Legend

1999 Story

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

The man runs away screaming.

But from behind such an escaping man comes a woman dressed like a whore or dancer.

No, it's not just that woman that's coming after us, it's got to be a bunch of adventurers coming after us.

In his confused mind, the man only thinks of running away anyway.

I am desperate to escape from those who are following me at all from behind, wielding a dagger with blood all over me that I hold.

Or maybe if I threw down the dagger I had, it wouldn't have stood out that much... but in a confused man right now, I couldn't even afford to come up with that.

Now, anyway, it just means I'm gonna run away, which is all in its head.

But... at the next moment, a man carelessly notices someone running next to him.

"Wow!

I realized that was the person who came after me... not translated, but in a half-reflective move the man waves a dagger.

In a man's hand, blood went up on his head during an earlier fight, leaving him with the feeling of stabbing a person in the body… Still, he waved a dagger out of fear that he might get caught.

"Oh, no."

But when I wonder if I've heard such a voice, the next moment the man's vision flips and he feels a strong shock on his back.

What happened? What happened?

I was a man who thought so for a moment, but I guess it was totally unexpected that I was exploited for the momentum I was running, and the momentum I wielded my dagger, and I was slapped to the ground as I was... etc.

The woman who did it...... Vihera also did little to imitate the person who stabbed a person and escaped, so the man could not breathe for a moment due to the impact of being slapped to the ground, and at the next moment he coughs up violently while still sleeping on the ground.

"Absolutely. Don't use weapons like this if you're fighting, just do it with your bare hands"

Exhaling as if frightened, Vihera waits for those who are grouping together today to arrive.

Sometimes in the group, only Vihela has the ability to protrude, and this is how he caught a man at once just in Vihela.

Looking at the man coughing up, Vihera recalls one thing this time.

The beginning of things is not so complicated.

That's what bumped into me when I was walking down the road, not bumping into me. I'm staring, I'm not staring. For such a lopsided reason, several groups at a time became contentious.

Only the bloody young men would naturally beat each other if they were in contention... and if they thought they were disadvantaged, it was natural for one of those who didn't want to lose like this or be insulted to pull out a dagger of nostalgia.

The man who was excited waved the dagger half-onset...... stabbed him in the thigh of a man who was in a conflicting group.

What surprised me about that was that it was the fellow man who stabbed him.

Whatever the fight was about, we never thought our people would use their weapons and really stab them instead of threatening them.

And the man who stabbed him escaped from fear, and the result was like this.

"Totally, it's just spring, why are there so many people like this?"

"Ha, ha, ha... that's because it's just spring"

One of the adventurers who has finally caught up with me tells him so with a rough breath.

And Vihera also knew that the word was never actually wrong.

I knew it, but I'm still dissatisfied.

"Policing work...... I should have taken it on a little later. Maybe Bühne was at the Marina's because he knew this could happen."

It was just spring and during the winter months large numbers of personnel who were not in the Guild came in for a short period of time.

Many of them, naturally, are problematic children who make incidents like this one...... or have more personality problems than that.

The large number of people coming in at once also increases the number of people who, naturally, cause problems.

Given that, this is probably the hardest time in the sense of policing.

Buune, who lived alone in the labyrinth city of Exil for many years, predicted the area and stayed at the marina's house today - although Buune was also once a sleepover at dusk wheat pavilion - I guess.

"As far as we're concerned, I'm glad to have someone with arms like Mr. Vihera with us.... and it's still easier without the red cloth."

"Red cloth..."

Many of the red cloths were killed as sacrifices to eyeballs.

Fortunately, some of them still survived, but they are losing themselves and do nothing spontaneously.

As far as Vihella knew, they were being held under house arrest in some building by Dusker.

Most people who do nothing spontaneously just drain food, water, and other supplies.

This is how I keep him alive because he is a Dusker, but if he were a more ruthless lord or someone who decides he doesn't need to bother to keep his unprofitable existence alive, Red Buddha would have already been killed that he doesn't exist, he just lives.

Or, since some of the red cloths were young women, it is possible that fate was more tragic than death awaited.

Given the circumstances around it, Dusker would deserve to be called a good enough person to keep him alive, even if he didn't think about how to treat him.

"Mr. Vihera? What's wrong, sir?

"No, it's nothing. In the meantime, shall I take this man to the guard's stuffing? There's no way we're gonna be able to keep it that way."

"That's okay. I've already sent some more guards."

"Oh, that's sweet."

To Vihera, who smiles and tells her so, the man found his cheeks reddened himself.

Neither does a man know a woman.

I sometimes went to a whorehouse if I could afford the money, and I had a lover.

Still, just seeing Vihella grin makes me react so initially.

Continue the administrative conversation with Vihera as she manages to push and kill her desire to roll around the ground with her head to such a reaction of her own.

