Middle-aged Adventurer Kein’s Good Deed

173. Clean the Kane sewer.

Coming to the sewer entrance, the smell of dove drifts.

"That smells awful."

Xara, the female bandit, is rare, holding her nose and mouth with a handkerchief.

"You certainly don't get used to it. 'Cause it's still an important job."

Clogged gutters in the sewer and sewage dripping all over it can cause unsanitary conditions and also cause infectious diseases.

Therefore, the sewer can be considered an important facility that supports the city of Ern.

It is this job to scratch it out and remove it with a shovel, as it causes clogging when the hedro builds up in the gutter of the sewer.

"I've never been to a sewer before, but this smells intense"

Kurtz, the glasses magician who has survived all sorts of ordeals, is just as hip this time around.

"Abel, we're never gonna help!

"You two don't have to hand it out. This is a man's training, hey, Mr. Kane!

Strained and shovel-wielding Abel with a gentle smile and a voice saying he was an A-rank swordsman.

"Abel. Too much tension won't last, so let's do it slowly. You should use this mask."

Give Abel the mask and gloves, Kane.

I just can't do it without this much gear that stinks.

Kane smiles bitterly and hands the mask to both of them, hoping he won't help, that Xara and Kurtz will come along.

When you're ready, all you have to do is quietly punch into the dobby task.

"Damn, this!

Kane quickly realizes that Abel is shaking the shovel so fucked up.

It's nice to be uptight, but your motivation seems empty.

Abel was an elite swordsman, so I've never been asked to clean a sewer or anything.

I have managed to do it because I am originally the owner of a strong force, but when there are many wasted movements, fatigue accumulates and does not continue.

Apparently, he's not in the right shape to wave the sword, and he's struggling pretty hard.

"Abel. You can't leave it to me. Dob has a knack for it. It's easier to use your entire body as well as your arms and adjust the position to hold the pattern without being forced to swing."

"I see. That's Mr. Kane.

"I've done this job so many times, I'm just used to it."

"Um, there's something about this that goes to the edge of the sword, too."

"No, I don't think it has anything to do with the sword..."

"Any other advice?"

That's what they say. Kane thinks about it, but I can't think of anything in particular.

If you know the trick, all you have to do is gut out the mud.

But I couldn't help but add this because Abel is looking at me with the eyes I so much expected.

"Dob, that's a tough job, but if you think that makes the city beautiful and everyone helps, it's a rewarding job."

Monotonic tasks exhaust people.

But that's what keeps you out if you think it'll help someone.

"Clean up the city and help everyone, I see! I'll try!

What did you find out, Abel nodded deeply and began to scratch out the groove hedron unconsciously.

Looks like you got the hang of it, not the kind of force you just gave me.

Working silently, its appearance somewhere resembles prayer.

Kane goes back to work, too, when this looks okay.

Often the two of us were silently scratching out the hedron, but all of a sudden, out of the darkness over there, we were like, "Kick it!" and a rat roared.

"Wow!"

It's not just a rat.

It's a fine monster called Giant Rat.

The sewers in the city's basement can get a little irritated and small animals can become warcrafted.

This is also why the Adventurer Alliance is asking for Dob.

Giantrat, who was about to jump on Kane, bled out of his neck and fell.

"If you're a monster of this magnitude, leave it to me."

How dare Abel drop Giant Rat's neck with a shovel for Dobby instead of a sword?

That's an A-rank swordsman.

"You're reliable. It really helps."

Kane alone doesn't mean he can't just take it down, but he would have struggled pretty hard.

Thank God Abel and the others followed me.

"What, I'm the one who's letting you study precious"

Dob, what did you find? Abel is eager to do Dob.

That's a man who calls himself a hero. He mastered Dobby's trick in a short time.

Thanks to Abel, the work went pretty far, and that was when Kane thought Dobb was going to be done by the end of the day.

"Abel, Mr. Kane. Back off, both of you!

It's impossible to physically help Dob out, so the sorcerer Kurtz, who was using the magic of detection just in case he was at least as alert, speaks up.

"What's up!

"It's a powerful monster reaction. Why do I get all these bad feelings!

"Monsters, if you have me and Mr. Kane."

"No, the enemy is undead!

Faster than I say, a creepy spirit body comes from the darkness over there without a herd.

"Kuh, why is there a high level Necromancer (Ghost) out here!

"Perhaps, but it was a bubble of impatience when the Demon King came"

"It's not like you're both saying that for a long time. We have to get out of here! No!"

The exorcism of the Necromancer (Ghost), whose physical attacks are ineffective, is difficult no matter how A-ranked the party.

You can't purify it unless you use a sacred weapon for the versus the undead, or even a high priest in the church.

