Magneto gave Orion Cross his final ultimatum. Perhaps there really was some kind of bond entangling them, because he had actually taken notice of Pietro and Wanda, who were, in a sense, "set" to be his children.

Magneto gave Orion Cross a long, deep look, then slowly spread his arms, and the entire ground began to tremble.

Orion Cross smiled faintly and slammed his golden staff into the ground.

"I repeat, put down your weapons and surrender immediately, or we will take action!"
Not far away, an officer standing on an armored vehicle shouted at Magneto and Orion Cross through a loudspeaker.
To be fair, the speed of the military response this time was unexpectedly fast.
But it was also within reason, because inside that building in the distance were high-ranking officials from various countries who had come to discuss the mutant legislation. If anything happened to them, France would never be able to bear the international backlash.
