fence, are suddenly blinded by the huge mountains of fire that have emerged.

Thus, without letting one of the enemies in, all 24 of the returning assault troops were accommodated in the village, and again the gate was closed.

At the same time, I wondered if the flaming walls of the Red shone loudly like a mirage, and the next moment it disappeared like an illusion.
