Late. Tamer's day.

1 story Longer Prologue

"Yay!

I, Yuta Sasaki, was screaming out of the blue after checking the PC screen. What you're looking at is one email that arrived in your email folder.

Subject: Dear Law of Justice Online Winners,

Thank you for entering Law of Justice Online for your first shipment. You're a brilliant winner, good for you! It is written in a very hard sentence that feels like And then there's the caveats on how to transfer the cost of the software and how not to resell it.

Law of Justice Online. Commonly known as LJO.

This is the first fully domesticated online RPG in a VR console that was finally put into practice three years ago and has gained prominence not only from Japan but from around the world.

It was initially branded VRMMORPG. However, it has now been changed to VRWCORPG - World Connecting Online.

The apparent reason is that LJOs utilizing the new interface, VR consoles, vary from traditional MMOs and cannot be expressed by the designation MMO. Connect to a new world called LJO and play, say it's a new genre of game.

But in fact, the real reason seems to be that the name VRMMO was already registered in various countries and could not be used immediately. Well, if it's funny, it would be an MMO, but it would be a WCO, either way.

There were several games on the subject of different worlds and magic, but this is the first time an RPG with such a well-crafted worldview and vastness has appeared. When I saw the overly realistic Sukshaw, I was strangely impressed that I had finally come this far. "It's like a different world," a catch copy, wouldn't be an exaggeration. Although it is stale.

beta tests performed for 2 weeks. The story is famous amongst gamers that a vast map of about the same volume as the normal VR game world was broken, but still less than a hundredth.

They said it was only available in Japan, but there were over 20 million applications for 50,000 copies of the first shipment. Besides, the selling price and monthly royalties are usually set to be more than double the price of the title.

I'm talking about this price being an expensive alternative setting with less billing in the game, so the majority of users have no choice but to split it it. Incidentally, only marginal billing is apparent and the interior relationship of the home, making it impossible to obtain enhanced items and limited strength equipment due to billing. The so-called amount of charge is not directly linked to strength.

"Alright! Yay ~ Shh!

I didn't think it would hit me. It's over 400x magnification, and I said, "Well, let's apply for it." I booked it under no circumstances. I got a booking slip for the second shipment.

"You've made up your mind"

What? What? Abandoned Play.

Today is July 15. The game's official service begins on August 1. I still have the gospel of summer vacation. Our company has a subtly long summer vacation. 15th indeed. With pay, you can rest 25 days.

"Rotten boss did the same thing last year, and I'm not gonna let him complain."

The next day, I vigorously started acting. It may be since my exams that I move on to this one thing.

First, apply to the company for summer and paid leave. Yeah, your boss didn't look good. But you're the one who stuck around telling me to use the holidays! I'm taking the day off!

What remains is clothing and shelter.

Clothes. We're not going outside anyway! Therefore, I kept a large selection of underwear, shirts and shorts from the Hundred Yen Shop, which I did not need to throw away in the trash without washing. I will never wear the same clothes again, it is a celebrity kind of life.

Food is next. Buy large quantities of frozen foods, instant foods, cup noodles and chilled foods. The rest is rice free. Oh, let's get some supplements, too. The most important thing for abolitionist play is health. If you break your body, you won't be able to play. So supplements are important. What shall we do about the rest? I think I'll buy a lot of instant drinks as well. Coffee, tea and green tea are fine. I also bought a dishwasher. I don't want them to take the time to wash things.

Last place to live. The room is one of the apartments. With air conditioning, the summer heat is fine. Keep more money in your rent and utility debit account. If only the lights were stopped.

The bath starts to be prepared on its own if reserved, so it is possible to go in every day. It's a shiny coating type that doesn't have to be cleaned.

I can't help but clean the room... less. For once, we decided to install a cleaning robot and air purifier. Shall I throw away the garbage once a week? You can't help all this.

The bed has bought a new one. What an up-to-date bed for VR. Besides the reclining function, it is an obsolete specification that stimulates the muscles with vibrations and faint currents and prevents muscle weakness. The massage function even prevented the floor from slipping.

Oops, don't forget the line enhancement work either. When I asked him on the phone, he'd be here in three days. I'm glad I made it. I told a relative that I would be away for a while. You're going to another world, so you're not lying, are you? This also shuts out annoying human relationships. Perfect. Now I can hold onto it for a month.

"It's the completion of my abandoned castle!

I can't wait to get this service started!

If I said something like that, it was while I said there was. No - that was fast. Tomorrow is finally the start date of the service. I was so concerned about the game that I made a series of mistakes at the company, but I don't care. Anyway, starting tomorrow, I am a resident of virtual space. It's not until 25 days before you get angry. By then, your boss's anger will be relieved. Maybe.

I've been trying to gather information for the past week. Load the official website. I've got information on the beta test to inflate my image. Nothing. I'm not trying to be active at the offensive front, but I'm not going to spoil it at the bottom. I want to do enough to make a difference to the players for the second shipment by making a start dash.

That said, I'm also bored to know too much advance information. Because it doesn't have the freshness. It's hard to add or subtract that teaspoon.

