Kuro no Maou

Lesson 233: Seven Major Crimes

I didn't know that the woman who was being attacked was Elina the receptionist...... would the world say this kind of thing is narrow?

It was an unexpected fact, but I was able to help someone who knew my face, and as a result, I couldn't complain.

But for that matter, Fiona didn't react very well, I think she was sending a rather chilling glance at me happily speaking.

Is there a nuance to this or is it Fiona who took down the killer so I don't have a big face?

Um, for that, Lily I was listening to with you. It was a cold reaction, too, and what the hell... No, well, maybe the cold reactions are just too much for me.

I guess it's not uncommon for both of us to help people as residents of this monster's wide walking otherworlds to have a daily tea meal, is it just silly of me to be excited about one?

Anyway, as I asked Miss Elina earlier, I took her to the library dedicated to Rank 3 or higher in order to obtain new monster information that had been lifted.

Even so, the one floor on the fourth floor is used as a round library, rather it boasts an accurate amount of books to say library.

This all includes monsters as well as other information about adventurers, such as weapons and magic, which in fact divides the room into multiple parts for each of its classifications.

So I'm in charge of the monster dossier and I'm entrusting Lily and Fiona with gathering other information.

Still neglecting the common sense of this world, I struggle to understand the contents of the book because there are unique nouns and unique rhetoric that don't make sense.

Monster information is OK if you can get to know the ecology and habitat, but materials that simply require reading skills, especially books about magic, are often handy.

It's such a wack, this kind of division of roles.

Well, for Fiona, who went to a magic college called Elysion Magic College, it seems unlikely she'll come across that many novel magic books.

"Now, I wonder if Mia will tell me what I need to do."

I closed my right eye and then looked around as I stepped into the library filled with books with monster information.

"... that's a hit"

It would be most frequently used, the back cover of several of the monster lists edited by the Alliance, glowing red and claiming its existence.

When I closed my left eye and looked at it only with my right eye, the red light still disappeared and I went back to the book without any philosophy.

Even if it's magic, the structure is a completely unknown eyeball, but let's say it's good because it's convenient.

I stacked it on a table with a list of lights and lowered my back to the chair as I opened the first book.

I seem to be the only one using this library right now, and it's really quiet.

The room, where only the sound of myself scrolling through the pages sounds, is kind of reminiscent of the high school literary and artistic department.

Even though I am afraid of such sentimental thoughts, I will run a pen on the blank paper with the information written in the dossier to make a note.

That information refers to the monsters of the new trials that followed Larspun.

Take less time and list the monsters that your left eye shows in red.

"Six more, huh?"

Six names were written on paper.

Gleedgore.

Slowsgill.

Pride gems.

Gratney oct.

Last rose.

Envy Ray.

It's like, "Seven big sins."

"Exactly, a demon bearing the name of sin deserves a offering to receive the protection of the Demon King"

What an unexpected response to the whining dialogue.

Looking back, Mia, dressed in the same seminary uniform she met in the square before, stands there.

"Oh, my God, that's so cool"

Haha, Mia, if I'm ashamed to say so, I wish I had.

But it would be pathetic to point that out.

"As always, it's sudden."

"Uh heh, sounds like a god, doesn't it?

Really? I think, but looking at some proud Mia, I'm willing to give in to try and keep you like that.

Most of all, at this stage, it feels like I'm dealing with a child named Mia rather than God anymore.

"Are you sure the rest of the trials are all about this crusade of six monsters?

Yeah, but you don't have to tell me why.

Defeating Larspun with the power of fire, I gained the ability to turn black magic into flames.

And it is stated that each of the six monsters we have just examined has powers specific to a single attribute.

Fire, water, ice, earth, thunder, wind, light, darkness, these eight are attributes in magic, and if you can handle all eight, you can name the Element Master in the true sense.

The six monsters left as my trial have all the attributes except fire and darkness.

"The transformation of black magic into all of its attributes, that's the power of protection."

"Well, at least that's all you get."

As Mia lowered her back to my front seat, she placed a large lunchbox on her desk to see where the hell she had taken it from.

Am I going to have lunch? I would pursue more meaningful words than for Mia's personal use.

"At the very least, what is this, something more than that?

"It's up to you to use your powers well.

Oh, but when you complete all the trials, there's more to it than that!

So good luck, and at the same time encouraging, Mia began to puff a big sandwich on the yakitori she took out of the open lunchbox.

The aroma of meat stimulating appetite arrives from thickly sliced bacon sandwiched in soft white bread, I have trouble because it looks delicious when I do it.

Rather than that, depending on how you use it, it's not about the purpose, but about how to make the application of your abilities advantageous.

The quest for the Morjura crusade proved to produce quite a bit of firepower by simply releasing black flames through the flaming mountain knife (Machet), "Larspun's Right Arm," reinforced by "Ifried's Thumb".

No, sometimes the specs of "Larspun's Right Arm" were usually higher than I imagined, Stratos Blacksmith did a really good job, I'm going to keep it.

Aside from that, if you get used to handling your powers a little more from now on, you should be able to increase the range of uses such as just getting high heat on your body, and oh, if you can master other trait changes, it might be interesting to combine them.

Although, at this stage, it is only for the calculation of raccoons that are not caught.

But apart from that, the ‘more’ you get when you accomplish all the trials is probably the

"Is he the one who invokes the divine name and activates protection?

Pic, and his little hand and mouth stopped.

"How do you know that already?

"Why, they used God's name and shelter."

I have clearly witnessed that Lily was "Iris the Fairy Queen," Vulcan was "Wolfgand the Lonely Wolf," and Sue was "Hanzoma the Shadow Way," each mouthed to exert a protective effect.

Look at that. You can't possibly not tell.

"Well, you knew."

With a slightly unfortunate look, Mia restarts her meal.

What, you wanted to keep it a secret... no, but it's weirder not to notice.

"Uh, but, you know, I'm looking forward to the spell."

Though I wondered what God was in the mood for, I was overwhelmed with Mia chewing her sandwich with a sinking look, and I was talking about this dialogue.

"What, really? Hmm, but no, because it's still a secret!

But it seemed to work great, now Mia turns around and smiles with Nico.

Somehow, you just seem like a really worthy child, rather than a god.

Well, it's good because she's cute.

"By the way, Mia"

However, there is one caveat to teach this child that there are rules in the world of men, just as God has rules.

"What?

I cautioned Mia, who consumed the first giant bacon sandwich and was reaching for the next egg sandwich, feeling like I had become a librarian.

It's forbidden to eat or drink in the library.
