I don't really want to show it to people.
People with faces who were unwilling to do it in a dim alley fluttered and probably did not have a home, people laying on thin tongue-like iron slabs and rolling to the ground were present there. That made the narrow path even more cramped because of them, and it seemed that the two adults were finally different.
Such an environment has been similarly seen ever since Taro snuck into the settlement, and it seemed unlikely that only one place was specially so. The neighborhood, which had no privacy or anything, heard the sound of life and someone talking from it. Like Bella said the other day, I hear the sound of the babies and the noises of the children coming from somewhere.
"Sometimes Mr. Taylor. Please be careful with your safety. We pride ourselves on being versatile, but we can't really help you with the rough stuff."
Xiao Mei, who refrains behind Taro, looks around with the same faceless expression. "I know," Taro responded briefly, confirming the presence of a handgun in his jacket from the top of his clothes.
"Um, I know you've been wearing a borough for disguise, but you're still going to be in the upper echelon category here. Should I have gone to the market first?"
If it was this lonely land, it would naturally be selling old clothes, and Taro slightly regretted that the outlook was sweet. I felt the gaze of different people from earlier, and I'm not very comfortable with it.
"Do you want to go back to the commercial district after a little flutter? Ume, is the road okay? I don't even know where I am anymore, by the way."
"Yeah, I'll take care of it, Mr. Taylor. It seems to grasp a bit of hard terrain because it comes in three-dimensionally, but it's a really simple structure compared to an electronic circuit. Nothing like that."
"He's reliable... which, let's just go over there"
"Yes, Mr. Taylor. What's over there, by the way?
"I don't know. That's why let's go."
Taro started walking well when he returned it that way with ease. Xiaomei, dressed in a work outfit similar to Taro's, follows, and the two advance their feet towards the heart of the residential area.
"That's an open facility... what is it? Hospital?"
Find the facility at the open entrance and take a peek inside Taro. Inside a building of simple construction, powerless eyes made a long line of snakes.
"No, you don't, Mr. Taylor. Probably places like rations or cookouts. Maybe the food situation isn't very good."
At the beginning of the line there was a man with a large pattern handled by people, pouring soup-like objects into the cup each had in his hand.
"Is it the harm caused by Enzio's food policy?
"Come on, what do you think, Mr. Taylor? At least Xiaomei knows that the people here must be poor."
"... poverty"
Taro said that and flaunted his face, he would get food and go home. I glanced sideways at the cup that was in the hands of those leaving the facility.
"Are you itchy? It looks like rice is being used."
"Perhaps the food station distributed by the EAP is in operation, Mr. Taylor. Because there seems to be a strong aspect of natural foods being eaten so far without a choice."
"I see. Do rich people eat old-fashioned bread or something... um, I originally developed it as a luxury food product"
Reminds me of the history of natural food development, and the complex mood of Taro. It should be a luxury ingredient for natural foodstuffs, but it is used to combat hunger. I didn't hate that, but I was realizing again that it was something I didn't know what was going to happen.
"Hey you...... can you clarify if you want to line up or not?"
A grumpy man calls from behind Taro. "Oh, excuse me," Taro bowed his head, giving way to the man and leaving him there.
"By the way, Mr. Taylor. The map issued by the Station Management Department does not specify the existence of such a facility. You shouldn't have guessed."
"Ugh. You know, the maps aren't accurate, and that means you haven't overmanaged the crime scene, right?
"It's a guess, but that's probably what's going to happen. I don't even think the administration has personal information about all of their residents. All published demographic and economic data seem to lack credibility."
"Um, about the punishment for illegal residents, but you're going to need to adopt some sort of countermeasure around there, like temporarily repealing it or granting exceptions. If we do this uniformly, it's going to suck."
"Right. There will be riots everywhere, and probably not enough places or facilities to accommodate them at all."
"Ha... for now, I'm glad you just figured that out. I've been trying to stick around and focus on policing, but I think I'm going to have to rub the content quite a bit. Take your time, too."
When Taro blurs, he puts a modification into the Alliance's business plan. What I did to the Tsukiko rule was going to be counterproductive rather than better security.
"Rapid changes call for confusion. That would be wise...... Mr. Taylor by the way. Have you applied to Miss Bella for security for this favor?
To Xiaomei, who tells him that while looking straight ahead, he tilts his neck at Taro for what he's talking about. Xiao Mei checks horizontally to see how that is, he continues, "Please keep looking at this one".
