At that moment, these seemingly unrelated events began to connect in Feng Shan’s mind.

He had a nagging feeling that the long-standing mystery of the Crown Territory was finally about to be revealed.

As the first Russian man stepped off the plane, four burly men followed him out of the cabin.

The Russians’ eyes were wary, as if they saw potential threats in everything around them.

Nash, who was in the middle of moving fireworks, seemed to sense the danger. He immediately set down the cardboard box in his hands and hurried to Feng Shan’s side, his eyes locked on the people who had just gotten off the plane.

The five large men came down the airstairs, each carrying various bags.

They placed their bags on the ground, then, with their hands clasped over their abdomens, they formed a tight semi-circle around the airstairs in perfect unison, creating a secure perimeter.

Just then, Paine quickly approached with his men.

His gaze swept over the five large men. After observing them for a moment, he leaned into Feng Shan’s ear and whispered.

"Boss, they look like mobsters. I can tell."

Feng Shan nodded silently, his gaze fixed on the still-open cabin door.

’The bodyguards are all out. The main attraction should be making an appearance soon.’

And just then, a flash of white appeared in the doorway of the cabin, instantly drawing everyone’s gaze.

She was a radiant, beautiful blonde woman. Dressed in a long, white mink coat, she exuded an air of grace and nobility as she appeared elegantly in the doorway.

The woman appeared to be around thirty years old, her exquisite features so beautiful it was hard to look away.

Her dazzling blonde hair seemed to be spun from starlight-kissed gold thread—silky, shimmering, and cascading like a waterfall down to her waist.

With every slight toss of her head, the golden strands rippled like liquid gold, exuding a captivating charm.

Even the polar night itself seemed to pale in her presence.

The blonde woman descended from the plane with graceful strides and walked directly to Frank.

The two gently pressed their cheeks together in an intimate greeting.

Then, her gaze shifted. Her clear, sapphire-blue eyes glanced briefly at Feng Shan before she gave a slight nod and spoke in a soft, melodious voice.

"Uncle Frank, it’s been too long. Why haven’t you visited us in Lengwan? Aunt Nanatasha has been waiting for you."

At her words, Frank’s expression faltered. A look of resignation crossed his face as he shook his head, his voice tinged with regret.

"Natasha, you know that Feng doesn’t like me going to Lengwan."

Hmph!

The blonde woman let out a soft huff. With the corners of her lips turned up, her expression was a mixture of anger and pouting. The noble, elegant aura she projected was now tinged with a hint of girlish innocence.

Frowning slightly, her voice held a note of complaint and resignation.

"Feng is still so old-fashioned. He’d rather stay in the Crown Territory his entire life than go out and see how the world has changed."

Standing to the side, Feng Shan was dying of embarrassment. He was so mortified his toes felt like they were trying to claw a hole in the runway.

Listening to their conversation, he thought to himself, ’Barring any surprises, the ’Feng’ they’re talking about must be my grand-uncle.’

And while the two exchanged pleasantries, Feng Shan took the opportunity to secretly observe the woman up close.

Beyond her stunning looks, she was also remarkably tall.

Feng Shan was well aware of his own height—five-foot-ten, practically five-eleven. But this woman before him was somehow even taller.

A woman that tall was a rare sight in Alaska.

"And this is?" The blonde woman’s gaze fell on Feng Shan again. Her expression was clearly a pretense of having just noticed him, and her eyes held a hint of cunning.

"This is Xiaofeng, Feng’s grandson." Frank, naturally understanding her intentions, went along with her and made the introduction.

He then turned to Feng Shan to introduce the blonde woman. "Xiaofeng, this is Lady Natalia Nikolaevna Romanova. And... she’s also... your... fiancée."

Frank’s tone was slightly hesitant, as if he were watching for Feng Shan’s reaction.

Had Feng Shan possessed a deeper knowledge of world history, he would have undoubtedly recognized the significance of the name Romannova.

Alas, such was not the case.

At that moment, Feng Shan’s mind was completely consumed by Frank’s last words.

This woman was his fiancée, and he’d never even heard of her.

’Who is she?’

’What does she do?’

’Why is she here looking for me now?’

This string of questions swirled through his mind like a tangled mess, leaving him completely bewildered.

But when he saw the woman extend a pale hand toward him, he could only suppress the chaotic thoughts in his mind, reluctantly extend his own hand, and force a smile.

"Hello, Lady Natasha."

However, just as Feng Shan politely reached out to shake the blonde woman’s hand, the unexpected happened.

As if she hadn’t even noticed his gesture, the blonde woman deftly avoided his touch, her slender, pale hand moving with a subtle, clever motion.

At the same time, her perfectly sculpted eyebrows furrowed slightly, and a look of displeasure crossed her face, as if she were unhappy with his gesture.

The sudden turn of events left Feng Shan’s hand hanging awkwardly in mid-air, the smile on his face instantly frozen.

’What’s that supposed to mean?’

’Is she looking down on me? Thinks I’m not worthy of shaking her hand?’

A wave of irritation washed over him, and Feng Shan’s expression darkened.

Frank, standing to the side, had seen the whole awkward exchange. He quickly leaned close to Feng Shan and whispered urgently.

"Buddy, you’re supposed to kiss her hand."

’Kiss her hand?’

Hearing this, a bewildered look appeared on Feng Shan’s face.

His gaze slowly returned to the blonde woman. This time, he wasn’t as hasty; he studied her carefully.

The blonde woman before him stood tall and poised, her aura one of pure elegance. Her azure eyes were like clear lakes, deep and mesmerizing, and they shone with an innate pride.

When Feng Shan’s gaze met hers again, he could clearly see that pride, a pride that seemed etched into her very bones.

Strangely, however, her pride wasn’t overbearing or oppressive. Instead, it was a unique quality, as if she were simply born to be this self-assured.

Feng Shan was taken aback for a moment. The irritation in his heart subsided slightly. He composed himself, gave a small nod, and tried to appear more calm and collected.

Then, bending slightly at the waist like an elegant gentleman, he gently took the blonde woman’s hand.

Her hand was soft and cool, carrying the faint scent of lavender.

Feng Shan held his breath and gently pressed a polite kiss to the back of her hand. His movements were a little clumsy, but he had managed to perform the special courtesy.

After completing the gesture, Feng Shan straightened up, an apologetic smile gracing his lips.

"My apologies. That was rude of me."

The blonde woman seemed to have been secretly observing Feng Shan’s reaction all along.

Now, seeing his performance, she nodded lightly. The corners of her mouth curved upward into a faint smile, as warm as the spring sun.

"You may call me Natasha."

"Alright, Natasha." Feng Shan nodded, maintaining a perfectly calibrated smile, doing his best not to seem impolite.

But inwardly, he was grumbling.

’Does she think she’s a princess or something?’

Despite his dissatisfaction, Feng Shan still did his best to maintain a graceful facade.

Natasha’s red lips parted. She turned her head to Frank and said, "Uncle Frank, this is my second time in the Crown Territory. Would you be so kind as to show me around the old haunts?"

"Of course." Frank gave a slight, gentlemanly bow. He gestured to the snowmobiles parked on the edge of the runway. "It’s still a ways to the camp from here. We can take these over."

"Excellent." Natasha nodded and, flanked by her bodyguards, walked elegantly toward the snowmobiles.

As for Feng Shan, he was completely ignored.

It was as if he were just an irrelevant bystander.