So I gathered information about official information, the profession I was after, around a general worldview object, those three things. I am not very familiar with the professions I am not targeting on the contrary or with the offensive information in Beta. I don't know anything about it.

Of particular importance among the information gathered, time progresses four times faster in the game. In detail, save the electrical signals to the brain because it's a tricky technique, but anyway, the in-game time is four times that of reality. Even if we actually spend 4 days over there, we only go one day here.

And then there are limitations on consecutive login times and on the character's sleep, but that one, well, will work out. I don't have a real time limit.

And most importantly, PK behavior has become impossible in LJO. It's a thorough specification that can't even be used to steal pickpockets.

This would be because women and children are also aiming for an environment that is easy to play in. It's just a stance to have fun in the other world. That attitude is also conveyed by the fact that we are appealing for a quick response to GM calls on TV CM. Seems to agree or disagree, 'warm' and 'feisty' on the internet, but I'm an affirmative.

I don't understand PK or anything. As a basic solo player, I appreciate not having to be wary of annoying PK. I want to say I wish we could all play friendly.

They also reduce resource snatching as much as possible as part of light user uptake. It is also stated to adjust for items and monster pops, avoiding the monopoly of hunting grounds by the strong and a single station concentration of items. I think it's one of the reasons why we don't need to stir up players' shooting minds, though we charge less in-game.

In lieu of charging, there are rumors that the launch of extended additional packs such as races, items, etc. is being considered, which means that heavy user opponents will do business there.

"In the meantime, let's pre-register"

And start the service. I've been waiting for you!

"Five, four, three, two, one, start!

Log in fast to match the start.

User information is pre-populated. All you have to do is type in the name of the character and it will start making the character.

'Please enter a character name'

I go ahead with my character makeup as I get help from the support navigation looking like a fairy.

"The character's name is' Ute 'and"

Since I was a little girl the characters in the game have been made with this name, so this is the same name again.

'We will create an avatar. Would you like to use automatic support?

"Please."

"Now we will create an avatar based on your modeling data"

The avatar that floated up in front of me was a slightly beautifully shaped, well-dressed male avatar there. went. The LJO avatar creation engine, called God in part, has been working. It's just based on me, and my face has a slight trait. It's just silver hair and it's 200% beautified.

If the support AI tells you it's based on the user's face, you can say, "Well, this is it. It's also troublesome to mess with" excuses. Even if I use a beauty avatar, I can say, "Stay the default, I'm not messing with you."

Yeah. Everybody wants to play with a beauty avatar. But I took the time to beautify it, and I said, "Dude, you're in the mood and you're making too much avatar, right? I don't want to be told." It's nice, Mr. Beauty Correction Avatar Creation Engine, to relieve such a problem. Me? Of course, I'm gonna go beautifully without messing with anything like this!

'Do you want to make a charge?

This LJO, the only way to charge in the game is to scratch the character's appearance, but there's actually a place where you can only make a gutsy charge once. That is the first character makeup screen.

LJO is the first to allocate bonus points to make characters, but you can buy this bonus point for money - 5 points for 3,000 yen. I agree or disagree with you on this, but it would be a delightful service for society to not be able to log in for a long time, but not want to fall behind the offensive group.

"In the meantime, Max, you're charging"

There are abandoned socialites like me, but that's it. Let me charge you. It's 60,000 yen, 100 points seems to be the biggest. Well, there are plenty of traps when it comes to this charge, service.

The first trap is a two-hour time limit. It's been announced to reduce the burden on the servers, but they say it might be to induce billing. I'll explain why later.

Once you've charged, you earn bonus points. This is a random starting point for each character, separate from the points you earn in billing. I can do this acquisition over and over again. The point is random, it is assumed to be between 30 and 100, but well it would be superior if it came out over 60.

Next is the choice of profession screen. This is the second trap: five of the supposedly more than 50 lower occupations are presented and they are starting to choose among them. So if I don't have the profession I'm after, I'll start over...

If I redo my career choices here, it will result from obtaining bonus points. If you want to get a satisfactory outcome on both sides with bonus points and professions, you need a lot of luck. If you looked at the advance information and were after a rare position, it was likely not enough in two hours.

But after two hours, undecided items will be logged in with random, determined characters. This is the first time the announcement flows when the character is created, and it is also specified at the time of the contract. It is possible to redo character creation, but you need to recharge to earn bonus points. What a trap. For the start dash, there will also be people who make several bills. Operate!

So we have to make a compromise. The bonus points are going to be good if they add up to 150 or more.

There are two professions I'm after. Summoner or Tamer. Both were professions suitable for solo. Blah, I'm not good at group action, and I'm gonna do solo play. I don't even want to be watching someone else's complexion until I'm in the game.

Summoners are the vocation of summoning summoners in magic to fight. ○ Way to fight like a Summoner in the Final ○ Fantasy. Regardless, it is also possible to keep calling for a long time to become a party member, but MP consumption is quite high.

Tamer is a poke-on-trainer position. You can take up to 5 monsters. I can't use monsters as diverse as summoners, but I'm not calling them by surgery, so it doesn't consume MP. So it's a more solo occupation.

