Chapter 679 - 436: A Visit
In the back seat of the car.
Jenny and the other three women had been terrified for the past few days, their nerves stretched taut.
Not long after getting in the car, they began to drift off to sleep.
But even in their sleep, they subconsciously refused to let go of Feng Mountain.
As a result, Tammy was lying against Feng Mountain’s chest, while Jenny and Erica clung tightly to his arms from either side.
A hint of terror lingered on Jenny’s face, her brow slightly furrowed. It seemed that even in her dreams, she couldn’t escape the horrible memories.
Erica, on the other hand, looked peaceful. She gripped Feng Mountain’s arm tightly, as if holding onto him meant holding onto her staunchest pillar of support.
Tammy was sound asleep in Feng Mountain’s arms, her little cheeks flushed. From time to time, she would smack her lips softly, as if having a sweet dream.
A peculiar atmosphere filled the vehicle—a heart-wrenching warmth mixed with tension.
However, as Bat slammed on the brakes, the vehicle lurched to a sudden stop.
Feng Mountain instinctively tightened his arms, holding Tammy securely while bracing his body against the forward momentum, afraid she might get bumped.
Although he tried to be as gentle as possible, the slight movement still disturbed the lightly sleeping Jenny.
"Feng, what’s wrong?" Jenny slowly opened her eyes, her sleepy gaze filled with confusion as she asked softly.
"It’s nothing. I’m getting out for a smoke. Hold Tammy for a bit," Feng Mountain said, deliberately lowering his voice, trying to sound relaxed so as not to worry Jenny.
After speaking, he carefully handed Tammy to Jenny, then gently pushed the door open and got out.
Immediately after, the car following them also stopped.
Everyone got out and quickly walked over to Feng Mountain’s side.
"What’s up?" Feng Mountain asked curiously, looking at Bat’s serious expression.
Bat didn’t answer right away.
Instead, he crouched down and quickly brushed away the snow on the ground with his hand.
In a moment, a number of tire tracks of varying depths were clearly exposed.
"These aren’t all from our vehicle," Bat said, pointing to one of the tracks. "We use custom tires with a unique tread. This track here," he explained, "is definitely from our car. But the other tracks were left by narrow tires and motorcycle tires."
"Also, judging by the depth of the snow covering them, these tracks must have been made not long ago. That means unknown vehicles and motorcycles entered the ranch recently."
Bat’s brow was furrowed, a vigilant look in his eyes.
Listening to the detailed analysis, the relaxed expression on Feng Mountain’s face gradually faded, replaced by a cold, stern look.
Never mind whose car the narrow tires belonged to. The dense cluster of motorcycle tracks alone was enough to indicate one thing: a large number of motorcycles had entered Melon Ranch.
In West Yellowstone City, there was only one group with that many motorcycles: the Biker Gang from Blue Cloud House.
Feng Mountain narrowed his eyes, a chill glinting within them. "Can you tell how many there were?"
"By the looks of it, probably over fifteen motorcycles and one car."
Bat gave his assessment after carefully observing the chaotic, overlapping web of tire tracks on the ground and thinking for a moment.
A surge of anger rose in Feng Mountain’s heart when he heard that number.
’That Biker Gang has some serious nerve, showing up right at my doorstep. Do they really think I won’t deal with them?’
Feng Mountain’s expression grew colder. He slowly turned his head, his gaze sweeping over Gordon and the veterans as he secretly mulled over a counter-strategy.
He had left two vehicles and some of the veterans at the ski resort to transport the five kidnappers.
The two cars that came back were overloaded.

Even Little Tom and Diego had to squeeze into the trunk.
’Including myself, we have seven or eight people who can handle a gun. More than enough to deal with a bunch of lowlife bikers.’
"Everyone get ready. We might have to open fire," Feng Mountain said, his face cold.
Upon hearing this, a glint of excitement flashed in the veterans’ eyes, like wolves that had caught the scent of blood.
Without a word, they excitedly returned to the cars to retrieve their weapons and gear.
Some expertly checked their firearms, ensuring they were fully loaded and in good condition; others quickly organized their tactical vests, placing spare magazines, daggers, and other equipment in their proper places.
"Feng, is something wrong at the ranch?" Just then, a worried Jenny got out of the car, her brows knitted tightly together as she asked nervously.
Seeing her, Feng Mountain quickly forced a reassuring smile, trying to put her at ease. "It’s a small problem. They’re probably here for me. Get back in the car for now."
With that, he waved for everyone to get back in the vehicles.
The two cars parked before the entrance to Melon Ranch started up again, their engines letting out a low rumble.
They sped along the familiar road.
Soon, the cars stopped not far from the ranch’s log cabin.
From their vantage point, they could clearly see more than a dozen motorcycles and a police car parked at the bottom of the slope.
The motorcycles were parked haphazardly.
And the police car, which should have symbolized order and safety, was now mixed in with the Biker Gang’s vehicles, looking completely out of place.
"Diego, you stay in the car and protect Jenny and the others."
Feng Mountain gathered everyone around him.
His gaze fell on the young Mexican guy, who was useless in a fight.
"Feng, that’s my patrol car! My uncle must be here! Let me go with you. This is just a misunderstanding."
Little Tom stood on his tiptoes.
He had gotten a clear look at the familiar police car parked at the bottom of the slope.
Surprise flashed across his face before he spoke anxiously.
"Fine, you can come with us. But if a firefight breaks out, I can’t guarantee your safety. You’ll have to watch out for yourself."
