Felix fully drawn the bow, accumulating fire energy that surprised the people around him.

At the same time, his Aura was fluctuating, his concentration was shaking.

Beads of sweats appeared on his forehead.

Those who were observing him, including Sky Marshal Kaelor couldn’t help but observe him intently.

As Felix was struggling to maintain his Aura while increasing the intensity of the fire on his fully drawn bow, he suddenly felt like he was missing something.

He could not release the arrow, despite fully drawn, unless he felt complete.

Gazing at the horde of demonic monsters, recalling the people he had to protect against them, he suddenly felt a burst of emotion.

He felt enraged. His fully drawn bow suddenly exploded with more fire energy, seemingly carelessly consuming a whole different level of fire energy.

Sky Marshal Kaelor, who was supposed to feel worry for Felix’s careless use of fire energy, was astonished instead.

In fact, Felix’s fire energy consumption was similar than before, albeit his Aura made it possible for Felix to consume fifty percent energy in the surrounding and fifty percent from his energy core, making it energy efficient.

What made the fully drawn bow to explode with intense fire energy was because how his fire energy itself changed.

So, that is Archer Intent?

When Felix’s concept of arrow from his bow was formed, he treated his weapon not just as it was.

He believed that his weapons was an extension of his will and inevitability to create what he was—as an Archer.

It might easy as it sounds, it was difficult to form an Archer Intent.

Sky Marshal Kaelor himself could recall how his Killing Intent was manifest.

It was not because he killed a lot of beasts, but because he slowly began to feel enlighten of his very presence.

For him, Intent means understanding the fundamental concept and nature of his weapon.

His beasts and his weapons were meant to conquer the sky—those who tried to obstruct him would face his killing spree.

It took him years to develop a Killing Intent.

Staring at Felix, who was not yet 20 years old, he was deeply astonished.

This guy possess immense potential. His eyes lit up.

Felix, on the other hand, didn’t feel he had already developed his Intent.

His state at the moment was forcing Ashen to understand her why she became a weapon for Felix.

Ashen, although resisted at first, found that accepting Felix’s concept made her feel she was reborn.

Annihilation! Annihilation! Annihilation!

She continued to scream in his mind, causing her emotion to build up, intensifying the fire energy she released after receiving Felix’s concept.

She possessed an extraordinary flame, and she was born to annihilate those who oppose her with her very being.

The tip of the arrow was forming a miniature of fireballs—then eight more other miniature formed and surrounded the first miniature.

When Felix’s Intent was finally fully manifested, the eight miniature fireballs converged with each other, extending the sharp point of the arrow.

Now, the fully drawn bow was ready to release its first arrow that was augmented with Aura and Intent.

Everyone’s eyes was fixated at Felix’s arrow.

They felt threatened despite some being at the peak of the Commander rank.

Sky Marshal Kaelor himself couldn’t help but narrow his eyes.

That arrow alone can injure a Lord Beast.

Just as he thought so, the fire arrow finally left the bow, akin to a rocket missile, resounding a sharp noise that startled everyone awake.

They immediately tried to follow the arrow, but it almost seemed like to have disappeared.

Just as they wondered where it was, a massive explosion rang out where the flood of demonic creature came from.

They simultaneously turned their head and saw explosions after explosions rang out in different directions.

Although the explosions that followed after the first had lesser impact, it was enough for them to notice that those who were caught in the explosions were either heavily injured or has been reduced to ashes.

They were dumbfounded.

Felix was younger than any of them, yet he instantly proved that he was stronger than them, only second to Sky Marshal Kaelor in their group.

Just as they were lost in their own thoughts, Sky Marshal Kaelor shouted, "Formation!"

The people at the present might not belong to the military, but every single one of them learned a basic formation.

Tanks on the front, controller, striker, and support at the back.

Although most of the Commander Beast Tamer with tank beasts were unwilling at first, knowing that their tanks would be the one to sacrifice themselves, understanding that their lives were at stake, they encouraged their beasts to finally form a formation.

Once the formation was formed, the demonic creatures were finally within sight.

The plateau itself trembled beneath countless pounding limbs.

Dust, ash, and shattered obsidian rose into the air as the advancing horde surged forward like a living avalanche, swallowing everything behind it.

