Late. Tamer's day.

48 Stories Underground Exploration

After the altar, we decided to explore the basement that leads to the Alliance.

The lead is Ruin, a dwarf with a good night's eye as a racial trait. And Mr. Alyssa said he was also a merchant and a candidate.

In the middle, me and the productive Maple. My lord was our Sakura. Rick is letting him like it.

When I turned the corner for the second time, Mr. Alyssa shrugged bossly.

"It's a little different than when you were a beta."

"When you tested beta, what was it made of?

"It must have been the main road."

According to Alyssa, it was the main road during the beta test, and no monsters appeared, no collections, etc. But I've already turned the corner twice. There was also a difference with β.

"Queue"

"Rick, did you find anything?"

Yeah, Rick's been collecting material for me.

Red teng mushrooms and crusty mushrooms with edible ingredients, such as siiri mushrooms, are all the ingredients that can be collected around the town of the beginning, though not so much.

The other thing was different from β.

"Wait, it's a monster"

The leading Ruin stops everyone. I guess Ruin, with his dark vision, sees beyond the darkness that we can't foresee.

As he told me, multiple shades appeared from the end of the underground passage. As I observe the monsters in the dark, the whole thing immediately comes to my attention.

"Rock-ant."

I've never met him before, but he's a monster in the south woods and east plains.

Attack seems to be no big deal, but defense is quite high and a nasty opponent when gathered. In fact, they're taking a beginner's life next to a wild dog. He will be strong in the enemies that appear around the town of the beginning.

Though, you think magic defense is low, so if you can use magic, you won't have that much difficulty?

This could be the first time I've been active!

That's what I was thinking......

"Wurr!

"Rock Borloo!

"Wind Ball!

Three early ear cats were quickly cleaned up. Maple, it's good that Alyssa can use magic. It seems predicated that even warriors should be able to use one type, and it would be natural for them to remember witchcraft.

But what's Ruin's offense? He knocked out a rock ant that was supposed to be hard - and he was supposed to have blow resistance - with a Mace blow.

If I was surprised, I guess Ruin understood my question. He showed me his weapon and told me.

"This is my greatest masterpiece, Mace of the Great Fire. Has fire attributes"

I see, because of the attribute damage, you mean to go some way against Rockant as well?

Name: Mace of the Great Fire +

Rarity: 3 Quality: 8 Star Durability: 233

Effect: +41 Attack, Fire Attribute Granted, Small, Agility -4

Weight: 22

A red stone is embedded in the center of the copper mace. It was completely brain muscle equipped. It's impossible for me to even lift it. It would be a dwarf-like weapon to say it sounds like a dwarf.

After that, as soon as I waited for a chance to be active, the chance came around.

Ruin's assault won't reach Rockant, coming from behind.

Still, this underground passage only appears to be rock ant. I don't quite despise you because you sneak out of the ceiling from time to time. Well, thanks to Rick's alert skills, he won't be ambushed.

If that's how it went, Rick would have picked something interesting.

"Cucu!"

"White mushrooms? You've never seen it before."

When I appraised it, it was a red teng mushroom. However, it is a white variant.

Name: Red Teng Mushroom

Rarity: 1 Quality: 1 Star

Effect: Minor probability of poisoning, paralysis effect on the user.

Name: Red Teng Mushroom/White Variant

Rarity: 2 Quality: 3 Stars

Effect: Minor probability of poisoning, paralysis effect on the user. Increased mutation rate.

"Oh, is that a white variant?

"Did you know Mr. Alyssa?

"Yeah, we find them in caves sometimes. Like white asparagus or something, they say it grows in places where the sun doesn't shine. Well, I don't know the details."

"I see. What is this mutation rate? The flower petals in the waterfront tree also had this effect."

"Oh, that's..."

They can turn into special items that are completely different from what they are supposed to be when they are formulated or cultivated from time to time. You call that a mutation?

Sometimes it turns into something superior or different from what it was intended for, so it doesn't seem like it's all good.

If you use this white red tenge mushroom for conditioning, you have a good chance of mutating it.

However, I was also told not to expect much because the mutation rate is low within low rarity. To target mutations, they use materials for items, tools, and skills that increase mutation rates to formulate highly rare items over and over again to finally express themselves. Sure, I've never mutated before.

No, wait, wait, wait. The microflame grass I just collected. Could that have mutated the herb?

I asked Alyssa about it. It still seems that the microflame grass is a mutated drug herb. It does not appear to have changed to a special kind like the white variant, but to a homologous mutation with one high degree of rarity, a phenomenon usually called mutation.

"Mm-hmm. You don't have a lot of difficulty"

"Well, it's not microflame grass."

Rather, the light walnut was enough to react better. Apparently I haven't heard of any players who have made this harvestable in the field yet.

If you try to harvest walnuts in real life because of this, you need to rot or remove the pulp that covers the area around the shell, which is quite a hassle.

However, in this game the walnut in shell condition grows on the tree. Well, it's just too much work to plant pulp on the ground and rot it, and I guess that's an adult situation there.

There are other adult circumstances like that. Or it would be an adult circumstance enough at a time when you just knocked down a monster and you have fur and meat in your inventory without even dismantling it or anything.

"Can't you grow it for a white variant? If you grow up blocking the sunlight, it turns white?

I asked Mr. Maple, but he didn't know. Some people seem to try, but I don't hear about success.

Still, some people challenge cultivation, so Mr. Maple was taught how to cultivate it that they were trying. Well, it's not hard to do. We just dig holes, shut off the sunlight, and grow them there.

"Why don't you ask Olt when you get home?"

"If you find a way to grow it, sell the information -"

"No, professional farmers are struggling, aren't they? I don't think I can."

"No, I hope so."

"Well, I'll let you know when I find you."

When I promised, I got one good piece of information. When growing mushrooms, is water very important? They just improve the quality of the water and grow more. When cultivated using purified water, it was always possible to harvest two.

That was a blind spot. Let's just say I give Ort some purified water as soon as I get home.

And they taught me to change the inventory settings. Seeing as how I've received all the items Rick's been collecting, looks like it's gone awry.

Holy crap, if I tie my obeisance up in the inventory settings, they can set up the materials obtained by the obeisance who organize the party so that they are automatically punished by the inventory. Moreover, items within 4 hours of obtaining them will be newly marked in the inventory, so they will not mix either. It's convenient.

That's how I was in conversation with Maple and Alyssa, and I quickly came to an end. Ruin is mostly just a gavel because he's an oligarchy.

"It's a big door."

"Yeah, we're supposed to be in the basement of the Adventurer Alliance."

"Well, it doesn't open now."

Whatever Mr. Ruin did, the door couldn't be opened. Neither can my keys open this door. I guess it's a creation that only opens from the Adventurer Alliance side. In the end, I had to turn back.

"So that's it for today?

"Right."

"Good luck -"

"Wait, wait. Take this."

Mr. Alyssa and the others still seem to care about the keys, and they pushed rock ant material. Also, I don't need to be there. It's troublesome to ask questions, so I took it without saying anything.

However, you had a lot to gain from skipping that. For information on white variants, lock-ant material. Plus I got proficiency and experience. It turns out pretty satisfactory.

"I think I'll buy logs and go home in an agricultural guild before I go back to the fields"
