"Count me surprised then." Gil shrugged and walked up to Walker who was still seemingly surging with a little bit of the purple lightning. Not that it harmed Gil at all, he actually found that his elemental mana resistances had taken a decent leap since his foolish attempt to pull on literal chaotic manas.

"Surprised by what? I have it stored away in multiple storages and it made another elemental storage that I will have to learn to break down and dissipate to others." Walker was clearly a little tired but his exasperated response was all said in teasing for Gil. Clearly, he was in pretty good spirits knowing what he had accomplished.

"I should be able to do a lot more with all of this too. There will be uses for the purple light ning that can adjust itself to what we need or can try to do within Genesis. We don’t have to worry about its battle abilities since I am sure we will find counters sooner than we expect."

This was his idea of what would happen. Then again, he knew that most people who saw this form of mixed mana as some would try harder and harder to counter it than what everyone else was already trying to do with manas in a protective form.

There were plenty of guards, guardians, and other defensive class users who worked to better protect themselves and others. This wasn’t even taking in to account the rune formations and magic skills that came together as a protective ability.

Just taking that as a grain of salt in the sand dunes of a desert was enough to understand that this was a very temporary time for an advancement. There would be someone else who could counter everything easily sooner than later.

"Midnight, you did well too." Su was already patting Midnight on the head since Midnight had the habit of raising her chin and showing her smile wider when she was being praised. Then again, that was a dragon’s pride in action too.

"I will use the lightning too." Her claim was not something that they all did not believe. They knew very well that she would be doing her best to use whatever she could when she learned it. Specifically the lightning that she might be able to breathe in a form of dragon breath.

Knowing that Midnight wanted to use lightning magic skills also made everyone understand that she had also helped Walker because she could better understand the mixing of manas to make that specific lightning.

Walker had explained to everyone multiple times that mixing manas was a unique and intricate process that led to different results based on the amounts of each mana.

The lightning color was part of the evidence of this since there were lightnings with vastly different forms, functions, and colors due to the amount of manas that made them that way. This caused them to act differently.

The same for the colors of flames and the fact that dragon breath might always be considered a flame but realistically was just a way of saying what dragons used in terms of their violent mana and the innate affinity they had.

Current could use his water dragon breath to pierce and drown enemies, but that was still causing a burning effect due to the intensity of water mana degrading and breaking apart the target. Therefore, yes it was dragon flames or breath, but not in the same ways as others may consider it.

But for fire itself, adding manas might change the fire color to a deeper duller color that could take on the freezing qualities of concentrated water mana. Making it a freezing flame. Something unique because of the characteristics of the manas and those that created it.

All in all, magic was just magical and everyone who studied it learned to adapt to the intricacies that needed to be properly studied to match what truly happened in certain cases.

"You all fought off a few monsters. They seem like scavengers or prey rather than predators." The comment came as Walker examined the black knife fish and the smaller size they possessed. He also understood that they were smaller compared to the other monsters they encountered in this massive thinned mana space where elemental planes remained sealed and waiting.

"Oh there are bigger ones but I keep firing arrows here and there and they are terrified. Apparently the different manas appearing out of nowhere is terrifying. And mana moved much faster for me even though my hand is still feeling strange. But I think that’s because I am doing something without realizing it, you know?"

Looking at Gil pulling an arrow out of the air and it being made of dark mana this time, Walker also sensed that more was being pulled at. Like the dark mana was being drawn by a slightly greater mana manipulation skill and a tiny bit of space mana.

This proved Gil’s thoughts but also made it clear that it could be related to the path Gil was on moving toward a higher class he should have taken longer to get to if he had not been foolhardy and tried experimenting by pulling at chaotic mana.

Therefore, they all watched as the arrow moved in to the vast distance ahead causing a few random lights to blink out and move directions.

"That thing out there is watching us but not leaving. I can’t really see it but it must be huge."

This monster follows the changes in mana and consumes breaking elemental planes. It gathers and protects them within its body causing them to slowly develop and feed it until eventually being passed through its body.

While exceedingly dangerous due to its size and the fact that its physical body radiates violent mana, it is also considered a gentle giant due to the fact that it does not kill to survive. The mana radiating from its body are the unprotected elemental planes within its body bleeding out violent mana.

In the process of consuming such elemental alpines, it leaves behind more stable elemental planes which makes many believe it was specifically bred or created for this purpose. Even the origin race believe that one of their primordial originators helped to create it proving that it is a well respected species of monster.

When they decide to spawn, they will move to mana dead areas where it would be nearly impossible to absorb or control mana. They will leave a single egg there to hatch then find its own source of food. This is why they are few and far between and live such long lives...’

"It is a peaceful monster. I would assume it was attracted by the violent state of the purple lightning mana and is waiting to see if it needs to swallow that mana and protect it." There was a tenderness in Su’s voice as she grasped all of this.

"Exactly. So we can just leave it be. It won’t hurt anything as long as we don’t spend too much time around it." Walker felt a little sad that such a monster was innately dangerous to be around, but it seemed to serve a major purpose out here in the chaos and could resist said chaos. It was actually something that deserved respect just based on that nature alone.

He also let his mind focus on the fact that if anyone accidentally developed their mana improperly, they might cause their own mana to be dangerous to others just as this monster was naturally.

It was something that had surely happened, but rare enough that he hadn’t encountered it. He might need to look in to it though.

"So, are we going to look for ways to help improve dungeons or look for something making one now?" Remey felt like someone had to say it out loud. They hadn’t actually made much progress on their goal. Here they were just finding interesting things and fighting an odd monster or two. They might have encountered some unique situations, but they should focus.

"Yes!" Midnight leaped toward the nearest light in the distance which clearly was a flickering light elemental plane. Enough to go on for a direction and nothing else to worry about for the time being since they knew that the monster in the distance was not trying to eat them or even fight at all.

"Then off we go." Su hooked Remey’s arm and pulled her along while Gil and Walker walked beside them. They were all ready to make some progress and the potency of the light mana also proved that there was more to what they might find there.

If it was such a strong mana from such a distance then the chance of something there guarding it or carrying for it was high. And if that was the case, they might be able to speak with them and get some sort of idea on how to achieve their goal. maybe...
