The "Silent One" security guard looked toward the Old Royal Tower, which was enveloped by the silhouettes of countless complex matrices. His lips parted, about to utter the first syllable, but in that instant, an abrupt change occurred.

In a flash, the entire World lost its color, turning into the monotonous black and white of an old silent film without any warning. It was as if an invisible, giant hand had pressed the World’s mute button. All sound vanished, leaving only a chilling silence.

The security guard’s lips moved as he spoke a complete sentence, but within this silent domain, his Ability seemed to be suppressed and failed to activate.

He showed no sign of panic. A warm glow, like the light of dawn, emanated from his body. The black-and-white filter instantly receded as if it had met its natural enemy, and the area around him regained its color and sound.

"Disperse." The moment the security guard spoke, the black-and-white filter covering the entire World vanished. Immediately after, a fine, silvery thread appeared, coiling around his body like a venomous snake and constricting violently.

"Move."

The security guard vanished from his spot. As the silver thread constricted, it tore through space, revealing a gaping hole to the void like a rip in a piece of old cloth.

"Mental confusion. Self-collapse."

After dodging the attack, the security guard reappeared in a higher position and continued to speak with rapid-fire speed, "Forbid the transfer of damage, forbid the twisting of damage, forbid the evasion of damage..."

As he finished speaking, a stifled groan of unbearable pain echoed in the air. A man with skin as smooth and flawless as porcelain tumbled out of the void, coughing up mouthfuls of blood. His body convulsed, his eyes lost all reason, and he became like a wild beast.

DONG!

Suddenly, a majestic bell tolled. An ancient, massive stone bell covered in cryptic patterns materialized in the air. The patterns themselves radiated a powerful Spiritual Attack, and the sound that erupted from the bell was like a raging tidal wave, transforming into a visible tsunami of sound that spread out in every direction. Its cascading ripples caused space itself to Twist.

Furthermore, the tolling was a terrifyingly powerful Spiritual Attack, plunging the security guard into a momentary stupor. The sound, however, seemed to have no effect on the man with porcelain-white skin. On the contrary, it helped him purge the damage he had taken and regain his sanity.

"Enter the Spirit Realm."

The security guard snapped out of his stupor. His Words Became Law, and in the next second, the figures of the two Demigods and the ancient stone bell vanished without a trace, having entered the battlefield of the Spirit Realm.

Facing the Spiritual Attack unleashed by the B-Level Forbidden Object, Zhou Chen’s vision went black and his ears began to ring. His mind felt as if it had been struck by a Heavy Hammer, and he immediately spat out a mouthful of blood. His Spirit and Soul were protected by the Power of the Prayer Space, so the damage he took was minimal. Still, the terrifying Spiritual Attack left him feeling wretched, dizzy, and disoriented.

Fortunately, the two Demigods had already departed. Otherwise, he would have undoubtedly died in the aftermath of their battle.

After steadying himself, Zhou Chen’s gaze sharpened as he looked toward the Wind Witch and his companions. They had also been caught in the Spiritual Attack’s shockwave. Only a handful had managed to withstand it. The remaining humans and Corrupters had either had their Souls shattered or their minds broken, rendering them combat-ineffective.

’Better finish them off, before things get more complicated...’ With a thought, Zhou Chen flapped his Steel Wings and shot forward.

With so many High Tier experts around, he didn’t dare use brainwashing again, fearing his methods would be discovered and cause a great deal of trouble.

"Damn it!" In the distance, the Wind Witch, bleeding from all seven orifices, glared furiously at the "Painter." But this was no time for infighting. He spat out a mouthful of blood. The scarlet liquid condensed in the air into a series of Abyss Curses, which were then torn apart by a gale and absorbed into the wind.

A massive, blood-red tornado began to form, a calamitous hurricane that barreled toward Zhou Chen. At the same moment, the Painter took out her brush, dipped it in crimson pigment, and made a sweeping gesture toward Zhou Chen from a distance.

Zhou Chen, having already experienced the Painter’s ability, had no intention of meeting it head-on. The mobility of this Corrupter body was terrifying; it could easily break the sound barrier and reach Mach 5. With a sonic BOOM and a spreading white vapor cone, Zhou Chen executed an unbelievable right-angle turn in mid-air.

BOOM!

A long, narrow slash mark appeared along his former flight path. Several buildings were mercilessly sliced apart and destroyed, and a deep trench was carved into the earth.

Dark red flames erupted around Zhou Chen’s body. This was an Ability he had gained by devouring Abyssal Creatures. In truth, it wasn’t fire, but the burning essence of Abyssal Calamity and malice. Like a supersonic fighter jet wreathed in flame, he roared and plunged headfirst into the blood-red tornado.

The powerfully rotating storm was like a vortex of blades. Every gust of wind was lethally sharp, pulling and slicing at Zhou Chen’s body from all directions, threatening to shred him to pieces.

However, the gory scene of dismemberment the Wind Witch expected never materialized. As the blood-red Abyssal Calamity Wind sliced at him, a shower of sparks erupted. Zhou Chen was like an indestructible piece of metal; no matter how terrifying the gale, it couldn’t harm him in the slightest.

The Steel scales of this body were made of Gallod Steel Number Four, a material once used in the aerospace Realm. Coupled with the fact that his constant consumption of other beings had drastically evolved his physique, a storm of this caliber was utterly useless against him.

The dark-red flames suddenly erupted, blasting the blood-red tornado to bits as fiery light surged toward the heavens. Zhou Chen shot straight toward the Wind Witch at Mach 5. In an instant, with a deafening roar, the Wind Witch was obliterated by the terrifying velocity and mass, exploding into a shower of blood!

The Wind Witch was an Abyssal Cultist, true, but at the end of the day, he was still human—a frail creature of flesh and blood. As a Non-Power Type Ascender, his physicality could rarely compare to a Corrupter’s, let alone the body of "Siegfried," which had continuously evolved and mutated.

The Steel Wings behind Zhou Chen snapped open, transforming into cutting blades that spun fiercely in all directions.

SHK! SHK! SHK!

Including the Painter, the remaining enemies had no time to react before a flash of steel bisected them at the waist or decapitated them. Blood gushed like waterfalls.

Zhou Chen didn’t pause. His main target was the "Painter." As he focused his gaze, the "Painter’s" body, which he had sliced into dozens of pieces, turned into fragments of a shattered canvas. It was another one of her Clones!

Before Zhou Chen could act, a Steel Prison erupted from the ground, trapping him within. Then, dozens of Flying Swords glowing with Holy Light materialized on all sides and came screaming toward him.

Upon closer inspection, the Steel Prison and the holy Flying Swords were all made from oil paint.

Zhou Chen immediately took out his Magic Wand and used the Great Transformation of Living People to vanish on the spot, escaping the Prison.

"Siegfried?"

A woman’s cry of alarm rang out from somewhere nearby. The voice immediately became a hateful snarl, seething with murderous intent.

"Die!"

The dozens of holy Flying Swords changed direction, streaking toward the now-visible Zhou Chen, surging with killing intent.
