Having finished his conversation with Pamidor, Ray was walking around the city again with Seto.

It should be noted that Pamidor has already broken up with the story that he has a place of purpose.

"Hmmm...... hey Seto. How the hell do you think I should lure the guy who's pulling the thread behind this one?

"Gru......"

It was Ray asking, but Seto shook his neck sideways as he rang his throat.

Even if Ray asked, Seto probably didn't have any particular ideas like this.

Most importantly, even so, Ray doesn't imitate Seto as blaming him.

Because Ray couldn't think of anything either, so I asked Seto with the thought that maybe.

"Uh, yeah. Never mind. I'm not blaming you. It just doesn't make sense to stay like this forever."

Ray whining as he strokes Seto.

Seto being stroked must have understood that Ray wasn't angry. Ringing my throat with joy.

While stroking such a ceto, Ray ponders what he should do to this commotion.

(I hope they tail out easily over there, but there's no sign of that at all. When I try to do something, I use a red cloth.... In the first place, it hurts to not even know how much red cloth is left. Granger didn't seem to know the area either)

In the first place, Granger was hired only to take command of the destruction of the dirt walls and, at the same time, to dispose of the red cloths by Kobolt.

More than that, Granger himself knows about the red cloth... not to mention the person behind it.

I was keeping an eye on the stronghold as a known location, but the guards I was watching ended up being attacked by redcloth.

When this happened, it was Ray's current feeling that there were few more clues.

(The redcloth guys that have ambushed me seem to have captured most of them, but given the flow so far, it's not the first chance they have a clue. So... after all, the easiest thing to do is show you that I'm here by walking all over the city? I guess that means walking around the city this way also makes sense for once)

Think that way, while walking around the ground looking around...

"Ah."

Two, find a familiar face and stop that movement.

It was a similar flow to when Pamidor called me earlier, but the difference this time is that Ray found the other one.

And sometimes we just met, that Ray hadn't forgotten the other guy's face.

"Huh!?

Did you hear Ray whining, that opponent accidentally looks at Ray and breathes.

Still, I guess I didn't try to escape because Ray had decided there was nothing like pointlessly attacking himself.

... In fact, I only chased him because a more important person named Granger escaped than the man, and the man... one of the redcloths, who, when Ray encountered him, was arguing with the man who was unhappy with the construction of the dirt wall, is right that he missed it because it doesn't matter.

Together, Ray approaches the man with Seto.

The other side sees Ray approaching, but there's no escape, waiting.

Maybe he just thinks he'll get caught running.

"You, you were still in Gilm"

"... no, naturally. Getting out of the guild under the circumstances is suicidal. And alone."

"I guess. But still being on the surface like this isn't that suicidal? You'd be in danger if they found you too."

Danger in this case does not mean that the guards will find...

It means it's dangerous if the people who hired Granger find you.

This man is acting with Granger, and he knows Granger will let Kobolt kill these men... and it's not surprising that this mastermind just thought so, and he should have just the power to do it.

Nonetheless, it was only natural to be shy as Ray because he walks smoothly down the street like this.

"Even so. We're not going to Slam Street."

It's not like this man gave a little bit to Slam Street as a red cloth, but it's true that another red cloth caused such a thing.

Beyond that, if a man goes to Slam Street and finds out it's a red cloth, that could also be life-threatening injury.

I guess the guy doesn't imitate things like going to Slam Street because he knows that too.

"You deserve it. … but what to do. Do you want to go somewhere with Granger?

"... with him? What the hell is wrong with him?

More than broken up on that occasion, the man naturally doesn't know where Granger is right now.

That's why I asked, but I have a slight fear of that look... because I thought they would tell me that Granger's place was in the afterlife?

In fact, given the momentum Ray had yesterday when he went after Granger, it's not surprising that the man thought so.

Still, I understand and ask Ray's words that he didn't die, and that the guards didn't catch him.

"I gave it to Gilm's intelligence unit. Probably training a lot by now.... No, maybe I could say I'm studying."

Just because you're an intelligence unit operating behind a guild doesn't mean you don't have to do classes.

No, Ning Lo. Sometimes I remember things because they are like that.

Even in the presence of the back...... no, it's the presence of the back that makes the neighborhood have to be solid.

(Come to think of it, those guys that only look like chimps or something because they see Egg's men, they do that kind of sitting)

Thinking of it that way, the man who was talking to Ray gets an unpleasant look from the bottom of his heart... and Ray questions it.

The fact that they say study and hate it so far, that is because it seemed to me that the man in front of me knew specifically that study.

If I had never studied in any way before, it seemed like that would never cause a rejection so far when I was told that it was study.

Or it's possible that someone was asking me how difficult and annoying it is to study.

