Master of the brave.

Boy looking for knight

The Lemursil Empire, a great power in the western part of the Alfana continent.

In the area facing the boulevard of its imperial capital, Simlug, there is a small inn, the Migratory Bird Inn Pavilion, which mainly hosts rough people such as pedestrians and adventurers.

Inn like anywhere, with a tavern on the ground floor.

The boy there turning five, Wynn Byrd, was letting his eyes shine out of the window facing the boulevard.

"Wow, that's cool."

Shining armor in silver. Long sword of steel at the waist. And a steel shield on his back as well.

The chest is engraved with the emblem of a two-headed lion, the crest of the Imperial Knights.

Not yet known to young Wynn, the knights had just returned from crusading a swarm of demons overflowing from the woods near the border.

Many citizens lined up on both sides of the boulevard in an attempt to see their bravery as they returned to the Empire City from the Arc de Triomphe.

Of course, before The Migratory Bird Inn Pavilion was no exception, and there were many people lined up outside the window, and Winn could only see the knights from the gap between the people -

"Wynn! I'm not back!

It was Hannah, the general of this inn, who yelled.

Turning around, I'm stopping my hand at bookkeeping and staring at Winn.

"Oh, sorry"

When only the sturdy ones that were climbing got off the table in the handle, they went back to polishing dishes such as the forks and spoons they were spreading.

Carefully brush them with a cloth that is used and cloudy.

"When that's over, now it's water pumping! I'm busy today, I'm not back. About this waste of rice!

Winn doesn't have any parents.

My parents, who were in business, were attacked by bandits and lost their lives on the journey to leave Winn with their best friend, the master of this inn.

Not uncommon in this day and age.

I almost became an orphan, but fortunately I couldn't even throw out my best friend's child, who was only five years old, that my parents were paying me a good amount of money before they left, and Winn had me working.

Nevertheless, it has not been spoiled.

Hannah, the wife of the pavilion owner of the inn, had changed her palms since she was a guest and used Winn.

From Hannah, the money-keeper, it's just a waste of rice that costs a lot of money, such as food, such as a five-year-old who's not even in the locomotive workforce yet.

Still, they just didn't throw me out, but maybe it's still better.

The number of orphaned and dying children is high. Also, some children are sold to slave traders.

Nevertheless, the situation now may be equal to slavery by the side, but at the very least, the pawn owner of this inn was paying Winn. Only to the extent of a sparrow's tears......

"Hey, Aunt Hannah"

While polishing the spoon, Winn called out to the fearful Hannah.

"What can I do to help you?

"Am I going to be a knight?

Winn could not forget the bravery of the knight from between the crowds, frightened by Hannah, but not cut off his interest in the knight.

"If you're going to be a knight, why don't you just enroll in this imperial school and learn magic in knowledge, upbringing, and martial arts?

"How can I get into this?

"All you have to do is study and pay for your admission."

"Hmmm... crap"

When I stopped my hands on the books and looked, Winn was gleaming.

Usually, Winn, a heartless child, who just works silently as he is told, has a corresponding smile for the year.

But it didn't matter to Hannah.

"Look, I'm not stopping you. There's still water pumping."

"Ah, uh,"

"Plus, enrollment is expensive. I'm putting you in our house, but it's just money to let you go to school, because you don't have a penny!

Finishing polishing the spoon, Winn takes the bucket and puts it out to the joint well.

Water pumping is a heavy labor for a five-year-old.

To fill the water bottle behind the inn, you have to go back and forth.

"You didn't have time because you were skipping. If we don't finish pumping by evening's opening, we're out of rice!

Wynn left the back door of the inn in silence.

- In addition to guests, the "Migratory Bird Inn" pavilion serves alcohol and meals, so the tavern on the ground floor will be full in the evening.

Wynn was still thinking about the knight as he washed the dishes in the kitchen washroom.

(Damn, I wonder how much I can do for you...)

Gachan!

"Ah..."

My hands slipped and I broke the plate - this is what happens if my five-year-old thinks about something else while washing the plate.

"What are you doing! I'll deduct that plate from your salary!

Crouch down and collect fragments as you reduce your body in a vicious manner to Hannah's fury.

"What's up, Wynn? Were you hurt?

Randell, the pavilion owner of this inn, had noticed Winn getting confused just now.

This boy, the oblivion of his best friend, seemed to me to be a brilliant child who, given his age, would not even speak selfishly.

Hannah seems unfathomable and unattractive, but from Randell's point of view, a child who's only about three months old after losing his parents is still doing a hard work day despite the sweet platter and the platter he wants to play with.

The truth was that it was painful to make my best friend's oblivion work, but even though the 'migratory bird inn' is thriving, it is not by any means an affordable business situation.

Hannah was also dissatisfied with Randell's decision to keep the child on her own, and she decided to let Wynn do the job.

