Evan was feeling quite excited. Ever since he had came back to this world, there were little to no opportunity for him to flex his sword arm. As a dealer of the magic item, he enjoyed an unbelievable amount of prestige and almost no one dared to use force on him.

But now, finally he was given an opportunity to show off his muscles. His goddess had given him the divine decree and had even provided him with an amazing sword. So he was feeling super excited.

Evan was a little bit worried that after such a long time of him not using a sword, he would have a hard time getting used to fighting with a sword again.

But fortunately, that was not the case. As soon as he took the sword in his hand, he felt as if all his muscles memories were coming back.

Obviously he had held swords before but all the enemies that he had to face at those times were absolute trash. But in this group that he was soon going to face, there were actually a few good opponents.

So that was the reason why he was feeling so excited. Alicia, who was standing beside him felt this excitement and a chill ran down her spine.

With her incredible senses, Alicia was able to feel that she stood no chance against him. Now she was truly glad that he was here to help her out.

She had already identified the enemy. The violent aura that she felt coming toward her base, it could only belong to her bitter rivals Grocha. He was also a high level knight and there was a time when both of their organizations had worked together.

She and Grocha used to be partners too at those times. He was a dominating man had sexual relationship with Alicia for a decent period of time. They were basically like unofficial husband and wife.

But those days were long gone. Now, both of then wanted to kill one another. On this night, as she had a very fortunate support of someone super strong, she was planning to end their feud once and for all.

So instead of feeling worried about this attack, Alicia was actually feeling excited. How could she not be with this golden opportunity.

As she was thinking this, the attackers finally appeared. It was a decently large group and even the weakest person present was a mid level apprentice knight.

But this force was not overwhelmingly strong. Her Blood Moon had a total of 7 official knights. If all of them were present, then she would not need to even ask Weiss for her help.

But four of her members knights were away for various reasons. It looked like Grocha had kept an eye on her keenly and had chosen this day to be ideal for his plans.

Unfortunately for him, he was unlucky. His planning was actually perfect and he had not made any serious mistake. Who could have thought that suddenly some extremely powerful people would show up in her inn and they would even be kind enough to help her out.

Actually Alicia and Weiss had gotten extremely close during their conversation. Especially after learning that Weiss was higher realm than her and was also specialised in perception, Alicia had immediately accepted her as the big sister.

This was a very interesting address and Weiss found this to be endearing. So she had accepted it and had even given some advice to Alicia regarding her knight training.

Normally, when two dark organizations were fighting, Weiss would not interfere with it without a good reason and could even try to destroy both of them taking this opportunity and loot their wealth and knowledge.

But with now Alicia becoming something like a sister to Alicia, there was no way Weiss could leave her be. There was also another reason why she had sent Evan to help out even though it looked like both sides were almost equally matched with the Blood Moon having a slight advantage.

Actually that was not the case. There was a magic help that the attacking man was hiding very carefully. Using this item, defeating Alicia was very much possible for the man.

And that was why Evan was there. Other than him getting back to his combat form, he was there to also protect Alicia in case of an emergency.

...

The battle started with burly looking man who eas Grocha breaking through the door and coming inside the inn. As soon as he did so, a spear tip came toward his head from his blind spot.

But the muscular man was faster than he looked and managed to dodge it. Then he used his axe to slash toward who had attacked him.

Obviously the attacker was Alicia and she bent her body very skillfully and dodge the axe with a hair’s breadth and then continued her own attack without stopping at all.

The man defended himself and tried to attack her again and again. But all of his attacks were dodged while he was having a hard time withstand the relentless spear thrusts coming his way.

So from the very beginning of the battle, it was Alicia who was in the lead. Her movements were polished and her mind was clear. She was dodging all the attacks while exploiting all opportunities to counter attack.

Just like that, Grocha suffered a serious wound in his thighs which started to slow him down. So his already disadvantageous situation became even more terrible.

So, to catch his breath, Grocha leaped back and took a look at his other partners. If anyone was free, he would need his help.

But what he saw immediately made him to freeze up. All the knights who had came to help him were dead. One had his head severed and another one had a hole where his heart was supposed to be.

This made Grocha to go mad in anger. Immediately he took a potion out of his pocket and drank it. He was so quick with this act that no one was able to stop him.

...

After the burly man drank the portion, his aura soared and reached the level of a peak official knight. Seeing this, Weiss smiled.

This was exactly the reason why she had sent Evan to help Alicia. And now she was looking forward to seeing what was going to happen next.