Because the possessory attack of the Necromancer (Ghost) is a mental attack, the A-ranked Xalas will not die soon after eating it.

I never die, but I was an enemy I hated for Xala because when I was taken possession, I felt sick to death.

"Wow!"

"Mr. Kane, it's dangerous... Huh?

The shovel Kane wielded with her hips is usually cutting the ghost!?

You reacted to the evil temper, Kane's shovel glowed silver and swept away the ghosts around you.

"That's Mr. Kane. But what the hell is this? Uh, I already brought the literature if this is the case."

A wisdom bag of kultz that always carries a ton of books, but I just left the sewer thinking it would stink of important books.

"No, Kurtz. I don't even have to look into it. Remember what Kane said earlier," Clean up the city, help everyone. "

Doya face for some reason, Abel explaining.

"Right! Mr. Kane is a good man, so you were expecting this as well."

"You've noticed a lot. A good sword saves a wandering soul!

I'm not a predictor, so there's no way that's true.

"No, I think this is probably because the Virgin purified the shovel... you haven't heard either of them"

Even if Kane says so, I haven't heard of Abel and Kurtz, who are still thriving.

I just have to shrug my shoulders thinking about this pattern again.

"By the way, Mr. Kane. There's a ghost out there, so maybe we should stop working on it."

Unlike the men who are flourishing on their own, Xala, the female bandit, says something realistic.

Kisara also manages to come along because this is a good time to hang out, but to be honest, I want to get out of the sewer as soon as possible.

"So is that. I think Kurtz-kun's anticipation that he has a strong temper. If the Necromancer (Ghost) is about to come out again, why don't you go back and ask Mr. Sylvia to purify it too...... Artena?

Altena came from the other side as the Kanes tried to turn back to call for help once.

"Kane told me he was here in the guild."

"It is."

"I've made lunch."

Oh, my God, did you bring lunch to a place like this?

It's full of the smell of a huge hedron, but Altena looks fine without a mask.

The goddess, Altena, apparently doesn't get dirty to the extent of hedro.

"I appreciate that, but it's not the time."

Apparently, the back of the sewer is a bubble of frustration, and there's a lot of ghosts there, Kane explained.

"If I could just purify it, could this be it?"

When Altena waved, a rainbow band of light spread all over the basement, and the sewer was instantly purified.

"Wow, the walls are shiny too. The hedro's all gone!

Xara was happy to take a mask and take a deep breath.

I am still amazed by the divine strength of the goddess Altena.

"Hey, Mr. Kane."

Until just now, it was thinly dirty, and Abel, who is shiny, asks Kane with a pitiful face.

Of course Kane and the others are purified and shiny.

"What is it, Abel?"

"If Mr. Altena could clean it all up, it would have been our work just now."

When they say that, it's Kane who gets in a lot of trouble.

"Right. Um, um... I'm sure feelings matter. I guess Altena could have done a miracle too because we felt like cleaning up the city!

Kane makes a painful excuse, not to say that it was a wasted task to get help.

"Right. In other words, was that task the prayer that brought in the miracle of the goddess? All the points were made. I didn't know they were thinking that far, they made me study really good today!

With a face of gratitude, Abel comes looking for a handshake.

"No, thank you very much."

Abel was Kane, who I always thought would be helpful because she convinced me of everything by herself.

"Look, let's have lunch. I've made a lot of them, so there's a lot for everyone."

With Elena perfectly performing her homemaker business at Kane's mansion, Altena was a little depressed because she couldn't do her chores.

That triggered Altena's behavior of making lunches and taking them to Kane, and it may be because of Elena that the sewer was consequently purified.

"Wow, that looks delicious"

Plenty of hot air in a pan is a woodland meow soup filled with seasonal mountain vegetables with pork.

The refreshing scent of mountain vegetables gives me an appetite.

"You're not working Xara. This is just for me and Mr. Kane."

"What, I knocked down a monster, too!

"Look, there's a lot of them, so don't fight"

"I think we only had stockpiles of pork, but what happened to the mountain vegetables?

Kane wonders if there are ingredients he can't get without going into Mount Kuko and went out of his way to pick them up.

"The people of Kuko Village brought the mountain vegetables and nuts that were served to our temple."

"I see, is that what you mean"

It looks like Altena is a god.

That brings about the offering.

Even now, I think Kane has no choice but to daughter-in-law a goddess.

"Look, I've also been baking pies with nuts. You liked Kane."

"Yeah, thanks. I'll take it."

The tired body seems to be stained with sweet pie flavors, very tasty.

Speaking of which, this is how I used to do my adventures with Altena. I recall being stingy.

There were a lot of things going on, but the sewer cleaning was done safely, so today it was Kane.
