Marquis' Express Butler

It's been two days.

I carefully folded the letter into my arms and said to the messenger.

“I think you can tell the President that the guest you're looking for is arriving today. ”

“Good news. Thanks for confirming while you're busy. ”

“Have a safe trip. ”

This should be enough to grieve the duc.

I was going to visit you today anyway, but now that I've sent a messenger like this, the duc showed me a hand.

The Duke has a plan to profit from a great deal of goods. There are merchants under the bridge, there are knights, and there are various interest groups, so they must have put together a way to sell the pretenders.

I expect some sort of pressure to come.

Even if Duke Bahamut and the Marquis of Adeline get along, business is always just business.

I returned to the Infinity Chamber. After the bath, Young-ae was resting on a chair in peace. Seeing that child, my heart is pounding again in a different sense.

I definitely drew the line.

The duc is momentarily lost in thought. You hear loud noises around you, but I don't listen. The chatter is nonnutritious anyway.

The only thing that matters is the Duke in front of me. I wonder if it captivates him or not.

“If you don't mind me asking, why have you summoned me here?" ”

“How dare you ask such a question in front of the duc? ”

“So if you don't mind me asking, did you put up a clue? ”

I was surprised that he posed a problem when I didn't get scared at all, but instead laughed. He looks to the duc for help, but the duc shakes his head.

“You're right. That's enough to ask. Then let's talk about it. I have a proposition for you. ”

“Let's call it a day.”

“It's not an order, it's an offer. I don't want you to croak... What do you think? Do you have any intention of handing over the plans and patents for this fountain pen? ”

I smiled and replied.

“Nothing.”