The creatures leading the charge possessed grotesquely bloated torsos supported by six elongated limbs that bent at impossible angles.

Their pale gray flesh stretched tightly over swollen muscles and exposed ribs, while clusters of crimson eyes blinked independently across their shoulders and spine.

They surged across the obsidian plateau with disturbing speed, their hooked claws scraping against the black stone in a chorus of shrill screeches.

Every few steps, their vertically split mouths opened wide, producing an endless clicking that sounded like thousands of bones grinding together.

A single sight of them was enough to terrify every single beast tamer, yet there were countless of them.

It was just one of the other demonic creatures.

Interspersed among the swarms were enormous wolf-like demons seemingly carved from fractured obsidian.

They ran with unnerving silence, their bodies flickering as portions of their limbs briefly vanished before reforming mid-stride.

Through the cracks in their dark hides, glowing violet organs pulsed rhythmically, while endless rows of teeth stretched impossibly deep into their mouths whenever they snarled.

Packs of lean shadow-cloaked predators darted across the ground with terrifying agility.

Their black fur absorbed the surrounding light, making them appear as shifting patches of darkness racing between the larger demons.

Long forelimbs ended in obsidian claws that tore shallow grooves into the plateau with every stride, while pale silver eyes remained fixed upon the defenders.

Whenever one disappeared behind another demon, it seemed to melt into the shadows before emerging somewhere entirely unexpected.

Those were just the ground demonic creatures.

The sky above them were filled with demonic creatures, as well.

Above the advancing horde, vast colonies of bat-like demons darkened the sky.

Their translucent black bodies revealed pulsating crimson organs beneath stretched skin, while rows of obsidian spines lined their backs like jagged ridges.

The deafening shrieks of thousands merged into a single piercing wail that echoed across the plateau.

Towering over the bat swarms were humanoid avian demons whose obsidian feathers gleamed like sharpened blades beneath the crimson sky.

Their immense wings beat with enough force to scatter ash in violent spirals.

Crimson eyes searched for the humans as steel-rending talons flexed beneath them, waiting for the first opening to descend.

Such horrifying sights sent a chill to beast tamers, whose Aura was flickering.

Sky Marshal Kaelor naturally noticed their reaction and were not surprised.

He was about to order his Chainbolt Wyvern to fire a chain lightning to ease the fears of the beast tamers when he was surprised to perceive Felix’s fire aura exploding again.

He had fully drawn his bow. He appeared so focus that his mouth remained open, as saliva seep out in the corner of his lips.

His eyes... were burning with fervent desire to annihilate the demonic creatures.

He was not frightened at all.

The beast tamers who saw him felt ashamed.

Felix was definitely not naive, out of everyone present, he was the first to be shaken and experienced an anxiousness attack after they entered the space rifts.

They could understand him, Felix was with his parents and younger sister—the mere thought of losing them was enough to make them feel despair.

However, not only he was among those who kept their composure despite the tide of demonic creatures threatening to swallow them whole, he was the leading beast tamer who kept attacking the tide.

At the same time, they recognized his beast pet—a Moonfrost Cat.

The Moonfrost Cat was supposed to be an assassin and controller, but she was standing atop the tanker beast in the front, staring at the flood of demonic creatures with her cold eyes.

Her white fur fluttered against the wind filled with corrupted energy and the distinct Aura could be perceived layering above her skin, making her majestic than any other beasts.

There were no sunlight and lunar was absent either, but precisely because of the former and the Aura strengthened her.

Although she was currently at 3rd Tier Rare rank, Moon herself was confident to contribute a lot in the war.

As the flood of demonic creatures were closing in, she jumped and left the thunder formation created by Sky Marshal Kaelor.

It was not because of her master’s order.

Her master was currently busy drawing fire energy into the arrow.

It would take ten seconds for the arrow to be released and a minute or more to replenish her master’s energy reserves.

At this moment, she was free to do whatever she wanted.

And the first thing she did was to leave the thunder formation that affected the surroundings.

When the abyssal density increased without the thunder formation, Moon growled and her Aura intensified.

Not only her master was maintaining the Aura, but she was also controlling it as well.

Now, she felt like she was multiple times stronger than before.

Her eyes flashed with cold glint.

She set her eyes to a wolf-like demon and brandished her claws that pierce through the hard obsidian rock...
