Steven Cooper nervously lowered his hand holding the engagement ring, both hands clenched tightly together, his gaze deeply fixed on Nicole.

The engagement party was very successful. Nicole didn’t show any unusual reaction because of Jorge’s words. With a faint smile on her face, she stayed by Steven’s side as they stood at the hotel entrance, seeing off their friends and relatives as they left.
Arlo Seys had booked the entire hotel to hold the engagement party for his sister, and some friends from outside City C stayed overnight at the Imperial Garden Hotel.
After settling the friends and sending off the relatives, the elders of the Seys and Cooper Families also left, marking the true end of the engagement party.
