Chapter 476 - 335: Drunk Talk
"Wenwen!!"
Hearing Eldest Young Master Xu’s affectionate nickname for Su Ziweng, the group couldn’t hold it in and burst out laughing.
Su Ziweng shot Eldest Young Master Xu an annoyed glare.
Then, he placed a cardboard box on the table and took out bottles of red wine, passing one to each person.
"Sorry, the cabin isn’t equipped with a decanter." As a former Michelin chef, Jenny naturally knew all about wine tasting.
A fine, aged wine like this needed to breathe for at least one to two hours, sometimes even longer, to fully awaken its complex aromas and rich layers of flavor.
"No need!" Su Ziweng waved his hand dismissively with a bold air. "We’re all friends here, no need for all that fuss. We can just drink straight from the bottle. We have a corkscrew, right?"
Jenny shook her head helplessly, not knowing whether to laugh or cry at Su Ziweng’s overly casual approach to drinking.
"Give it to Nash. Let him open it." Feng Mountain took a bottle of red wine and handed it to Nash.
After taking the wine, Nash didn’t hesitate for a second. He reached into his coat and pulled out a Hunting Knife.
He firmly plunged the tip of the knife into the cork, gave it a few gentle twists, and then slowly pulled the cork out.
The entire sequence was smooth and seamless, perfectly showcasing the rugged spirit of a Wilderness Hunter.
BADASS!!
Everyone gasped in unison. It was the first time any of them had seen a bottle of red wine opened like that.
Just moments before, when Nash had pulled out his Hunting Knife, they all thought he was going to just smash the neck of the bottle off.
Su Ziweng’s eyes lit up like lightbulbs. An image instantly flashed in his mind: him using this trick to look cool and impress girls. He was suddenly filled with excitement and eagerly scurried over to Nash, his face a mask of flattery.
"Brother Na, teach me how to open a bottle with a Hunting Knife."
Nash shot Su Ziweng a disdainful glance, then silently shook his head and spat out a cold reply.
"You’re too hopeless. You’ll never learn."
"!!!" Su Ziweng’s eyes went wide in disbelief.
Seeing this, the group once again erupted in roaring laughter that echoed through the dining room.
Feng Mountain chuckled and shook his head, kindly explaining, "Wenwen, you really wouldn’t be able to learn it. Nash can open a bottle like that because he’s a master with a knife. If you wanted to learn, you’d need to practice with a knife for at least three years before you even had a chance."
"Just because I can’t learn it doesn’t mean you can insult me! How am I useless? When it comes to stamina, I can go five minutes longer than him with Honghong... Mmph!"
Su Ziweng was muttering his complaint when, before he could finish, an embarrassed Eldest Young Master Xu quickly clapped a hand over his mouth and dragged him aside like a helpless chick.
Everyone at the table was an adult, so they naturally understood what Su Ziweng meant by "stamina."
The women’s cheeks instantly flushed red, as if some secret had been exposed. They cursed silently, ’This guy never says anything proper.’
The men, on the other hand, wore playful smirks. They exchanged knowing glances, their eyes seeming to tease Su Ziweng for his lack of a filter.
"Cheers!!"
Someone shouted, and everyone quickly rose to their feet.
They raised their red wine bottles high, clinking them together with a crisp sound to celebrate this joyous get-together.
Xiaohua could only hold her juice resentfully, watching with envious eyes as the others took big gulps of red wine.
In the lively dining room, cheerful chatter and laughter rose and fell.
Everyone showered praise on Jenny’s cooking, especially Feng Mountain, who was genuinely surprised.
He hadn’t expected Old Zhang to have taught her with such dedication, passing on the essence of Chinese cuisine without holding anything back.
’Based on the level of skill Jenny showed today, she’s probably no worse than me, maybe even a cut above.’
Every dish, whether in appearance, aroma, or flavor, was perfectly executed, making it impossible to stop eating.
Before they knew it, the meal was well underway, and several rounds of drinks had been poured.
One by one, the red wine bottles were emptied. Unexpectedly, when the women started drinking, their wildness was in no way inferior to the men’s.
At first, the men were just drinking and chatting leisurely, as the red wine wasn’t particularly strong.
For Feng Mountain, drinking this wine was as easy as drinking water.
However, Erica—perhaps because she was still holding in a lot of frustration from being abandoned in the wilderness by Tyson—was spoiling for a fight.
She picked up her wine bottle, a provocative glint in her eye, and started looking around for a drinking opponent.
She knew her tolerance wasn’t a match for the men, so she simply shifted her target to the women.
All the women, except for Xiaohua, unfortunately became her targets.
It was a rare occasion for everyone to have such a lively meal together, and on top of that, Xiaohua and her two companions had just arrived in the Crown Territory.
To let everyone fully enjoy the festive atmosphere,
Feng Mountain didn’t interfere. Instead, he sat aside with great interest, watching the women’s tabletop battle with relish.
Erica held up her bottle, and though her steps were a bit unsteady, her expression showed a defiant spirit. She first sidled up to Jenny, her face flushed with drunken affection, and slurred.
"Sister Jenny, you’re the best sister ever. I’ll have a drink with you."
With that, without waiting for Jenny’s response, Erica tilted her head back and chugged a large mouthful of wine.
Next, she staggered toward Demi, spreading her arms wide and shouting with a thick tongue,
"Demi, my dear, come on!"
Demi smiled helplessly, raised her own bottle to clink with Erica’s, and took a sip.
Then, Erica set her sights on Tammy. She threw an arm around her and said with a grin, "Tammy, our little cutie, your big sister wants to have a drink with you."
In such a lively atmosphere, Tammy found it hard to refuse and had to take a sip with her.
Finally, Erica spotted Maria trying to sneak away. She immediately hurried after her, shouting loudly,
"Maria, don’t you run! Drink your wine!"
