Kuro no Maou
Episode 234: Celebration and Admission
On the 20th of the month of Red Flame, at a time when it will still take a little for the bell to ring to announce noon, we three Element Masters walk through the magnificent main school building of the Royal Sparda Seminary.
"When you say enrollment, you've got a light adventurer course."
"Right."
"Hey."
The other day, when we were promoted to Adventurer Rank 3, we finally made it to seminary, as we had always thought.
Even so, it's a welcome adventurer course for anyone as long as they pay, they don't impose any exams, so there's no more gratitude than passing high school.
Therefore, as a student today, this will be my first time attending school, but when it comes to doing it, only the basic admission process and a brief school description.
After this, I can quit right now, whether I take classes or not.
If you don't have a teacher, you don't introduce yourself in a new class. It's just a system where you can go to classes that you think you need.
Well, naturally speaking of the characteristics of the Adventurer's Course, it's a natural degree of freedom, but even if I knew that, I still had expectations for a new school to attend, like a few claps.
Somehow, it also seems vain that I have prepared a black blazer, which is a solid seminary uniform.
Even now, students enrolled in adventurer courses are not necessarily obliged to wear uniforms, and they don't have half of them in discipline.
"Something seems to have come in through the shapes. It's a shame."
"Isn't that nice, uniform, I like it, Mr. Chrono looks great too"
"Chrono, that's cool!
No, the uniform outfit level would be overwhelmingly higher for both of us than for me or something.
Fiona is naturally perfectly similar because she deserves to be old, and Lily already feels like a totally shiny freshman.
By contrast, the school I originally attended was a school run, so I just feel as fresh as I did now that I turned into a blazer, and the appearance itself is a regular high school student everywhere...... I don't see it anymore now.
I feel like I've grown taller than I did back then, and more importantly, I have muscles and my physique is getting bigger once and for all, I'd rather call myself an adventurer than a high school student anymore.
Well, still, when people tell me Fiona and Lily look good in flattery, I'm secretly delighted.
"By the way, what are you two going to do now? I hear Simon and Will are celebrating their enrollment, so I'm gonna go see him, but why don't you come with me?
"I'm going to take a peek at the library first, I have something to look for, so I'll disturb you later"
Checking books is diligent, shouldn't boulders be called witches?
"What about Lily?
"Um, Lily has business too -!
How dare you run errands on Lily? I wonder what the hell you have to do in this toddler state.
"Ugh, it's still a secret!
"Oh, really?"
If they say it's a secret, we can't pursue it any further.
In the meantime, Lily and Fiona will rendezvous later, so I'll go to the lab instead of the storage where Simon and Will will wait one foot ahead of us.
Yeah, speaking of which, Will, I'm telling you two that I've known Wilhardt, the second prince of Sparda, but will this actually be the first day I see him?
I hope Lily isn't wary of that momentum...... would it be too attentive?
I'll see you later.
And we broke up once on the front porch of this school building to get to our respective destinations.
"This is..."
I'm visiting Simon's borough shop right now, and in one of those rooms, I'm being welcomed to school as promised.
I'm not glad you went out of your way to celebrate, but it's a surprise I don't actually anticipate at all
Stunning awaited.
Because it's arranged right in front of me.
"- Isn't that an onigiri!?
Simple yet sophisticated dishes with plump white rice and rolled black seaweed just look like onigiri from anywhere.
You just gripped the cooking stand, or you can faintly see the hot air from the black and white two-tone triangle.
The fragrance of seaweed is irresistible to stimulate the stomach and appetite.
"Oh, I'm really surprised by your brother."
"Phew, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
I'd be satisfied if I did it to my reactions, Will.
"What is this, Will prepared it for me?
Originally I heard you were waiting for lunch, but I didn't expect Onigiri to come out.
I still wonder why the Onigiri, also known as Japanese soul food, exists as a matter of course in this otherworldly land.
"Hmm, let me check first, Chrono, you are a Gentile, that is, a being from another world different from this one, right?
"Oh... wait, did I tell you I'm from another world?
I'm too sure of Will's story to affirm, but in retrospect, I told him about my battle with the Crusaders in the village of Alsace, but I'm sure he didn't say anything about people coming from different worlds.
So far, only Lily, Fiona and Simon have cummed out that I am a person of another world, here called a ‘Gentile', etc.
