"What kind of plane is this?"

Feng Shan stared intently at the crimson plane as it taxied, a hint of curiosity in his eyes. He then turned and asked Paine, who was standing beside him.

Paine narrowed his eyes slightly, studying the aircraft carefully before speaking.

"It should be a Beechcraft King Air 350, but I’m not sure of the exact model. It looks like a custom build, though. The starting price for one of these is over seven million US dollars. With modifications, the price would be even higher. I’d say this one is probably worth over ten million US dollars."

PHEW!

Hearing the price, Feng Shan let out a soft whistle, a look of surprise on his face.

It looked like a real high roller was arriving at Crown Territory today.

Anyone who could own such an expensive plane was bound to be someone extraordinary.

After the P-750 aircraft came to a steady stop, the cabin door slowly opened.

Frank emerged, looking slightly exhausted. He wore a crisp suit and carried a briefcase in his hand.

From the looks of it, he had just finished work and rushed to catch the plane without even having time to change.

Feng Shan hurried forward, wrapping Frank in a tight hug with open arms.

"There you are, you old mother hen! Good to finally see you. Lady Peyton even told me to tell you she misses you!"

"Fuck, as if that woman would miss me. The only thing on her mind is that one-of-a-kind gavel at the Federal Supreme Court," Frank muttered, a look of resignation on his face.

Then, he clapped Feng Shan on the shoulder, his expression pleased. His tone softened. "You’ve been doing good work lately, you brat. I’ve got a surprise for you later."

"Boss." Yves and Ma Wei got off the plane and walked up to Feng Shan. Yves spoke first. "The fireworks your friend sent and the projector you bought are in the cabin. Should we move them back to camp?"

"Are there a lot?"

Feng Shan had no idea, since he didn’t know how many fireworks Brother Kai had actually sent.

He asked as he strode over to the cabin door, poking his head inside curiously.

The sight made him freeze. The entire cabin, except for a few seats near the door, was crammed full of boxes of all sizes.

’This many?’

Feng Shan couldn’t help but mutter under his breath, his face a mask of astonishment.

"Buddy, do you have any idea how I felt when I discovered the plane was loaded entirely with fireworks?"

Frank had come to stand beside Feng Shan. He frowned at the mountain of cardboard boxes in the cabin and said, the memory still making him shudder,

"I was praying to God the entire way here that nothing would happen. Thankfully, the big man upstairs was on our side today and blessed us with a safe trip. Don’t ever use a private jet to transport something so dangerous again."

"There won’t be a next time. We’ll just use a truck," Feng Shan said with a smile. He took a few steps back to clear the doorway, then called Paine over to have his men unload the boxes of fireworks and take them back to camp.

At that moment, the red Beechcraft King Air was sitting steadily on the runway.

The roar of its propellers gradually subsided, but still, no one emerged.

Just as Feng Shan was wondering what was going on, Frank’s next words left him completely stunned.

"Come on, let’s go meet your fiancée. Is that a surprise or what?" Frank said, grabbing Feng Shan’s arm and motioning with his eyes for him to follow.

’What?’

’Fiancée??’

In an instant, Feng Shan felt as if he’d been struck by lightning. His mind went completely blank, and he just stood there, frozen.

He had never imagined this was what Frank meant by a "surprise."

Stumbling as if he’d been hit by an Immobilization Spell, Feng Shan was dragged by Frank toward the red plane.

The plane’s cabin door opened smoothly, and a hidden airstair extended from the belly of the aircraft, lowering steadily to the ground.

As the door opened, a burly, bearded white man in a black winter coat stepped out.

Feng Shan frowned when he saw the man.

’This man doesn’t look like a Western European or American.’

Generally, Westerners have round, oval, or inverted-triangle-shaped faces. Their features are relatively less defined, their eyes are rounder, and the corners of their eyes are straight.

But this man, with his thick beard, had a rectangular face with a prominent jaw. His facial lines were hard and strong, and his features were sharply chiseled. The shape of his eyes was particularly distinct, with the corners tilting slightly upward—a clear difference from the common appearance of a Westerner.

Hmm.

Feng Shan nodded slightly, his gaze fixed on the man descending the stairs as he pondered internally.

’His face looks a bit like Alvin’s, but his features are more defined.’

As an image of Alvin surfaced in his mind, Feng Shan’s thoughts began to race.

’Alvin... has Russian blood.’

’This man is Russian.’

’A surprise, a Russian, and a fiancée out of nowhere.’

These keywords spun in Feng Shan’s mind, making his heart beat a little faster.

Suddenly, Feng Shan remembered the hidden stone cave he had discovered behind the bus camp.

He had found a stack of stationery and documents inside.

Part of it consisted of documents concerning the ownership of Crown Territory, as well as a supplementary agreement signed when his granduncle inherited it.

The rest of the letters were written entirely in Russian.

Since he had never studied the language, he couldn’t understand them at the time and had simply stored them away.

’Now that I think about it, those letters might hold an important secret.’

On top of that, there had also been a batch of old Russian guns in the cave.

He remembered chatting idly with Frank back then, wondering why his granduncle would have bothered to acquire so many firearms.