So Randell has always been concerned about how Winn is doing and noticed that Winn, who is concentrating and working as a child, is getting confused sometime today.

"Is something wrong?

"Yeah, I saw you guys. So, when I asked Aunt Hannah, she told me that there was one thing I wanted to do to be you... and I wanted to be you."

"Knight..."

If you're a boy, knights have a time to admire.

Randell didn't leak it to anyone else, either, and there was that time of year.

"I wonder how much like one...?

"Um... Was it four gold coins?

It was somehow understandable that the young Wynn still could not calculate the number or anything, but still it was a lot of money.

(Winn's salary for the month now is one in silver coins. Gold coins will be converted into a single sheet of silver coins in approximately 100 pieces)

"Well, I used to admire knights, too."

"Uncle Randall, too?

"Oh, that's cool stuff. Take the sword. I've done the knight's bidding."

Win smiles knowing Randell also admired the knight.

Randell accidentally laughs at that look he hasn't seen much of since he lost his parents.

"Here! I'm skipping again. I'm gonna skip dinner!

Hannah screams as she peeks into the kitchen.

"You too! I'm accumulating extra orders! Don't keep your customers waiting!!

"Ooh."

The two went back to work looking like a bad ass.

Behind the inn, a small storage shed.

A bedding built after renovation there, which was not much used, is Wynn's new residence from three months ago.

By nightfall and the day changes, after cleaning up and cleaning the store, Winn's long day is finally over.

A five-year-old being alone in a cabin closed to darkness is a reminder of fear, but Winn, who is tired of working hard every day, always falls asleep as soon as he dives into a crude blanket and cloth.

But today I was either still out of the excitement of seeing a knight at noon or still not sleeping.

(It's like today, isn't it? Uncle Randall said I should get my body together)

I didn't know the hard words, but I thought I should work out my body, Wynn.

(I'll be the one. Let's start with the body)

The adventurers also stayed in this inn.

Sometimes I see him running, muscle-treating early in the morning, waving his sword and working out.

(Me too. Let's hang in there later...)

Even if you are excited, physical fatigue cannot be deluded.

Winn falls asleep to the visiting sleeper.

From that day on, Wynn woke up early in the morning in the darkness, where even the chickens he keeps at the inn still don't tell the time, running around the neighborhood every day.

I decided to think that the water draw was also muscular, and when the bucket was empty and the running bucket was bigger than ever before, I went back and forth.

Randell and Hannah, who had been awake while doing so, were surprised to see that the water bottle was already full, but were not particularly inconvenient, and were happy to let Winn do yet another job.

It also teaches how to use knives and knives, such as peeling potatoes and carrots.

more workload, but the amount of benefits remains unchanged.

Still, Winn has nothing to complain about, but finds room to work out in his job and do it.

And the moon flows.

- I'm eight years old.

Daily work increased even more.

But the salary remains the same.

But Winn's athletic abilities were clearly starting to beat those of kids his age.

He hadn't noticed because he didn't have a comparable subject...

Between Randell and Hannah, there are two boys who turn eleven and nine, but unlike Winn, they are spoiled and raised by Hannah, and they don't get time to play at their basic job - or if they have time, they work out - and they don't get to see Winn very often either.

When I wake up early this morning, I'll finish the run in and then pump the water. Unlike when I was five, I run with two water buckets.

This alone was already beyond the common sense of a normal eight-year-old.

The time before Randell and Hannah wake up is waving a wooden sword, as the water draw ends twice as fast as it has ever been.

This wooden sword was given to me by an adventurer who stayed for about a month when I was seven.

Waking up to train, he was surprised to see a child still running around in thin darkness, but when he heard Winn's dream that he was aiming for a knight, he not only gave me this wooden sword, but also taught me how to hold and shake it.

It was a shame I didn't even wish to be able to teach him the sword during the month until I traveled again.

The sun rose and when I finished cleaning and planting in the morning, I recently had more days to spare.

It is a by-product of the increased efficiency of work and the fact that Wynn's underlying health is above his age.

Even that day, Wynn was even waving a wooden sword in his free time.

Second, I felt my gaze and looked back.

A little girl was watching Winn, trying to hide in the shadow of the building next to the inn.

Unlike a blushing outfit winner, a girl wearing cute clothes made of white superior cloth.

I wonder what those eyes are doing to a boy a little older than himself? Is it funny? Such was the light of curiosity.

When I stopped waving the wooden sword and looked back at the girl, I walked over from behind.

"What are you doing?

"I'm burning up."

"That's funny?

"I don't know if it's funny, but it feels good"

"Can I do Letty, too?

I guess that's the name Letty.

When she picks up the bar-cut that was falling nearby, she swings out side by side of Winn.

