Me, Hydra

I, Hydra, chapter 111.

"You're strong, I can't beat you. So I gave up."

Hearing Attila's explanation, Hydra clapped her hands.

"You are surprisingly in tune with my appetite on this point of facing your flaws. Sparta is peace-loving, and since you have no intention of waging war on us either, let's make an alliance."

Atilla fell silent for a brief moment at Hydra's invitation.

"I'm not good at diplomacy."

"That's okay, I'm good at~"

As she said that, Hydra pointed to the mountain of candy in front of Attila.

"Candy is something that is cherished even in other worlds, but in Sparta it is merely a cheap snack of five for a copper coin. And that's not even the tip of Sparta's iceberg. The technological civilization recorded in the Great Library of Sparta is enough to instantly advance your reign by fifty years."

"Then why did you ally yourself with me?" Attila asked rhetorically. "Like you said, Sparta is stronger than my empire in every way, so why would you want an alliance with me and what good would that do you?"

Hearing Attila's rhetorical question, Hydra nodded her head. Despite claiming to be bad at diplomacy, Attila clearly wasn't the type to be ignorant of it....

But that was that it wasn't a bad thing, it was much easier to talk to smart people than to explain for stupid people.

"Like you said, Sparta is indeed superior to your empire in every way, but not in one way."

Looking at Attila's calm, unruffled face, Hydra spoke softly.

"Population. Sparta's population has always been between 150,000 and 170,000 left in a state that doesn't count the Beast. Population has always been a problem that Sparta can't get around. And you don't have to. The last thing you need is a population labor force. In a short while there will be an angelic civilization. The angels and the Greeks are my enemies. So I need an ally with a sufficient population..."

As she said that, Hydra narrowed her eyes.

Hydra's original body was the World Tree, and in a sense Hydra could be said to have usurped the spoils of the angelic divine power, although it was not clear why the angel had not attacked him at that time, but what the returned angelic divine power would do was anyone's guess....

The newborn Nord, Azeroth, was still in a state of a hundred ruins, and using it rashly might ruin that turnaround backer for nothing. Thus, Attila was Hydra's best choice of ally....

"According to you...then why don't I go and make an alliance with an angel or Greece?"

Shrugging her shoulders, Hydra spoke matter-of-factly.

"Apparently not? The angelic divine right has never been anything other than what it is, and the Vorpal Sword in your hand even has a Norse flavor to it. As for Greece...they might choose to fuck you."

Hearing Hydra's words, Attila nodded.

"Good, then we are allies from now on."

Hearing Attila's crisp reply, Hydra blinked a bit hesitantly.

"Why did you suddenly answer so crisply?"

Upon hearing that, Attila looked deeply at Hydra in front of her, a look that seemed to say whether you were stupid or not.

"You're much stronger than I am, and if I don't I'm afraid I'll just cross over and die..."

Attila's answer caused Hydra to feel a bit dumbfounded, but Hydra quickly put that dumbfounded feeling behind her.

"By the way, is your empire solid? You've disappeared from that world of yours for so long, do you need me to send in an army to help you eradicate the alien party?"

At the news, Attila shook his head easily, his entire being seemingly unaware of his sparse rule. As he licked the candy, Attila calmly said, "No, a few more lashes from those cowardly civilizations would be nice."

It was clear that Attila's understanding of domination and Che's level of understanding of war were completely at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Shrugging her shoulders, Hydra slouched.

"What can I say, you really don't know anything about such things as politics~"

Attila seemed casual about Hydra's words.

"Fine, at least while I'm alive, I'll have a whip if they dare to move, and two more cranial cups on my locker."

Simple and brutal.

There's another shift tonight....

But expect it to be after 1:00....

Volume 1: Text-144.Tribal-Shaman

After a successful alliance, Attila stayed in Sparta for a few days and chose to visit his hometown. After hearing the news, Hydra was kind enough to send Quintus and others to help Attila suppress the rebellion.

Although this didn't seem necessary to Attila....

On the other side of the world, the entire steppe began to fall into chaos because of Attila's sudden disappearance.

As in history, Attila is a purely martial king, meaning a king who fights on a war horse. This is good, because it opens up the territory, but expect the worst, Attila's understanding of politics is unbelievably poor....

In the original history of the world, the Hun dynasty of Attila fell soon after his death, which in a way added to Attila's legendary status, but in another way proved the mediocrity of his politics.

After Attila's disappearance, all the noblemen who had been in possession of horses and soldiers had their minds made up. At first, Attila's mighty force forced them to bow down to the arrogant Huns. Now Attila had disappeared....

This idea didn't explode at first, as Attila's reputation was so strong that it could even achieve the effect of making a small child stop crying. But as time passed, Attila disappeared to become a being who died by assassination or death by condemnation or something like that, processed by someone with a mind to do so....

And so, in a king or a general, you'd rather have guts! The roar of the entire empire that Attila had struck down began a rebellion....

Wait....

Get out Attila didn't die of this, why does it feel like this is an allusion to some Eastern dynasty of the Ying surname?

In the meantime, looking at the prairie before him that was plunged into war, Attila was unhappy.

"Sure enough~ As soon as you disappeared the group of guys under your command started a rebellion~ You really need to catch up on your political lessons~"

Making a sound from the side of Attila's head, Hydra's separate strand of consciousness attached itself to Attila's hair pendant.

In the meantime, Attila was unhappy to hear Hydra's words.

"It's just a few extra cups anyway."

In the meantime, Attila began to unhurriedly approach the tribe that was in chaos before her.

New feuds between the different tribes over Attila's disappearance erupted in a flash, and the warriors of the two tribes continued to fight each other. In the heat of the fight, a soldier suddenly spotted Attila's figure.

"Big Shan Yu is back! The King is back!"

Hearing the soldier's call, the battlefield suddenly fell silent, and following the soldier's line of sight, Attila was slowly approaching the tribe with the leader of Sparta's forbidden army.

After a moment of silence, the leaders of the two tribes nodded their heads in a heartbeat after looking at each other.

"There are only a dozen of them! Ten beauties for every one killed! Fifty gold coins! Whoever kills Attila will never have to worry about food or drink again! And the beauty keeps on coming!"
