"Clear the dungeon?" The entirely confused face on the guard squad captain made it clear that this order did not seem to be at all what was expected. It even appeared that there were no researchers with Su to justify needing to clear the dungeon she had come to right now.

"I believe that there is no reason to clear the dungeon. This was recently approved for exploration and harvesting for the next month while it will remain open." The guard repeated what he had been told and what he had instructed his subordinates to explain to those that came here.

"I understand the rules and regulations in place. The adventurers and others who received permission to send their forces within or explore to harvest materials will be notified and refunded their fees. I promise you that I have not come here to reprimand anyone or for any dangerous risk." Su knew that the guard captain was worried about running people away.

Some of the merchants that had enough funds had hired mercenaries and adventurers to gather materials from this dungeon for them. Since it was newer and they could gather a lot more it was very valuable to them.

This dungeon had appeared recently and quickly became an appraised dungeon with a lot of easily accessible information.

"I reviewed the information. This is the placid beach dungeon. An expanse of calm beach exists within that has a variety of seaweeds, shells, and smaller monsters that live in tide pools and the sands of the beach. It has three forms that it shifts through between one month breaks to shift its manas and gather more in each cycle."

"The placid beach will wait a month and shift to the incoming storm, then to the brutal storming tsunami. It will do so over month after month as long as it can gather the right manas. That is one of the best appraisals we have of any dungeon new or old without experts and several weeks of research. That is why I am here."

She saw the confusion on the guard captain’s face. He had already sent off two of his right hand subordinates to begin denying entry on his orders. However, he also stayed with Su since he knew that he would need a proper report of why Su was taking action here.

He did not doubt her, he just needed to do all of his due diligence first. If he did not then he could kiss his standing as a head guard captain here goodbye. This was a job he could work for the rest of his life and never need another. His family depended on it!

"Walker is learning how to alter a dungeon’s rules and flow, this dungeon has a very solid foundation and he could ensure that the mana flow is slowed or the materials are grown with better quality if he is to alter anything. I wish to clear this dungeon as the first for him to work on since it can also be the ideal place to train water and wind resistance. If he is able to add lightning in to the mix it will be even better."

The guard captain and a few nearby guards were shocked that they would be guarding a place that may become a core training ground for those that may wish to travel in to more dangerous places.

That mean a few things to them.

Connections to more powerful adventurers and elite guards.

The ability to bring in a higher rate of pay for guarding and securing the entrance as time went on.

Plus, they had the chance to work with the researchers who would be recording all the information that came out of the dungeon.

This was the key point since the researchers often paid very well for the little bits of help here and there. Whether it was taking paperwork to the Genesis building or simply helping to move materials now and then. It was like getting a tip as a server in a tavern. It was a nice addition to anyone’s income without the risk of their position.

"Onyx, your dungeon in your territory could also be changed a bit, but I know Walker will not risk that without being entirely sure of himself and his skills." Out of her shadow, Onyx slithered in his smallest form with a slight downcast look.

"I believed I had hidden myself better than this. Su, you are very good at fleeing threats and being prepared to defend yourself from anything." Onyx had been helping a few of the younger serpents move through the shadows and even hide their presence. Yet, he was still unable to hide from Su. Then again, not many people could hide around her, let alone within her shadows since she had also been training just as hard.

"You did very well hiding. I knew you were there because I can sense your mana better than most people’s. Dare I say, your mana became even more fluid since we left and came back? Is that because you have been training a lot more with Aurora and also in the middle of those naturally formed runes in your territory?"

Slithering around and taking a place on her shoulders, Onyx spoke up explaining a bit. "I have been training but needed to help make a proper nest near those runes. Some of the first eggs will be placed there this year. Some that were found but mostly those that will be hatched as the first generation in our home. Many of the younger ones pushed themselves to grow to do this for our species. For our race."

This wasn’t something that Su wanted to expand on. She knew what he meant telling her this.

The serpents that Onyx spoke of pushing themselves had given up their potential to reach adulthood earlier.

This wasn’t done for power or strength over others. It was done to give birth to another generation that would properly hatch and grow within Genesis.

Their species of serpents had been dormant and hatched after many years. Many of them had been healed and grown safely. But those that did grow also found that they were not the ideal form that they could take, even when they were affected by Onyx being a patriarch of a brand new race of serpents.

Therefore, they gave up their lives and potential to push themselves to adulthood and start a proper generation who could make the most of what their race would be capable of.

It was sad and joyful all at the same time. No one could judge them for it either. It was their choice to do such things and Onyx knew that he was also blessed that they had such determination to live and die for their people as a whole.

"Then I am glad you are making progress and remaining here while we traveled was worthwhile. Let me tell you more about what we found out..."

While Su and Onyx began working together on the dungeons and also catching up, Remey was throwing another punch at Ignus.

"You are feeding that dungeon so much mana and helping that guardian take a better form for their dragonkin form. But you didn’t come and greet me?" She was doing what she would do no matter what and fighting with him once she saw him. Ignus didn’t hold back either. He kept his own dragonkin form and lashed out with clawed hands to attack too.

The pair seemed more like a bickering couple. Well, they were to be honest.

"I was gone and gathered a whole lot of things while out and about and came back to see that nothing much had happened here? Hm? What, did you take a nap?"

"Nothing done? I knew you were not as intelligent as everyone else because you fight all the time and lock yourself away, but you do not see that I have brought seventeen more dragons here from the distant sides of the continent!?"

The two made their scene over and over as they threw punches in the open. But no one nearby was harmed. If anything, it was an entertaining show of controlled muscle and flames. It was also a nice way for some of the younger fire dragon hatchlings to see how a dragon could fight without causing huge damage all around them.

"Do you have any ideas for potions? Or will you actually use your strength now?" Ignus growled out and Remey stopped with a wide smile.

"I need to make potions with mixed manas. Walker is going to make waves sooner than later with dungeons and I have a feeling we will need to resist all the unique mixed manas here and there. You need to train with it too. Can’t have you burnt by sun mana when the eyes of the sun race come to visit in a couple of months.
