Chapter 283: Ch 283: Sakura Chan
Entering a city of this nation was quite easy. There were not even any walls blocking it or any guards to check them. It looked like the situation of the previous village was actually special because of it being near a dangerous area.
And in the city, even though Weiss and her group did got a lot of glances, no one was too suspicious of her group. The main reason for this was because Weiss looked very similar to people of this nation. The black eyes and hair which was uncommon in the Brightshine kingdom was extremely common here.
So all the glances that Weiss got, it was because of her extreme beauty. Most of the people of this city had never seen a woman this beautiful. So obviously they could not help but stare at her.
Weiss did not mind it at all. With her beauty, she had always been the centre of attention. So this was nothing new for her.
So instead of worrying about these useless things, Weiss mainly focused on enjoying the city which was very different from the cities that she had visited in the past.
Even though this city had a lot of houses made of stone and bricks that she was familiar with, very suprisingly, there were also quite a few houses made of wood. The quality of the woodwork was also quite higher compared to what she had seen in the other two nations.
So Weiss and Elise decided to walk around the city a little bit while she sent the three men to find an inn for them to stay. The men immediately bowed their heads and got to work.

Then as Weiss and Elise started to check out various things, they suddenly found a lady about their age running with a desparate expression on her face.
With their powerful senses, Weiss and Elise immediately noticed that this lady was being chased by quite a few men who looked to be private soldiers. They were quite strong too, all of them were at least a mid level apprentice knight.
But Weiss did not pay them any attention. Even though those knights were not bad, that was for a regular human. From the perspective of a grand knight like her, they were as weak as bugs and she could easily crush them.
So instead of the soldiers, what attracted Elena’s attention was the running lady herself. And the reason was a very faint special aura that she was giving off.
This was something that even Elise was unable to sense. Weiss was sure that if she was not a Grand knight with the perception speciality, then even she would have missed it.
And this aura was very similar to what magic gave off. Not just the easily found magic items but also the real magic technology that she had found in the magic castle ruins.
This was a very interesting development. In this situation, there was no way Weiss was going to let go of such a valuable person. So even though this situation had nothing to do with her, Weiss made the decision to save her and take her under her protection.
And as soon as her decision was made, she took action. But before taking care of the men, she decided to appear before the lady and have a conversation with her.
To do exactly that, Weiss used her fleet footed movement technique and appeared before the lady in a blink of an eye. And seeing such a gorgeous and sexy beauty suddenly appearing before her, the lady became dumbfounded and stopped moving.
Even with her cold expression, Weiss was able to convey her intentions to the lady very clearly. And hearing that this beautiful lady was here to save her and help her out, this young lady felt so glad, happy and relieved that tears appeared in her eyes.
But then she made a request to Weiss. It turned out that all the men chasing her were working for her father and were just following his orders. So she did not want them to get hurt.
After making this request, the lady who had introduced herself as Sakura felt extremely ashamed and bowed her head for making extra trouble for her her savior. But Weiss did not mind it at all and simply accepted her request.
Then, Weiss started to princess carry Sakura. Getting carried like this, this young lady could not help but feel shy and her heart started to beat rapidly.
Then Weiss used her fleet footed steps again and left this spot. None of the soldiers were capable of following her movement, so in no time, Sakura managed of get rid of the people who were chasing after her.
While Weiss was making her move, Elise was keeping an eye on the situation from a rooftop. Now that it looked like all the problems had been resolved, she returned back to Weiss’s side.
Sakura was surprised to see a beautiful foreign lady suddenly appearing but after learning that this lady was a friend and retainer of her benifactor, she immediately felt closer to this foreign lady too.

Next, all three of them booked a private room in a restaurant and started to have a discussion there. Weiss was curious about why Sakura was trying to run away.
After hearing the question, Sakura looked very troubled. Seeing this, as Weiss started to think about if she should withdraw this question or not, suddenly Sakura spoke up again and asked in an uncertain voice -
"Umm, miss Weiss, do you think magi are real ?"
Hearing this, Weiss immediately understood why Sakura was feeling conflicted before. So without beating around the bush, she directly asked -
"So is Sakura chan truing to go the the city of Ryukan to gain an entry to the magic ship ?"
As soon her Sakura heard this, her eyes widened in surprise but her face showed a brilliant smile. She had never expected that these kind ladies would be aware of the truth regarding the world of the magus too.
So now, without holding anything back or hiding anything, Sakura started to tell Weiss and Elise about her situation.
So how did Sakura found herself in the situation of being chased by men working for her own father ?