Nothing gets in the way, and Winn waves a wooden sword because he thinks it's okay.

From that day on, Letty lined up next to Winn to shake the stick.

When Winn asked for the time to wake up, he also began to come with that time.

Letty's outfit is always different.

But I guess Winn is a wealthy house child because all of that is about to have a superior cloth in the child's eyes as well.

The knee kid's place is always dirty when he comes, so he's probably getting out.

Wouldn't my family be worried?

I thought so, but working out isn't fun. Winn had a purpose, and I didn't hate the comfortable fatigue after workouts so I could go on every day, but if I were a normal kid, I'd get bored right away.

Now the two boys in this inn were also tired of trying to take the wooden sword away from Winn and train it but not hold it for three days, throwing out the wooden sword and going out to play, imitating the behavior of a child younger than himself who was working downstairs.

This girl, who named herself Letty, must stop coming one of these days and be one more workout.

Hanging two water buckets full of water, he looks back at Letty, who likewise brings one water bucket and follows him according.

"Hey there... funny..."

"If it's heavy, you can leave it, okay? I'll pick it up later."

"Good luck......"

Letty walking with her white face in bright red.

For him, who was two years younger than Winn, but had little experience playing with kids his own age, Letty and I had fun - but one day, I'm sure Letty won't get tired of it either.

Thinking about it, I learned a little loneliness.

Surprisingly, Letty kept going to Winn's for six months since then.

Soon I was also going to bring the dimensional wooden sword that was on my body.

Letty also shows her face when Winn wakes up and says it's a run.

When the two of us finished the prep movement, we ran around the city.

When I was five years old, I was only running around the inn, but now at eight, I also run endlessly around the city because of the increased speed of running.

Since Letty started joining it, she had just run around the inn again to match her speed, but in just a few months she was able to follow Winn.

To be honest, it's not normal.

Wynn's strength and walking strength are already outpacing the average adult male by momentum, as opposed to the same age.

We are only a few months away from catching up with that win.

Letty was known as a genius.

But Winn didn't realize that.

Anyway, there are no comparable subjects.

Even though they were both younger, I thought Letty was awesome enough to follow me anymore, but I thought that was normal.

When we're done running and finishing the water draw, we both take out the wooden sword and meet.

It's an imitation of the adventurers' appearance at the game.

Winn was mostly the recipient at first, but now the offense and defense were switched between each other.

Gagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagaga

No longer, that sword speed had outstripped the realm of children.

"Not at all morning or noisy..."

Hannah looking out as she wakes up complaining about the bump.

When the girl started coming, I thought to yell at her at first wondering if she was skipping and playing.

But I found out that the job was well done and that the girl's identity was very good again.

Definitely thought of as some noble princess or the daughter of a rich merchant.

If so, you can't yell at the detour.

Every day, it was an escalating sword meeting, but Hannah has no idea about the sword.

The adventurers staying at the inn had noticed two kids meeting at unusual speeds, but both Randell and Hannah had left them alone because their self-esteem was in the way of that sword speed, which might outweigh them, so that they wouldn't dare touch it.

The girl with the adorable look of green eyes on her blonde hair.

The future must grow up to be a beautiful woman, and Hannah thought to herself that she wished she could stick with her two sons.

I know that my two sons, Mark, my eldest son, and Abel, my second son, also care about that girl.

Seems like he talks to me now and then...

Basic Letty sticks to Winn and somehow helps him with his job, so the two of them who just play are having a hard time getting along.

"Hey, why don't you leave him alone and play with us?

"Good morning, hon."

Mark speaks with the neighborhood kids to Letty, who walks a little behind Winn, but Letty hides a book on her back and follows Winn on a small run.

Recently, Letty was starting to come back before evening after returning once before noon.

Because at this hour I finished my day job and found out Winn's hand was free.

I always carry a book and read it with Winn looking small and difficult.

I hid the book behind me because I had the experience of turning it down the same way before and getting the book taken.

Most Letty's legs had already surpassed those of the older boys, and he chased them right back, crying...

Letty spreads the book by sitting in the chair next to Wynn, who takes a break from work.

Hannah, who looked disturbed at first, doesn't say anything now either.

That's why Letty was sitting in this space with dignity.

Six years old, she had just begun to learn letters from a tutor hired at home.

Wynn, on the other hand, couldn't let him go to school, but to remember his bookkeeping job, Hannah taught him only to calculate letters and numbers.

So Letty reads alongside her voice as Winn reads the book.

The tutor tells me that the pungent content has honestly gotten into my head that I'm with Wynn.

"- This tease that we are tearing up is said to be Alfana Riku..."

The books Letty brings are history books, myths, and sometimes precious magic books, and Wynn wholeheartedly welcomed her visit from after noon.

For Winn, who has no such thing as a friend, she thought she could call herself her best friend anymore.

