The group was not being foolish in this exploration. While they moved toward a denser light mana that they knew had to have something else around it, potentially a threat, they remained prepared.

They didn’t rush idly toward danger and assume nothing could go wrong. They were in a rough formation with their senses sharp for anything out of the ordinary.

Not that ordinary was necessarily a thing here.

There were so many unseen and unusual things out here in the chaos and unknown that Walker would have to say the word ordinary was just a fantasy for those trying to understand what they couldn’t. Then again, they were the very same so who was to say.

"It feels like we are moving toward the sun itself." Walker could swear that the fire resistance and light mana resistance skills they had were being put to the test.

"So not just a light elemental plane. And a dang strong one at that." Remey cracked her knuckles waiting to see what monsters might be gathering around here. She had a big feeling that they were approaching something a little more dramatic than just what they could call an elemental plane.

Su raised her twin shields made with red iron and white platinum. They were tough but they were primarily focused on magical resistance of fire and light mana. They had been something the wandering blacksmith made for her. They were not very useful unless in specific situations but that was the point.

She enjoyed having various armors and shields to equip with her unique spatial skill and it was even better when the wandering blacksmith made new armors and shields with materials he experimented with. It just kept her thinking of how she could change and adapt her equipment to ensure everyone was safe.

"Su, keep those shields up, we have something approaching us." Walker’s senses were put on high alert as he realized that the mana ahead of them was trailing behind multiple figures. He had no idea if it was monsters approaching or intelligent beings.

When they saw the flaming balls of light with wisps that could be called tentacles of mana flames, they all felt like they were looking at something dangerous rather than something welcoming.

Yet, as the mana reached out slowly, Walker realized that it was similar to the spirit race who used mana to communicate primarily and he directed his own mana out.

The moment that it contacted they all began to hear the language and the auto attic translation that existence granted on to the intelligent races.

"Why do you approach our home? You are not of our home."

It was a simple question that should have a simple answer, however, it was followed up after the several beings appeared to recognize the confusion and surprise within the faces and actions of Gil and Remey after being spoken to. Let alone the excitement and surprise from Midnight who struggled to remain still.

"You are exploring? Not of this place or the next?"

Seeing that they understood a little from their assumptions, Walker was a little more comfortable to speak out. "We are from a deeper elemental plane where they mix and form a thing called a world. I do not know of what you may know so I apologize if I speak a bit plainly." The flaming tentacles wriggled before the light focused in to a point.

The group all realized that these were their eyes. Pin pricks of light surrounded by light based flames and the tentacles were constructed mana allowing them to act as hands and whatever else was necessary. These beings were strong enough to use mana as limbs but they did in fact have a physical aspect within them, the small eye that was their core of what they were despite being significantly larger overall.

"If I may, can I use an appraisal skill on you to learn of your race and such? You may use one on us as well, although we are multiple races now after our growth." This caused a burst of mana between each of the beings and then a sudden agreement in a single movement of their small light eyes.

’Eyes of sun

This is a race that went against all odds and carved a safe haven within the chaotic manas. They had the assistance of a guardian called a sun eater that wished to foster their elemental plane as food. Due to that protection, the eyes of sun race developed their bodies and abilities to become part of and use the light and fire mana their home was made of.

In doing so, several of their race transcended what the average could be called within existence and were able to rival the sun eater defeating it and taking the protection in to their own hands. Since then their race has been greatly prided by others who live within the chaotic edges of what could be called the elemental planes.

They are known by many of the intelligent and powerful beings and left alone as they have earned the right to be free out of respect by many. They are constantly fighting monsters that wish to consume their home and them, however, they have yet to be defeated or stopped from deterring their opponents.

Some call them a battle race since their forms are best used in battle using the unique sun mana made from the perfect mixing of light mana and fire mana. However, they do not truly match the mana of a sun that provides warmth and life.

They are extremely weak to water and detest nearing such elemental planes. Their home drifts through the chaos causing them to be very adaptable to opposing manas other than water mana.

They are an orderly race that follows rules of survival since it has always allowed them to survive. They are not a race that allows their laws to be broken and they have multiple agreements to be left alone by other nomadic races due to their beliefs....’

"You are of the origin. A powerful race. They did not bother with us. They last told us that we have no value to them."

There was a little disdain in the way that Walker was spoken to, but it made sense. A comment like that would be seen as disrespectful.

"I believe that they would say that because they would not seal your home and use it for development. You went beyond the normal elemental planes and even defeated a monster protecting what it thought to be food. Your history seems very rich. I understand that you and your people have done amazing things to survive beyond what any other we have met can do."

It appeared that the eyes of the sun race members present were absolutely shocked to hear this. They had not expected after appraising Walker that they would be complemented!

"Can you show us your home!?" Midnight wasn’t able to keep herself back now that she saw they were not a violent race unless their people were at risk. To her, she was already prepared to tell them they could join Genesis.

It wasn’t a far off idea either. This was specifically what the group did. They met new races and understood them as best as they could. Then they unified them in peace to protect one another.

"Midnight, we should speak with them more first. They are far from our home and they may not wish to travel there because it could take a very long time. Their home also moves around and traveling with us could mean they lose the way back home. We should see what they desire first." Seeing Walker speak first the eyes of the sun seemed again to be shocked.

"We are from a place we brought out of a bit of disagreement and war while repairing the bridges to the elemental planes and to here. Because of that we have an alliance called the Genesis Alliance where we have made new allies to learn from and share with. We have titles of hero and other titles that speak to that. But we can fight and we are not safe at all." Su nodded her head since she knew why Walker was saying that they were not safe.

No one who claimed to be safe was truly safe. Being honest here with a race that valued survival and order was important.

"We are not of the strength to allow you to view our home. We are interested in you. In your home that does not drift." They didn’t hold back either. They were focused on the fact that they may learn something that was valuable to their survival.

A place that did not drift toward dangers like water mana or monsters? What a miraculous sounding thing. How wondrous.