Eventually the guards arrived and Vihera stayed on the spot until she caught the man.

"Yes, this shouldn't be a problem. … but don't push it."

"Thank you, Master Marina"

The man, who finished treating his injury by the spiritual magic of the water used by the marina, leaves the room with his head down.

Dropping off such a hindsight, the marina looks around.

Several wizards are each using their own healing magic to treat the injured.

No, it's not just restorative magic, many people are using herbivores to recover.

Originally, there are very few wizards, and even fewer of them can use healing magic.

However, few people have recovered from such things as herbs and potions if they have minor injuries.

In fact, because the man whose marina recovered had also driven him crazy on hand during the construction of the addition and had suffered some pretty deep scratches with carpentry tools.

... In this case, I guess I should praise the spiritual magic prowess of Marina, who treated Ning Lo that many injuries in a short time.

"Nevertheless, you're constantly injured."

"I can't help that. So many people are working together."

A woman who used herbs to finish treating a minor injury returns that to Marina's whining.

"Right. It's just... some bloody kids got into fights, not injuries on the job... right? Look, they just brought me in, they stabbed me in the leg with a blade, like an injury."

"Oh, that's... right. When there are so many people at once, they get mixed up."

With that said, the woman gives a disgusting look.

If you try to be a woman, it won't be interesting to treat the injuries you sustained as a result of such a sluggishness, regardless of the injuries you sustained in the construction of Gilm's additions.

No, it's not just because it's not funny, it's simply because stocks of medicinal herbs are numbered, because they're huge.

What would happen if there were no herbs for such people when they used herbs?

I guess that's what women have in mind.

It doesn't really matter to the marinas who are healing with spiritual magic.

Nevertheless, the spiritual magic of the marina is not used without any consideration.

The magic you give to the Spirit is finite, and it's possible that the Spirit itself gets tired of healing.

"Guards and adventurers who have been asked to keep the peace are working hard, and those people are not going to be gone... but I'm sure they're going to be less"

Instead of being gone, where I describe it as less, the woman who was listening to the marina gives a disgusting look.

If you try to be a woman, I guess it's honest that you don't want to treat someone like that if you can.

"Right. Less if you can…"

I hope so.

Before the woman said so to the end, the young men who had quarreled again for unsolicited reasons came, and the woman devoted herself to treatment while curbing frustration.

Marina's house garden.

The space is comfortable and amazing without a marina.

Now it's spring already, but still a little cold to imitate enjoying tea so slowly outside the house......

If it's just Elaine, I don't really need to worry about that area, but now there are faces like Ara and Bühne.

For this reason, the garden was set up in such a way that it was very easy to do so by the marina.

"Dear Elaine, this is from the user of Count Burrow's house."

Arla returns to the garden and hands over a letter before Elaine.

The letter was firmly waxed and indicated to be an official letter.

"Count Burrow? But not in person."

Placing the tea on the table, Elaine uses a knife to break the envelope and glance at the letter.

"Again."

"Weren't you in person?

"Oh. I'm a relative of Count Burrow. Apparently he wants to see me... well, what's up"

In the spring, just as many came in search of work, so did the aristocracy again this spring, considerably more.

Those sent by the nobles who found out that Gilm would build more and scale from the city to the city.

Most importantly, nobles close to the guilds have already arrived within the last year, so it is far from the guilds that came in the spring… or the hands of nobles who are not good at gathering information.

Count Burrow, who brought the letter, is also a nobleman with a territory far from Gilm, unable to send a corresponding figure in the course of last year, and he must have finally arrived this spring.

And being a nobleman belonging to an aristocrat, I suppose you've wanted to see him because he made you a daughter of the Duke of Kelp, who leads the aristocrat, and a symbol of the aristocrat with the alias of General Princess.

"Count Burrow is someone who doesn't hear bad rumors. Wouldn't you like me to see you?

Just to belong to the same faction, Ara naturally knew about Count Burrow, too.

It is rare for the aristocracy - and I am very sorry for Ara to have to express this - that it lays down good governance and that its territory is quite prosperous.

If this were the kind of aristocracy that was exploiting heavily from the people, I would not have imitated Ara's suggestion to meet her, as it could have had a negative effect on Elaine.

To Ara's words, Elaine thinks a little...... eventually nods.

"If I could, I would have liked to see Count Burrow himself. But I get it. If that's what Ara says, I'll see you. Ara, I want you to talk to the other side and set a seat for the meeting."

"Okay. I'll be ready in a minute."

That's what I said, head down and Arla leaves the garden.

Dropping it off, Elaine carries the tea into her mouth again.

In the garden, Bühne is playing with Yellow, and Elaine looks at the sight with a grin.

"Pfft, it's springtime and everyone's getting active... well, I wonder what's going to happen this year"

There will definitely be some incidents this year.

Elaine looked up at the sky with pleasure, whining words as if she were so sure.
