Master of the brave.

Inside the Wingman ②

Don't, don't, don't.

Heavy knocking on the entrance door, Laura rose from her bunk.

Three of Laura's hired adventurers were knocking on the door.

It's a party of three, a young man in his late teens or so and a boy and a girl under the age of ten.

"What's wrong with you? Oh, that child..."

Try to hide behind Winn and Letty, little girl standing.

I'm rattling and shivering.

Laura immediately assumed that this girl was the killer she was stealing,

"Please, come inside"

Bring him into the house.

I watched for a moment when I saw a wing on the girl's back.

We put the three children inside, but only Poulat remained standing outside.

"Mr. Laura. I'll be running to the guild soon. There's something I'd like you to do…"

While running to the Alliance, Poulat asks Laura if she can ask me to calm the girl down for now and what the situation is.

"Right. If a girl asks you what's going on, maybe I should."

"Excuse me. It may not be my job to ask you, my client..."

"It's okay, I'll listen to you."

"Oh, please? Wynn. Oh, and..."

"If we're going back to the city, can I lend you a horse? Can you ride a horse?

"That helps"

As soon as Laura had the horse ready, Poulat ran towards Simlug.

Dropping off that back, Laura goes back inside the house.

"In the meantime, let's get your body cleaned up because we're going to boil water, shall we? Don't let the girl be so dirty."

Lola smiled gently at the girl as she shrunk her back wings and looked up at herself.

"Sorry! Can anyone get a crusade mission coming up!?

Shimrug Adventurer Guild East Branch, Teito.

Despite the late night, many officials and adventurers were roaring.

Demons are often nocturnal, so the Adventurer Alliance remains open all the time.

The gaze of the people inside concentrates on Poulat, who jumped in and shouted out.

"What's wrong with you?

One of the guild's officials has spoken up.

I guess Luria took turns, she didn't look like him.

"There was a goblin. I think maybe there's a settlement. I've encountered and killed one, so I want to gather those who can crusade as soon as possible."

"About goblins, why don't we do it at your party? Or are you alone?

"There are three of us at my party. Two of them ran out with kids!

Poulat screams back at his flying voice.

Goblins are sensitive to the smell of their fellow blood. I sniff it, even in quite a distance.

After slaughtering the goblins that had struck him in the winged settlement, Poulat asked Letty to put the four together and flew out of the sky.

Because if we stay there forever, the smell of our people's blood will bring all the goblins together.

And the other thing that is troublesome as a goblin habit is enmity.

They should know that humans killed their people with the smell left at the scene.

Then, it could strike nearby villages and travelers as revenge.

I needed to crusade sooner than I got my hands on Goblin.

"I don't have a choice. If you can show us where it is, we can take it, depending on the reward."

"Is that true? I'll show you. It should be on the requisition form to the Alliance regarding the client, the requisition details, and the compensation."

Poulat tells his staff that the person in charge is Luria.

The official nodded and went back inside the counter once, retrieving the booklet from inside.

I'll send out a request from inside and show it to the adventurer who got rid of about forty and a half beards that offered me. He briefly asked from Poulat how he encountered Goblin as he looked at the request.

"... I see. There seems to be no problem with the rewards. Let's take it on at our party.

"Help. I'm Poulat."

"It's an oat, nice to meet you. I'll introduce you to my people, so follow me."

When the man says so, he guides Poulat to the table.

I guess the men and women at the table are one of them.

The fact that it creates a calm atmosphere makes the oats seem like a fairly skilled party.

Poulat exhales in relief that he was able to cross with the skilled adventurers without labor.

"A young man over there is Lewis. As you can see, use a spear."

Say hello.

He was a young man in his late twenties with a slightly gray long black hair in a lump behind him.

He greets me by putting up a spear on the table that he thinks is good, and by putting up a ceramic cup with beer.

By the way, he wore dents and scratched iron breasts, and the muscles of his arms, visible peeking from under his shirt, were buoyant.

"So, this is Eliza. Surprise, a magician."

"My pleasure, Eliza."

"Heh!"

A woman in her mid-twenties or so who named herself Eliza. He wears a loose robe and stretches his dark brown hair to the side.

Wearing no weapons, Eliza was a magician who fights only with magic.

"It's comforting if you have a magician!

Poulat gripped forcefully at the hand that Eliza had offered.

A magical user is rare enough to be named a Wizard. The Wizard is a drag at every party.

Just because the Wizard belongs, enough to say that it is no exaggeration to call that party top-notch.

"And this is what I got."

An oat pointing to a one-handed axe with a thick blade and an iron shield, which stood on the side of Lewis' spear.

Imagine this oat with a reddish head and a bearded face with an iron shield and an axe.

Don't the enemies you meet run away just to see him scatter spider children? So compelling that it seems so.

Axemen, spears, and magicians.

It's a pretty balanced party.

"It's Poulat. Use the sword. I'm sorry I got you a job like goblin extermination for a strong party like that. I appreciate it."

"There's nothing wrong with that. So, Poulat, what about your people?

"My people are waiting at the client's house. Two kids, though. I'm still running."

Poulat learns to be a little shy.

My people have two children against these all-too-constitutional oats called the Adventurer Party.

It was awkward to call ourselves adventurers, as if we were just playing with our children.

"Ha, I don't care much. By the time we ran out, we all did the downchecking. And you did a good job of connecting us."

"Not everyone is a veteran from the start. You can be proud."

"Oh, thank you"

"Then I want to see what the job is about when I'm done saying hello"

The requisition received by Olt from guild officials was spread out on the table.

