Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

On the morning of the next day, both Alexis and Elise left the village which made both the female and male villagers very unhappy.

Still, among them, there were a few ladies who were feeling happy and satisfied. Aiko was one of them. As for the reason why they were so happy, it was because they had gotten impregnated by Alexis last night.

Just like what Evan and Frank had done, after being asked by some ladies to make them pregnant, Alexis had not rejected the idea. So before leaving the village, he had made three ladies pregnant with his seeds.

After leaving the village, both Alexis and Elise had met up with rest of the party after about half an hour. While Elise and Alexis were busy having fun in the village, Weiss was busy researching the flora and fauna of this region.

The amount of joy that Elise had gotten for the wild sex last night, Weiss had gotten almost equal amount of joy from researching the animals and plants. So both of the ladies had a great time.

And now, they were finally going to enter a city of this nation. Even though Alexis had failed in his task spectacularly, it did not affect the team in a negative way. That was because Elise had done a spectacular job and had managed to find out anything and everything that the men from that village knew.

Her carrot and stick method of information gathering had worked extremely well. With the amount of information that she had gathered in just one night, she had now became more well informed about this area than most of the locals.

So obviously, Weiss was very impressed by this and praised Elise for her hard work. Hearing this, Elise puffed up her bountiful chest in pride with a smug smile on her face.

Then everyone started to travel toward the nearby city while listening to what Elise had found out. They did not travel very quickly this time as Weiss wanted to take her time listening to everything that Elise had managed to find out.

The city where Weiss needed to go was called Ryukan or the Dragin View city. This would be the place where the magical ship was going to land.

Just like the people of the other nations, the common population of this nation were also not aware of the magus being a real thing and not just a myth. But even without the knowledge about magi, they did know about the magic items.

Unlike the Brightshine kingdom, the use of magic items was not limited to just the nobles or super rich merchants. With enough savings, even a regular person could buy it.

The people of this nation called those magic items "Scared Artifact". It was mostly because the church or temple of various gods were the sellers of these items most of the time here.

The villagers from the previous village had even seen one such sacred artifact. A priest had visited this village about two years ago and had blessed their farmlands with a sacred artifact.

The fertility of those farmlands were going down continuously but with the help of the blessings, all the firmlands had suddenly became super fertile. It was almost like magic.

After listening to the description of the item used, Evan and Weiss both realised what it was. This magic item was something that Weiss had bought about three years ago and had used it to grow crops even in her terrible territory which had a hard time growing any kind of crops.

As for Evan, this was one of the famous magic items that many noble lords had bought from him when their territory was facing a famine. So obviously he was very familiar with it. They had a limited number of uses, so he had made quite a lot of money from selling these.

After telling Weiss about the perception of magi among the villagers, Elise continued to tell her about more things. The general culture of this place, what kind of food was here, how the rulers of the lands treated the people and Elise had even managed to make the village chief to tell her all about the tax structure which was supposed to be something like a secret.

Weiss was quite impressed by all this. The whole governance system of this nation was quite different and very interesting. She could feel that the knowledge from a different world was at play in the creation of this system.

Books were also more common here most probably because there were easily available magic items for printing books. This was something that Weiss considered to be a good thing and decided to visit a bookstore in the next city and buy some books there.

Elise had also gotten a good idea about how the economy of this nation worked. So she explained that to Weiss too.

Just like that, while having these super interesting discussions, Weiss and her team were about to reach the city.

Sakura was hiding in the back alley while looking around nervously. Then as she heard some footsteps coming toward her, she immediately went under a wodden box and used a magic item to hide her presence as much as she could.

Then she waited for the footsteps to go away while making sure that she was not moving at all. After a few minutes had passed and she did not hear anything, she slowly came out of her box.

And as soon as she came out, she found two burly men with spears in their hand looking at her with vulgar smiles. Immediately the beautiful young lady with black hair and pink eyes froze.

But that was only for a moment. Next, she immediately took out something from her chest and threw it toward the men. And as two men started to cough after this, the young lady took advantage of this situation and started running as fast as she could.

So what was happening here and would this young lady be able to stay away from the people chasing her ?