"- Rikunokubu, there are twists and turns that can't be swept away, and they are flooded with things that can't be slipped by Mazuru - stay here, Mazuru. What?

"Of demons, the strongest one."

"Better than you?

"Aren't you strong?

"More than one of you?

"Hmmm...... then the knights are decided to be stronger!

For Wynn, who admires knights, their strength was absolute.

Because that was also the case with entertainment books other than the correctional system that Letty brings.

"But if one of your guys is better, I don't know what you're gonna do about it.

"Speaking of which... is that it?

"Is that it?

Instead of the Demon King, if a high-ranking Demon Nation were to emerge in unison, the Knights would be lightly destroyed...

The book I was reading included some difficult content, but the two young men were sloppy year after year.

"I know the reason for fire and light it -"

"Come on, I did it!

Winn's fingertips lit a small fire about a candle.

I tried to practice the magic that Letty brought me in the magic book.

"I'll do it too."

"Focus on your fingertips."

"Shh, shh, shh, shh"

Letty staring at her fingertips.

"I will follow the proverb of Him and bring Him together -"

Shubbo!

"Wow!

A flame sprayed vigorously from Letty's fingertips raises the firepillar with momentum that is likely to involve Winn's face, which was peering in.

"Wow, come on, man!?

He hurriedly waves his hand and extinguishes the fire, leaning back and peeking into Wynn's face with his ass cake.

"Oh, what a surprise."

My forehead was burnt and chilled, but I didn't get burns.

"Looks like Letty has a lot more magic than I do. You'll be a great wizard."

Despite being shown a far higher talent than herself, Letty can illuminate Win with a praiseworthy eye instead of jealousy.

"But to grab a mahogany, have a good day? Me, Obeng, today is the day..."

"I think Letty is very smart. It's getting a lot harder to read."

"But if you keep going, there's always something to come..."

I'll stroke Letty's head.

"Come on, I know very well."

"Oh, well, then let's read it together again"

"Yeah!"

Nodding vigorously, Letty.

Thus the two spent their days of training and self-study - Wynn, anyway, recognized Letty as playing -.

And furthermore, the moon flows - Winn, twelve, Letty, ten.

He woke up that day as usual, waiting for Letty to come.

"Ugh, brother..."

With the momentum that Letty had been running as she cried, she hugged Wynn.

"Duh, what's going on? Letty."

Turning twelve, Wynn is hugged and accidentally upset by a near-old heterosexual, even though he thinks like his sister.

Whatever such a win looks like, Letty still hugs him hard.

"Me, if I don't go far, I can't go?

Winn, who was softer than he thought and a little more stunned by Letty's body odor, which smelled sweet again, is surprised and peels off Letty and peeks into that face.

"Away, Clenado?

The city next to the Empire City of Clenado. That's far enough for Winn.

"Yeah. It's farther away."

"It is. How soon can you be back?

I don't know.

That's what I say. I hug you again and cry, Letty.

Winn stroked her head gently until she stopped crying.

"I'm sorry. You're not gonna be able to work out with me."

"Fine. I'll be saving money soon for school admissions to become a knight, and if I ever get to school, I won't be able to train with you."

"Yeah."

Letty may even be married to a foreign country.

The elegance she exudes at times, though young, was not a sign of our own common people.

In this year too, I can somehow guess as much as she would probably be the princess of a high-ranking house.

Well, Princess, I didn't understand why you were pretending not to see me leaving the house.

If you are a princess of high nobility, you may marry even at a young age.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's too soon to be ten.

"I'll try to get you home as soon as I can!

"Come on, you can't come home early."

Winn had decided to be his daughter-in-law.

Being home early means being separated from them.

That must be bad for her house, too.

"Can't you?

I'm about to cry again, Letty.

"I'm glad to hear that..."

"Then I'll be back soon!

Letty clenching her fist to get in the mood.

"If I exercise prep today, can I play the game right away?

"Oh, fine."

Wynn nods when he sees Letty in a more than usual mood.

Unlike the usual workout menu, she's in the mood for it.

I guess there's also the stress of going where you don't even want to go to that.

I thought you wanted to distract me, so I decided to hang out.

- Letty's sword speed that day was more than I've ever seen before.

Wynn targets a counter blow while defending, but Letty ends up getting caught up in Letty's rigged feint without showing a gap to the end, the first time Letty beats Wynn since the two of us started working out.

And the day after that, Letty stopped showing her face. And the day after that, and the day after that.

That was the last day before the trip.

I haven't worked out on my own in years.

Honestly, I missed you. but I don't have time to be crying.

She started walking her way.

I need more strength now to be a knight who is also a dream.

The goal is to save up the enrollment fee in a little while.

Winn bullies and works out his body even more, as if to distract Letty from loneliness -
