Brave man, facing difficulties

I'm the one who decided to save this world as the brave Lisa, but I noticed one problem.

I'm supposed to be just a high school student and I'm not as good at martial arts.

I've done it if you're a sports chamberlain in recreation for a local children's party in elementary school, but maybe then you can't beat the Demon King.

But you perceived my anxiety like that. The king taught me good things.

Anything, they say, the brave are able to freely give out and handle a very strong weapon: the Holy Sword/Phantom Sword at the time of summons. The brave men of his predecessors who were summoned several hundred years ago also won the Demon King with that weapon or something.

When I focused my consciousness on my right hand to try it, my hand glowed blurry, and at some point when the light subsided after a few seconds, a sword with a beautiful, skinny workmanship was held in my hand.

If you shake it gently, it will familiarize you with your hands as if you were a part of your body from birth.

Furthermore, the king says that this sword can be changed in shape and size as the owner thinks as indicated by the name of the phantom sword.

When I made the image of the sword deforming in my head to try it, the sword I actually had in my hand also changed shape with Gnyagnya. I've changed shapes from swords to spears, axes, hammers, bows, scythes, Japanese swords, great swords, and other weapons as I can think of them. I'm sure you shouldn't think about what the phenomenon is doing scientifically.

Moreover, conveniently, it seems that information about nature and its optimal use enters the head and body when it is deformed into those weapons. At last, whatever form it takes, even if it's the first weapon you use, if you touch the Holy Sword, you can move more than the equivalent of decades of masters on that path.

Besides reshaping it, it also seems that while you are putting out the Holy Sword, you can demonstrate superhuman physical abilities, or something magical like putting flames and water and electricity out of the Holy Sword just to remember.

After checking the convenient features of the Holy Sword all the way, the King guided me to the castle training ground, where I tried to play a practice game with the Knights chief that he was an arm in contention for twelve in this country, but I realized more about the awesomeness or cheating of the Holy Sword by being able to win especially dangerous no matter how many times I did it.

It makes me feel kind of sorry for someone who has worked so hard for years to beat the power of the weapon alone so easily.

Nevertheless, I cannot be optimistic, given how strong the Demon King would be if such an outrageous weapon were not used.

When I finished practicing how to use the Holy Sword, I received an explanation from the King to act as a brave man.

They say that all human, material and financial advantages to act nationally and internationally are maximized and, on top of that, they are granted powers commensurate with royalty.

Nevertheless, given that the source of the funding for the activities is the blood tax for all of the people, I can be tempted to spend the money like hot water for extravaganza or something. I will try to save as much money as possible on surprises when I really need them.

By the end of those explanations, the sun had already begun to fall.

I hadn't noticed it because it's been moving hastily since I was summoned, but I'm mostly hungry, too. Come to think of it, I ate lunch at school before being summoned. I haven't said anything.

The king, who had taught me all sorts of things ever since he was summoned, seemed to be the same hungry, and was led to the dining room because he was letting the royal dining room prepare meals.

But this king, no matter how brave he is, is courteous and gentleman to a little girl like me, and he cares about some details, and he's a good man.

Often led to the dining room to sit down and wait.

Aside from me and the king, there are queens who are the king's wives, princes (eight years old) and princesses (six years old) who are the king's children, and deacons and samurai who would be the cooking servants.

The royalty didn't look great either, and he spoke to the great man in a casual atmosphere before him to care for me in a tense mood.

My nervousness also became more relaxed when I was talking about Japan and, conversely, listening to this country and making a mockery. It was good because you wouldn't have properly understood the flavour of the dish in the corner while you were nervous.

Anyway, of the castle, that's the kind of dish that is served to royalty.

I'm pretty interested as a cook's daughter.

It is adorable that the court cook, who is the best cook in the country, has become very small and hungry about what the dish is made with the finest ingredients.

Eventually the food was carried.

Unlike so-called course dishes, a variety of dishes were arranged to fill large tables rather than being carried one plate at a time. Apparently, when you tell the samurai who is holding off on the dish you want to eat beside her, she'll take that dish apart.

Speaking of meals for royalty, I wondered if you didn't have to poison them, but they say the dishes used for anything are magical objects and have the magic to identify poisons. You think even great people can eat hot before their food gets cold because they don't have to look poisonous because of it? The boulder is a fantasy world, you have something convenient.

For now, I had a samurai take some of the items I noticed from the dishes on the table.

As a biological commoner, I feel unsettled by the act of ordering a samurai, but in places like this, it seems inexorable to take your own cooking, so when I went into town, I asked you to do it by telling me to obey the town.

And finally, the dish that was split right in front of me was carried. Make your chest jump to expectations and mouth that dish. And the thoughts were:

• Salad

When you take a bite, the harmony is played in your mouth with the blue flavor of the vegetables and the tough bitterness. The texture is also slightly suffocating. If you chew it several times, the vegetable fiber will be caught in the gap between the teeth.

- Meat dishes

It spreads full of beastly gravy when first transported to your mouth. Where the fat is low, it is pasty, and where the fat is high, it does not bore the tongue with the texture of the git. And whatever you say, you have good teeth, and you have to use all your strength to chew them off. You will definitely have a stronger chin if you eat this dish on a daily basis.

- Fish dishes

It was a fish I've never seen in Japan, but it's a river fish. That's muddy and gives me a strong sense of the ambition that modern Japanese tend to forget.

- Soup

From then on, which would have been simmered with plenty of meat and vegetables used in the above dishes, it naturally tasted as intense as if it had concentrated the flavors of those ingredients.

- Bread

I could taste the original flavor of wheat more than I needed (...). It's harder.

- Fruit

It was less sweet and more sour.

......... I think I've figured it out already, but none of this tastes good.

I know repeatedly that it is very rude to think of something like this with a treat from someone else, but clearly it is not tasty.

But the kings we're dining with seem to eat the same dishes deliciously. It doesn't seem like it's just my dish that tastes strange.

So I realized.

Ingredients like those eaten in modern Japan, be it meat or vegetables. They are things that have been varietally improved over decades, in some cases hundreds of years.

Even with cooking techniques, our ancestors have repeatedly refined trials and errors in their long history.

The taste itself will be quite different from the kings who are used to eating the dishes here and me who are used to modern Japanese meals.

You should have noticed when you thought this castle was like a medieval castle coming in a textbook.

If the cultural level is medieval, it is logical that food culture should also be commensurate with it.

I don't know how long it will take to defeat the Demon King as a brave man, but if you can't have a good meal all that time, it's a big problem. Because meals are not just nutritional supplements, they are also essential to maintain mental health.

In the day I came to the other world, I hit a huge difficulty early on.

For now, the first step in your activity as a brave man is your decision to ensure a delicious meal.