"What, you don't like studying so much?

"... oh"

"But is there someone else I should rely on right now? If you do, you can rely on that... but you wouldn't let a guy like that walk down the street about this in a situation like this. Well, maybe he imitated that because he didn't think anything of it."

"Gu, that's..."

A man stuck in words.

In fact, until Ray told me, I guess I didn't really feel like I was doing such a dangerous imitation.

Still didn't like studying, the man thinks a little...... eventually, he puts it in his mouth.

"Then I won't stay here like this and hide myself where I heard it a while ago. Then you don't have to rely on me to study or anything."

"Well, we need to find it over there..."

I hope so.

That's what Ray tried to say, and he stops the move.

Something bothered me, so I remembered the conversation... I noticed.

"Did I mention where I heard it a while ago? Who the hell is that from?

"What? No, from who... uh... who was it"

I guess it's because Ray's words were surprising. The man tries to remember who he heard it from and eventually opens his mouth.

"You're the guy who was bringing us food and stuff. I couldn't get out and we were free, so I started talking a lot with the guys who brought food. In that conversation, I heard some applause... I think."

"For what you said you were going there, that's a pretty vague expression."

"That's what they said, and I remember that in Ray's words, so you can't help it."

He was a dissatisfied man to say, but not quite so for Ray.

Where the man who was carrying the food to this man was saying...... that is, because it was more than likely one of the bases of the one mastermind of this Kobolt case.

That's probably not the disposable hub Grange knew about, but the real possibility of a hub.

(Is there any chance that he brought food and intentionally gave it away...? No, but I didn't think this guy would do anything to talk to me like this. When that happens, there is ample potential. then......)

Quickly gather thoughts.

That's probably why this man is so likely to be the key to breaking the status quo that he was stuck with in this case.

"Where is that?

"Huh? Hey, dude. All of a sudden."

"Fine, tell me. If I told you that... well, I'll tell you to hide you from the guards."

"... is that true?

A man asks the words of Ray, who suddenly has changed his attitude, in suspicion.

No way, I wouldn't even completely abandon him until now... but Ray, who still wasn't going to make it that convenient, suddenly told me he was going to hide himself, so I'd rather not be suspicious of it.

Most importantly, all Ray said was to tell the guards to hide, and Ray himself wasn't going to hide the man.

"True. That's the only important substitute for the information you have.... I don't think he's conscious."

There was absolutely no clue that would lead to the person behind this one, and Ray and the guards were completely stuck in the investigation.

At that point, it's a clue that all of a sudden came up, so the option of missing it doesn't exist.

Not to mention, as far as listening to a man, and possibly even if he doesn't think it's important to him himself, there's actually the possibility that there's important information.

If so, Ray does not have the option of missing such an important source.

"In the meantime, we're going to the guard's stuffing. I need you to wash up and throw up what you know."

"Oh, hey? Hey, wait a minute. That's probably not going to look me up or anything like that!?

The man who was told to throw up all washed up, naturally wonders if he could possibly be concealed by a guard actually means he would be caught.

... In fact, maybe that's not wrong because what Ray is thinking is putting him in a locker or somewhere to protect him.

"I don't mean to, but it's best if you stay somewhere sturdy to protect you. In that sense, it's a pretty good deal to be a bartender. … there are few guards, so you don't have to think about how easy it is for the other hand to get to the cabin."

"That's right...... you can't walk outside freely?

"Naturally."

What's Ray saying to the man? Tell them like that.

"Like right now, if you're free to walk outside, if there was a chaser after you, I'm sure it would be a good opportunity. Or can you do something about someone who's attacking you, confused by the crowd? If you have the ability to feel like killing, you might be able to do something about it..."

You can't do that. I'll tell you something else, Ray.

There were places where a man thought of Ray's attitude like that, but he can't actually feel things like killing or signs, so he can't say anything.

With the ability of that hand, it would be somewhat safe to stay in the crowd... but there is no better option for a man today to leave the city than to be able to do that.

I also thought for a moment that I would not seek asylum from Ray because of his temporary strengths, but from what Ray said and did, I can understand that I would definitely die if I did that.

"Oh."

"So there's nothing wrong with going to the guard's locker?

"Do that. I'm just telling you, even if there's nothing in the place that I just heard, don't get mad at me, okay? It's only because that's what came out of public discourse."

If you think the corner guards can protect you, they tell you that the information wasn't actually helpful, and you don't feel comfortable getting thrown out.

Ray nods back to the man who tells him he thinks so and that there is no problem.

"You're gonna be okay around there. The guards have a strong sense of responsibility. If you don't know anything, I think you'll be okay with something you can't fit in and protect."

To Ray's words, the man finally knew he was going to the guard's quarters.