"Since leaving what appears to be an earlier distribution facility, it has always been monitored by multiple people at a constant distance. I've chosen the path a little randomly, but still no change. If it's not tied to the thread of destiny, Xiaomei thinks it's probable that it's impossible to think of it as a coincidence."
"He also decided... unfortunately my destiny thread is exclusively for beauties. Let's get some free time."
"I agree, Mr. Taylor. But isn't it still possible that the person you're tailing is a beautiful woman?
"... No, because when Xiao Mei is smiling, it's mostly when she's unhappy for me. You're all men."
"Oh, no, that's out-of-heart. You're absolutely right that they're all men."
"Yes, yes, just run away"
Taro deliberately takes out his gun to stand out with a slight plum on his side. And when I waved it unconstitutionally over my head, it struck my chest again.
"You're the ones with a clear purpose if you still want to follow me on this. Assassination or kidnapping. Well, that's it. Contact Mr. Bella immediately and do your best to dash. If it isn't, it's for robbery."
When I mention what Phantom once taught me, I walk out of Taro relaxed. Xiaomei watched Taro like that on the spot for a while looking unexpected, but eventually started chasing after Taro on a small run.
And the person he was following never followed from there.
"What the hell, boy? Is there anything you can get warm?
Returning to the mooring pram, Bella, who sat in the captain's seat instead of Taro, greeted him.
"Well, I've learned a lot...... but honestly I don't know how to judge"
"What do you mean?
"No, I had my thoughts everywhere, but isn't that an idea I saw from the outside after all? You don't know what people think when they actually live."
"I see... hehe, you're going to be a good mentor"
"No, no, please don't. Oh, he's not a kid anymore."
Taro took a distance from Bella as she stroked her head with a squeamish, saying so.
"From what I can tell, he's like my brother... he is. If you can afford the time, why don't you even try making one with a local collaborator? It would be easier if we had someone we could trust to hear directly."
"Well, yes... by the way, does Mr. Bella have someone like that?
"Of course you are. The Alpha system. So, from sewage treatment to prostitution brokers, we're running an end-of-life job that brings the bottom line together as a separate company for station management. Of course it's a secret that the station manages it. I guess those people think I can count on my sister at best."
"I see... I can hear the raw voice from those employees. If you don't know what's going on, you don't have any measures or shit."
"Heh, yeah. You should try everything. An employee of our company. Then it's going to be the opinion of a middle class that's really stable and earned. I know it's really a good idea to have Alan or Phantom look into it, but Boy, you want to make sure with your own eyes, right?
"Yeah, right. It's completely different from listening and feeling it."
Taro affirms so, thinking about the lives of the poor he sees in Wyoming.
Taro knew that there were problems in various neighborhoods as knowledge, but he didn't even know what it was. I wouldn't say I still understand it in detail, but I could be sure of the fact that it was completely different from what I had imagined.
Taro thought that in this world of great technological progress, such problems were to some extent solved. Even when I said poverty, I thought it was a relative based on the Galactic Empire Center. "We are surrounded by wooden furniture and have a rich diet. Look at them. Iron, iron, iron."
At least, I didn't imagine a level of stuff that would have trouble eating that day either.
"Because I was rich when I realized... Uh-huh, what do I do? I guess it's really a good idea to create an organization like Bella's."
"Well, that'll take too long"
"That's right. You want to hide your identity and sneak in somewhere?
"Come on, I don't know what to do. As I said earlier, you should try and see everything. Boy's still young... by the way, boy."
Bella accidentally raised her face and somehow reflected the outboard appearance on the large screen. There I could see a small work ship floating some distance from the plum.
"Todd Company. You're a small collector. With eight employees, the workers are the poor of dormitories. That's a debris collection ship there, but it doesn't look like it's doing very well. I know it won't break right now, but I'm sure you'd be happy to fix it."
Work vessel generating uneven gas from thrusters. It moves aloud, and then multiple cables are stretched, and there are people connected who carry out collection work ahead of each other. Apparently, there was an anomaly in the propulsion mechanism, which was showing fluttering motion by the time it was dangerous.
"I see... that you will look into it carefully. Sort of. Well, you'll be ready for a little bit."
As Taro returned to the pier thanking him for the meal, he ran out for the market in the commercial district.
There will be clothes, tools, and cluttered parts needed to repair old boats that are just fine for a tired mechanic to wear.