"All right, this is where it's coming from."

The first bonus earned was 66 points. Fair enough.

Please select a profession

"Eh... Well, don't we hit it from the start?"

It was Swordman, Soldier, Alchemist, Cleric and Farmer.

"Do Again"

"You will earn bonus points"

53? Well, that's a compromise line.

Please select a profession

Wood cutters, carpenters, pharmacists, anglers and crafters. Production, it's just a job. Start over.

I then repeated my career choices about 15 times, but I don't see the profession I'm after.

"Time limit, 30 minutes left."

Not good. Not good. Lower the compromise line? In the meantime, let's stick until 15 minutes left.

And the time has come. 16 minutes left. What 86 bonus points. And shown were Archer, Lancer, Magee, Farmer and Tamer.

"Tamer, here we go!

We did it. I immediately chose Tamer. Look at the list of initial bonuses that were announced on the official website and the simulation is complete. Much more than 150, which is the expected value, so there is also a lot of room.

Tamer is a profession that can serve warcraft and such. Experience is also assigned to serving monsters, which makes them estranged from party play with EXP headlines, but is considered very strong in solos.

"Please allocate bonuses"

I used 10 points first, changed the race from the default human, to halfling.

The appearance remains almost unchanged. Little, are you getting shorter? Instead of a slight drop in arm strength, health, this race gains dexterity, intelligence, and bonuses for the use and growth of service and natural skills. Let's call it a race for the rear guard Tamer. 176 left.

The next step is to upgrade the initial gear. At 20 points, he added the accessory 'Beast Bracelet' to the initial gear. Tamer's exclusive gear gives you bonuses for obedient magic and service skills. Well, I only have 1 defense.

All you have to do is spend 10 points and change your robe to "Silver Thread Robe" and your wand to "Sandalwood Wand" for 5 points. At the beginning, it should be pretty good gear. 141 points for the rest.

Develop your skills too. Grow the most important obedient witchcraft for Tamer. To raise 1LV, you need 4. Use 16 here to set LV5 as the upper limit that can be obtained with a bonus. High on this technique, they also affect Tame's success, in addition to bonuses on Mons' abilities. 125 left.

And it is the strengthening of the most important early monsters. Service-based professions such as Tamer, Summoner, and Necromancer are given a random, united servant monster at the outset. This can be enhanced with a bonus.

First, use 20 points and select Advanced Time. It is a bonus where the boundaries of random mons gained in the early years change. Usually one of the monsters that comes out of the initial area is chosen, but if you take this, it becomes chosen from the monsters in the second area. Also, the initial level of the Monster is +1. That's awesome.

Next time, use 25 to get a special taste. Early Mons is a bonus to becoming a unique individual. A unique individual is a somewhat more capable or skilled individual that has been named from the beginning. They're a lot for boss monsters and such. And this still has the effect of increasing the level of the initial mons by 1.

Mons Enhancement is not over yet. Use 20 points to select Extra Skills. Early monsters were a bonus for gaining special skills from the start. A special skill is a skill that, unlike a normal level up bonus, cannot be remembered without a special quest, etc. This also has an initial level of +1.

Then, spend 15 points and choose Blood Skills. It is a bonus of randomly acquiring rare skills that cannot be remembered on a level up or without a takeover from a parent, etc. You're just scared you don't know what you're gonna get. Well, I choose! The rest is 45 points.

The last enhancement is gear for mons. This seems to vary a lot depending on the early mons. I'll put in the biggest 15 points, too. 30 left.

Spend 15 points to change your initial funds from 500G to 3000G. 15 points remaining.

I also want to acquire initial skills. You can acquire up to 8 initial skills. Right now, there are only five of them: subordinate sorcery, servant, taste, wand, and cooking. Gain skills in collection, formulation and alchemy. Each cost 5 points.

The plan is to potion the material obtained from the sampling and make the most of it.

Alchemy was acquired because there are many moves to help with production and it will be mandatory for Tamer after the middle of the year. When there is an item called 'The Exorcist's Jewel' that can be made of alchemy, even Tamer can summon monsters like a Summoner. So I have an attempt to raise the level from the beginning.

I was also interested in witchcraft, but this time I dropped it off because the advice was on the bulletin board that it would be better to check the initial monster and then get the witchcraft that was compatible.

For this reason, the appraisal is given unconditionally to all players as a basic ability, so there is no need to choose.

Now I've run out of points. Perfect. We even got an initial increase in funding. Pfft. I'm gonna kick your start dash!

'Do you want to do a tutorial?

"Hmm. Is it possible to take it later?

'It is possible from help. Nor do you benefit from any items, skills, etc. in the tutorial'

Some games get paid and items when you get a tutorial, but I hear LJO is different. But tutorials matter...

"I'll take it"

'Copy that. Then we'll start the tutorial.'

The tutorial was the easiest one. I was just lightly taught how to use the arts, how to use my skills and how to produce them.

Well, now you won't have any trouble among LJOs.

"Welcome to the world of LJO. Enjoy the Unknown '