Two people, Lewis and Eliza, peek into it.

"Poulat, the goblin crusade you encountered. There's probably a settlement, so that's a crusade."

"There might be a Goblin Road."

"You'll be there. Well, not our enemy. Poulat's party will guide you to the site. They're still running out, so we'll do the main battle. We'll pay for the crusade, and Poulat and the others will pay for the under-examination. Is that all right?

"No problem."

"Then we'll be ready to leave soon."

"Sorry to keep you waiting! What?!?

Again, Laura's house.

Poulat, who came back with an adventurer who took on the crusade, was stunned when he entered with the momentum to jump inside.

Surrounded by the enclosure, the three children were eating the rest of the stew they received last night at dinner.

Winn and Letty - and the other one.

"... that kid, that wingman kid?

While Poulat was returning to the city, he even had his hair done as well as bathed in water.

Silver glowing hair illuminated by flames, pure white wings.

The noble species of the Elves, the winged race alongside the High Elves. The blood-drawing girl of the clan, called close to God and the Spirit, looked neat like a doll.

Did you borrow Laura's clothes or have her put on larger clothes. The excess sleeves are broken.

He was bothered to have a hole in the back of his clothes to get his back wings out.

I've never seen a wingman before.

Eliza, the magician, accidentally leaks an inspiring voice.

"I think this kid's had a lot of terrible eyes"

Laura told Poulat.

That figure of disappointing stew is not that of a species about to become a legend, but a normal child everywhere.

"Even though it's still small..."

"Have we talked?

"Yes."

The winged girl's name was Iferina.

One day, inside her wing man was attacked by dog-headed humans and goblins.

Apparently, it was a quiet night and a half.

Iferina told her parents to stay hidden in the house, and she seemed to be trembling in her bunk.

Yelling and loud noises echoed many times outside the house, and eventually the fire burned into the house, he said. And I hear Iferina's lost her mind because of her fear.

When I noticed, they said the surroundings were full of tranquility.

Iferina was lucky enough to survive thanks to the house burning all over her.

But the other wingers, except her...

Poulat and the oats are also silently eating stew, their eyes turned to the winged girl.

I was crying when it came to Eliza.

"Let's take vengeance."

Everyone nodded except the children in Olt's words.

"You're a dog-headed person..."

"You're more of a demon than a human being. Maybe Iferina doesn't know the difference between demons and people yet."

Eliza corrects Old's groaning with her arms.

Three people, Winn, Letty and Poulat, surrounding the furnace, and three others, Olt, Lewis and Eliza, sit in their seats.

Laura has Iferina on her lap.

Apparently, they missed me.

"When it comes to the dog head demon, it only comes to mind about Kobolt, or the Beastman clan"

The Beasts have forces far south of the continent and are rarely seen in the Lemursil Empire, which is also located in the north.

All in all, he had a strong body, and many were adventurers or mercenaries if he were to see them.

"Whatever it takes, I don't think the Beast Man is acting with the Devil. Cobolts seem to have strong lines..."

Cobolt is as fertile a demon as Coblin.

Wise enough to wield an easy weapon, just like a goblin, but not much different in strength.

"The rest is the place, but where will it be?

"Yeah, well, how long does it take to get there on foot?

"Is that it? Don't you know once you've been there? Oh, or were you exploring the surroundings?

"No... I actually flew in the sky to get inside the wingman"

"" "What?

The Orts were all like, "What are you talking about, you?" Seeing the expression on his face, "Poulat said,

(I knew it would happen)

I exhaled a sigh of relief that my reaction was correct.

"Ugh! This guy is amazing!

"This sounds fun!

"No... No, no, no, it's not possible"

Two of them, Olt and Lewis, enjoyed the surrounding landscape in a pleasant way, while Eliza, a magical mentor, held her head.

Now the six men were flying over the river, surrounded by a membrane of translucent light, aiming inside the wingman.

"Without the chant of a spell, that's such an adult count, too. This... this, this incredible"

"What's going on, Eliza? This kid is awesome. Isn't that better than you?

"You're on too different levels!

Eliza exclaimed to Olt, who had called out with a smile on his swallow.

"You see this magical irrationality!? The magic of flying is a very difficult magic! Without the chant of a spell, if I heard you fly because I thought you could fly, any court magician would flip!

"Mr. Iliza, is this so awesome after all?

Poulat asks Eliza, who is excited, terrified that only anger comes up at irrationality.

"Magic is important to the image. Maybe I should say I paint in my head. That's not blurry either, there's a pretty clear image. I immobilize that image with a spell, and I embody the effect, but this kid is drooling his magic without a spell, forcing him to embody his will."

Eliza saw this little girl exercising great magic - Letty.

"I mean, in brief, I'm twisting my logic with strength! If we look at it like this from a normal magician, it's nothing but irrational!

Magic. A girl named Letty seems to have a gift of nature that can be manipulated intuitively.

Plus who taught him, he seemed to know the basics about magic.

But it's still not enough. Overwhelmingly little knowledge of magic.

Right now, the amount of magic that Eliza is feeling from Letty - if I were to analogize, it would be like Letty is pouring water in a bucket into that cup if the magic she needs to float people into the sky is a glass of water.

That, too, extends as you continue to fly.

The inexhaustible magic - it deserves to be described as just drooling.

If only this child had acquired knowledge of magic...

"Well, I finally found out that this young lady is amazing"

"Who are you? This child......"

Four glances concentrate on Letty.

Without even realizing that there was a concentration of fearful gaze somewhere, Winn and Letty both seemed to have fun and sometimes laugh.
