Late. Tamer's day.

89 Stories How to use beans

I got my memorial cheese at Mr. Alba's ranch, and I was walking willingly toward my next destination. The aim is the nearest, Mr. Knut, the bean farmer.

When I say bean farmer, I guess I only keep beans. Ordinary players might go through with it, but I expect quite a bit.

Speaking of beans, it's the baked beans I saw in the town where it started. I think he likes Rick. What if I could make those beans myself? Rick will be delighted.

If I can't buy the seeds, I'm going to buy the beans as much as I can because I have no choice.

After about 10 minutes of walking, you can see a single farmhouse. Looking at the backyard, it does plant sprawling plants. Is that the bean?

The exterior is really a normal private house. No one would think that beans could be bought here.

"I'm sorry. Is anybody there?

"Yes."

When I knocked on the farmer's door, there was an immediate reaction. It was a little woman who came out of it, like 20 years old. I guess this sister is Mr. Knut.

He looks at me in surprise.

"Oh? Mr. Traveler? What the hell can I do for you?

"I've heard you grow beans here. I'd like you to split it a little bit."

"Well, who did you ask?

Mr. Knut has a slightly troubled face. Apparently, they're not very welcome. I also heard when buying cheese from Mr. Abal, but the basics only seem to produce what is consumed in the village, and he may have trouble suddenly asking me to sell it.

"It's Grandpa Cayenne. Thank you for your help at home."

"Mr. Cayenne's introduction doesn't mean you can't go down there."

Could it be that he was being pushed back instead of just visiting? Thank you, Grandpa Cayenne. But he still looks sinister.

"Look, do me a favor, too, from you guys"

It's a little dastardly, but I've decided to use the greatest power the Devils have. Power, that is, be cute!

Kuku, even those distressed grocery store grannies otted, eat our squire bruises and cute bosses!

"M?"

――

"Cu?"

"Bear?"

As I beg you, Mr. Knut sank completely into the appearance of our children, who softly put their hands on her feet.

"Or cute......! Oh, my God, these kids!

It is a look of bliss, stroking everyone's head in turn. I think I'm gonna have a hug.

"Ha!... hon"

But you must have noticed my gaze. Coughing a little awkwardly, I got my place right.

"So, what do you want?

All right, they won't sell it for once.

"Soy beans? Or miso or soy sauce?

What? Now there's a word you shouldn't listen to.

"Are you selling miso and soy sauce?

"That's right. Because I'm a bean farmer."

Right, was this where you bought the miso and soy sauce that was in Grandpa's house? Still, you're up to turning the beans you grew into condiments in your own house.

"All I want is beans, miso, soy sauce, and bean seeds, if you have one."

"Um, you don't have any extra seeds. I'll split the rest."

Was the seed still impossible? But I'm honestly happy to get miso etc. So why don't you ask me?

"How do you make miso and soy sauce from beans?

"It's easy, isn't it? The beans are boiled, salted in crushed objects, and fermented in a magic tool called a fermented barrel. Miso if it's just salt. Saltwater makes soy sauce."

"Can you get that fermented barrel in this village?

"No, you just didn't sell it in the village. I also bought it in the town where it started."

Oh, my God, are you selling in the town of beginnings? Then there's a chance that I'm selling it somewhere just because I couldn't spot it. Besides, if the baked beans are for sale, you'll get the beans, and you might be able to make your own.

But it doesn't seem that easy.

"But fermentation barrels can't be used without fermentation skills, as the name suggests?

"Fermentation skills? Is there even such a thing..."

Speaking of which, there was a profession called Brewer, isn't it strange... Hmm, just for condiments, I also take fermentation skills...... But maybe you can make booze or something?

I asked Mr. Knut, and he said fermentation skills can make booze and yogurt or something.

It sounds interesting to have a glass of your own wine or a beer. I'd also like to see how the Orts react when they drink... Well, I guess it's on hold until the end of the event for now. We'll find out when we get back to town.

I eat 10 beans. I bought miso and soy sauce one by one and left the bean farmer behind. Even so, it is a small shake of about 3 liters, so I couldn't buy too many, but I can't help it. Let's just be lucky we got it.

"The next closest thing to here..."

The closest thing to the bean farmer is Mr. Bats's house where the mushroom is collected. It didn't take me five minutes to get along with everyone else.

But no one answers. Apparently, he's on the go. Too bad. We'll come back in the evening.

"Then the hunter Kakal's house is close."

The fisherman's house, though, is almost as far away.

Both are near the entrance to the village, so we pass through Central Square along the way. Then I found myself getting a lot of attention. Well, my kids do.

There's a yellow scream coming from a female player, and obviously my gaze is focused at my feet. It happens every time, but you're not used to it yet.

As I was trying to get through the square feeling uncomfortable, I was called from behind.

"Uh, excuse me"

"Yes?"

Looking back, a man of the Beast stands.

"Mr. Silver, right?

I don't want to say hi to that alias, but I can't help denying it here. I nodded reluctantly.

"Yeah, well. Sometimes they call it that."

"You know, there's something I'd like to ask you, would you like a moment?

You can't imagine from the look of a wild beast man, sooo - you're low on your hips. It's hard to say no if you say so.

"Oh, if it's just a little bit"

"Thank you. I'd like to know where you're staying."

"What do you mean?

According to the man's story, the village lacks a place to stay and a fair number of players are in trouble. The accommodation can only accommodate a small number of people, and the tent doesn't seem to be available outside the square.

It is also possible to set up a tent outside the village, but the tent is normally attacked by monsters because it is not a safety zone, and even if they do wild boarding in the proper part of the village, they will not recover any HP, etc.

Now he seemed to manage to give up the place in the square and sleep in order.

And while I was working on a roster to use the timetable to use the square, you think they realized I wasn't in the square or the inn?

Well, we're conspicuous, and we can't help being noticed?

"I mean, you want to know where I'm staying?

"Rather than, if there's a place to stay outside of the Inn and Square, I'd like you to tell me. Can't you......?

Hmm. Nothing's wrong with that, is it? I can't exactly invite you to Grandpa Cayenne's house, but there won't be any particular disadvantage in giving you the information that you can stay at NPC's.

The man looks very surprised when I tell him I'm staying at the NPC house.

Actually, they had more than one player trying on the first day. But they refused without a scratch, and the players decided they couldn't?

But when I heard the details, I kind of figured it out. I guess they offered nothing in return and just asked me to stay in good faith.

I'm a coincidence, but it's in the form of helping with field work and getting people to stay instead. Maybe that's the difference. I told the man about it.

"So you're saying we have to help each other out in some way"

"Speculation, though. Well, labor quests. Some useful quests for villagers of some kind, why don't you give them a try?

"Right. Do you mind spreading this information to everyone?

"Fine."

"Thank you! Very helpful!

The man bowed his head politely to the end and left. Server points are unlikely to make a contribution, and I need to be of some use in places like this.