Turning the gaze of chillari and suspicion to Simon, he waved his hand and neck to deny whether he had guessed the intention.
"Don't be so vigilant, I'm not going to do this because I'm Gentile. In the first place, having black hair and black eyes is the hallmark of the famous Gentiles, which at first glance is somewhat predictable."
Speaking of which, I've hardly ever seen black hair or black eyes.
There were only a few people who could have had one, but I've never seen anything other than that experiment.
Well, if it's probable that the Japanese characteristic of dark hair and dark eyes is also an equals and Gentile characteristic, does that mean that the color alone makes predictions?
Well, one of them has red eyes.
"And by reacting to Onigiri, the dish this Gentile supposedly conveyed, it was fully confirmed"
Apparently, I've been set up, and there's no way the Japanese would be happy to meet Onigiri in a strange place called the Other World.
No, I'm more concerned than that.
"Does that mean the Gentiles told you that Sparda has the same guy as me!?
Even so, technically, it doesn't mean they summoned me as an experimental subject.
Other than that, it is a surprising point that there are Japanese summoned to this other world by some factor.
"No, I'm not in Sparda"
"So where?
"Well, calm down, let's just talk about it while we eat, because onigiri tastes better when it's cold, but warmer"
Ha ha ha, and me and Simon went on to sit down gracefully with the usual high laughter.
No, but the onigiri looks so delicious... Shit, I think I'm gonna cry with some joy and nostalgia...
"- Well, have you ever heard of Chrono as Count Red Wing?
That's what Will told the story as he drummed his tongue at the different worlds version of Onigiri, which is equipped with fish similar to salmon.
I got tea from Will's maid who named me Celia - oh, this tea tastes totally green, so tea leaves also exist?
What a thought. And yet,
No, I've never heard of him.
I replied in the meantime.
"Hmm, well, if you live in one country of Daedalus, it's only natural that you don't know any celebrities, nobles of a one-city state, etc., but this place still has an all-knowing gray brainchild -"
"There's a man in the country named Rune, the Earl of the Red Wing, and he's a Gentile from another world named 'Nihon’ who's the same as your brother, and he said the Earl made this onigiri too."
"Whoa, whoa! Simon, you're a fool not to know how to have a conversation with the most important information!
"'Cause Will's too long to write, I'm not going to talk about it."
Alchemist staring at the complaining prince with a jitty eye, what are these two, you're getting along so well while I'm gone.
No, it is a shocking fact that the person to be Earl of the Red Wing is more Japanese than those two advances.
Perhaps Red Wing is a pseudonym, or a locally obtained name, if it was a pseudonym, um, Mr. Red Wings, or something? No, it's too cheap, isn't it?
Anyway, I can assure you that it is impossible for the Count to be lying if he shows a perfect degree of completeness from my point of view.
But if the Count and I were Gentiles, it would have been a naked start, but it was a tremendous start, a big difference from me, an adventurer with no known address.
"Hey, where do I go to see that Count?
"No, it's impossible to see him."
Why? Because a man of aristocracy named Count can't possibly come true, like me and you, who are only adventurers? I'm fine with royalty for that...
"Count Red Wing died fifty years ago."
"What?"
Will's assertion leaked an unexpected dumb voice.
Dead? And fifty years ago? That's silly - no, but wait, speaking of which,
"There were more people like you in my life than there are now, Ning Lo."
When I first met Mia, she said that.
Yes, isn't the phenomenon of humans being summoned from Earth to this other world limited to this era of my life?
"Well, too bad..."
I thought I'd meet a ‘mattomo' fellow in the corner, but you're not going to be so good.
"Well, not so depressing, Chrono, that there are many objects of different world origins left behind by the Count in the Rune"
"Yes, there are other foods like Susie and Tempura!
unexpected, and at the same time will be happy to follow the two quick
"Sussy and Tempura are, pu, haha!
A laugh leaks unexpectedly to Simon, who uttered a word like a stereotype foreign tourist.
"What, did I say something wrong?
"Well, both Susie and Tempura say that Rune is proud of his famous cross-world cuisine."
"Damn, no, it's not pronounced right, sushi and tempura,"
Ooh - the boulder is a real Gentile, and Simon and Will's reaction, which shows a keen interest, is kind of hilarious and invites even more laughter.
It's unfortunate that I can't meet someone who's definitely Japanese, the Red Wing, but I got some interesting information.
Rune, or I'll be sure to go sometime.
