Maou no Hajimekata

Episode 14: Let's Kill Heroes Unbroken-1

"Your Majesty, I have something to keep in your ear."

A skinny man knelt down and complained so. Will I be over 60 years old? Nervous facade on bright white hair, with one-eyed glasses, he is the king's trusted Chancellor, Tuscan.

"Tell me."

Opposite is a grey-haired red-haired man dressed in a luxurious red gown. Height and musculoskeletal body as long as 6 ½ feet (about 2 meters) in length. The rich beard stretches like a flame, and colours his chest as though it were a lion's tenderness. The real age is mid 50 cars, but he is a big man with a vigorous force that can even be seen in the first half of 40 cars.

He is the Wolfdir Severan Le Ella Grandiera I. King of the great Grandiera. That is the man.

"'Cause first, I'm talking about Oulu, the Demon King, with the Kingdom of Figlia in his hand."

"I thought you said you didn't have to worry about such a small country."

Tori, and Wolfe moved the chess pawn. There is no opponent in the Bureau. Chess Composition… It's called, Stuffed Chess.

"No… there was a report that he saw Eunice in his subordination."

"... Hmm?

Wolf moves the chess pawn without stopping his hand.

"That grandma and daughter, I thought she jumped out on her own. Did you stay there?"

"Let's do it."

Wolfe stopped her hand and thought a little. Then place the white pawn in front of the diagonal of the black king.

"Bring him back."

There is no escape in the Black King.

"You can kill me if you want to resist."

Wolfe crushed and shattered King, who had no choice but to take the pawn, with a white night.

"There are said to be twelve countries on this continent of Raffanis, large and small"

Oulu explains, drawing a brief map with white ink. Before that, the usual faces like Lil, Eunice, Spina and Ellen were on the table and listened to explanations.

The difference is that Marie is already stuck at her desk, unwilling to listen from the start, and Mio is joining her last seat and getting smaller.

"Kingdom of Figlia...... well, more often these days they call it the Land of Demons or the Kingdom of Demons, but this country is located around here"

Oulu drew an ellipse somewhat smaller around the center, slightly west, of the continent.

"To the south is Grandiera, the great power. It is a mighty nation with a cavalry led by Wolfe the Hero. If you say it with military power, it would be the best on the continent. It wasn't originally that big of a country, but it swallowed the countries around it one generation after another and quickly grew bigger"

Oulu surrounds the lower half of the continent. Its size is nearly ten times that of Figlia.

"To the north is Raffanis, a religious state. You can call it the Allied Lordship of this continent, a traditional country that has been around for over a thousand years, and the head of the day is the Virgin Mary. We will not fight against eternal neutrality from ourselves, but once we are set up, there will be no forgiveness. That's how many countries are paying back. Even Grandiera can't get her hands on it."

Oulu surrounds the upper half of the continent. Then most of the continent was filled.

"Are other obscure countries around Ravana, which has the Dragon Knights of the East, or Alfheim, the land of the White Arts? The other countries aren't that big, and they don't have neighbors, so don't worry about them now."

A few more ellipses were added to the gap, and Oulu placed white ink.

"First of all, it's Raffanis who should never turn to his enemies. This place will never invade unless we attack from here, but if we refuse to be hostile, it will be destroyed once and for all. There's nothing left."

"But military power is better than Grandiera, isn't it?

To Eunice's words, Oul nods.

"" Military power. "But the Virgin of Raffanis does not call herself. It is literally God's command, the servants of the angels. Turning Raffanis against the enemy also means turning heaven against the enemy."

"But God died in the war of the Divine Ages, didn't he?

"Oh. But those damn abominable angels are in heaven just because their best balls are dead. We're not extinct."

Logan answered Lil's question in a harsh way.

"Speaking of which, Logan is an experience in the Divine Demon War..."

"Oh. I didn't make a big deal out of it, because it was on the bottom line."

That's why demons with as much power as Logan are called 'inferior'. Thousands of years ago, an era called the Divine Age. The legendary Demon King, led by countless demons, fought and rivaled God living in heaven for the Divine Demon War. In that war, it was Logan's level that would be the least amount of power.

But you know how much it takes to turn heaven against your enemies.

"Simply, turning all the demons into enemies is awesome. The others are almost extinguished, so it won't be as good as a return to the Divine Devil's War, but they're not the ones who can beat each other with their current power."

"Ah, that's impossible."

Eunice admits it lightly. It's a good level to say that her battle power is out of standard, but still, it's suspicious if two Logan-level enemies can win. If it's more than three, you're in good hands.

"So the immediate threat is Grandiera. This is also a country that has annexed several countries and is actively waging war. Even if you don't strike out of here, there's a good chance they'll set you up from the other side."

"Father, I love war..."

Puffy and back-headed, Eunice shrugs.

"I left home because I didn't like it. How plain to be made an instrument of war. I can't stand killing people for ambition, treating them badly, colonizing them."

Clearly, Eunice said and stared at Oulu.

"But Oulu isn't, is he? Oul takes good care of the people of that country even when he gets another. I don't treat you badly or enslave you. I'm fulfilling my responsibilities as king."

"Oh. Of course."

It snorts naturally, but Oulu does not do so in a humanitarian sense. I just don't believe in humans.

The only way to broaden the country while picking the buds of rebellion is to take good care of them like Oulu, or destroy them thoroughly like Wolfe to increase their own people.

Owl chose to lower the risk of insurrection itself because he doesn't believe in humans. There will be fewer insurgencies than more united peoples with more fragmented peoples.

"So if I can stop your father under Oulu, I'll fight your father."

"Even if I were to put my flesh parents in that hand?

When Oul asked, Eunice gave him a slightly troubled look.

"... I'm just trying to say that I'm ready for that... sorry, maybe I can't"

"Right. Well, I don't know if I can..."

No, I'm not.

Obstructing Oul's words, Eunice shook her neck to the side and said:

"Simply, I can't defeat your father. Because your father is much stronger than me."
